My niece and I both got pedicures. She got gel polish and I got traditional nail polish. Both of our nail technicians were friendly without being overly chatty. They both did an excellent job. My only complaint is the overpowering chemical odor throughout the spa. At a certain point during my pedicure I started wondering about the health effects of the chemicals. And then I started to worry about the employees who are exposed to this on a daily basis. This concern did negatively impact my overall enjoyment. My advice to the owners would be to invest in a better ventilation system. Will I return? Probably, but not as often as I would like. read more

The ambiance is very nice but I wish it were more quiet and peaceful to enhance the relaxing experience. I got a gel mani pedi and the girl who did them spoke in Vietnamese to the worker next to her the entire time. She also made a few of my fingers bleed and some of my toes bleed with how rough she was going. She also finished my entire gel manicure in less than 15 minutes. I felt extremely rushed and not at all relaxed. Thankfully I also booked a massage with Laura who was great. I was hoping for a better outcome since I go to ocala frequently to see family. Im going to be completely transparent with this review. At first I came and my first pedicure was amazing so I decided to come back and get my nails done . Since then a nail falls off almost every week or they get chipped and aren't shaped right (i honestly didn't notice at first with the shape) I came back for a fill (new nail) and a pedicure and what a mistake ! My nail beds on my toes started bleeding and she filled my toe down so much it was in pain literally just take the toe nail atp. The nails aren't painted well and I just had another nail chip . The inside is absolutely beautiful and the girls are so nice customer service is tip tier and that's why I'm giving 2 stars , you get a free beverage and there is never a wait but I don't think I can come here anymore it's just too many visits in the last few weeks I haven't gone a week without a nail coming off and I haven't an office job . read more

Complaint Against Ms. Windham Massage Therapist I bought my wife a 30-minute massage for Christmas on 12/24/25. She went on 12/26/25 at 1:15 p.m. at Azulene Day Spa. It was a nightmare of an experience. It was her first massage at this business. The massage was on her arms and upper body. She ended up with numerous bruises on her arms, chest, and shoulders. She had to go to urgent care on 12/29/25 due to swelling on her left upper arm around some bruising. As well as continued soreness that has not got any better. We took pictures and sent them to business to make them aware of the injuries. They responded and acknowledged that it is not the experience they expect a customer to receive. They have also suspended the massage therapist. They did not follow protocol. They did not have my wife complete an intake form. They were aware that it had not been completed and said since the massage therapist had taken her back already it was too late. She was not properly covered. She was laid on the sheet rather than being covered by a sheet. She had to ask to have a sheet to cover her chest when the therapist wanted to work on her front area. The medical staff she saw was genuinely concerned with her arm swelling and told her if it gets worse to go to ER. She was shocked at the amount of bruising and swelling. In addition to the injuries from the massage, they charged my wife $15 more for her pedicure even though I pre-paid it. I advised them of what services I wanted a gift card for. The manager responded once and was lack of care in the situation and the harm her staff caused. I won't post about the discussion that occurred during my wife's massage but it was very inappropriate. Their intake form says in fine print once your pay your money and they start their service regardless of the quality or harm that is caused you will not receive a refund. Hopefully this will help others not to make the same mistake I did. When is a gift not a gift? I would upload pictures but the location of the bruises are in areas that can't be posted. But there were eight bruises and arm swelling that lasted for one week. read more

Two stars now...Before I got my nails done, , I told my technician I wanted to grow my real nails out. He still cut them shorter. Also, the day after I got them done, my thumb nail split in half. I've never had this happen before. I do love the color and the way they look, so that's a positive thing. I'm sitting here waiting and waiting and waiting to get my nail fixed. I will now be at least an hour late to where I was supposed to be after this. Oh and they never answered my email I sent them about why they use communal jars for powder dipping. Awful! The facility itself is beautiful. Most of the workers are very pleasant. I went in and had my nails done with dipping powder. Two weeks later, the dipping powder is peeling and cracked. In my experience, dipping powder for me usually lasts a month with no chipping, and the only reason I have to have it redone is because of the grow out. I sent the facility an email with my phone number and gave them a chance to reach out to me, and no one has responded so I am going to post this review. The pictures I am posting are my nails two weeks after I had them done. It's very disappointing because it's so expensive and to have them last only two weeks is ridiculous. I have a home business and do paperwork all day - it's not like I'm outside doing strenuous work that could cause my nails to chip. read more

This place was pretty cool. We went here on an impromptu visit after a work conference. It was on a Sunday morning and they were open and accommodated the party of three that I was with. We all had varying levels of pedicures and we all enjoyed them. One person in my party said he would take a day trip just to come back to this exact spa. It was a nice facility. It seemed clean and they have some VIP treatment options if you're willing to pay a little bit more and have more time. All in all I was satisfied with my service however I will say that my toenail polish began to chip pretty quickly which is rare when it comes to having my toenail polish that's why I took it down a star. read more

Azulene has a huge reputation in these parts. But coming from NYC, I'm not fooled by overpriced service. My mom and I came first thing in the morning and were told we simply couldn't sit together for manis, even though we were the only ones there at the time... *sus* Then, the tech proceeded to drill down my gel polish to smithereens and damage my nails for the foreseeable future. Unless you have powdered gel, there's really no excuse for that technique, and soak off should be standard. I think the Ocala location is much more personable and customer-focused, and will therefore return to that one next time I'm in town. read more

Highway Robbery!!! $390 I had to pay to them today for their "SERVICES" There was one tech that did a good job with my daughter for her mani and pedi and the designs came out well. Thank you so much Katherine Ben gave a pedicure short of desirable- I was left sitting multiple times with my feet propped out of the water so cold and uncomfortable and then the polish he said he could do he botched 3 times before telling me to go to his nail station. Customer service is an absolute joke. Front attendants were unaccommodating when it came to at least getting someone that was able to do the work that's been booked and expected. Kelly did an awful job at shaping and polishing the manicure. Please see pics. O.m.g. There are signs that they'll fix any nails within three days but they weren't able to even hold that standard while we were there on site same day. My gf and I went to get an 75 min pedicure. Mine was wonderful the lady did great! My gf however did not get the same treatment to the point that 30 min in she got up and waited for me in the lobby. Afterwards when we talked to the manager (if that's what you wanna call her) she said she would give us $5 whole whooping $. I paid for both and tipped because I didn't want my tech to get stiffed but I shouldn't have had to pay for the services that my gf did not receive. I've visited Azulene for about a year now as a walk-in every time. I don't think I've waited longer than 5 minutes but I also don't ask for a specific person. I just get next available. I have typically had great service but there are a few times where it was less than stellar. I could probably do a better job of requesting people that I know have done a great job before. The facilities are clean and the people at the front desk are always friendly. I would recommend talking to them if you want something a little different so they can be sure they get you someone that knows how to do it. I asked for ombre pink and whites at one of my visits and it was like musical chairs because no one that came to get me knew how to do it. It was the 5th tech that knew what to do and did a great job. Again, I could have prevented it by just telling the ladies at the front what I wanted because they know what the techs can and can't do. SUPER disrespectful "customer service". Came in one time & was overcharged $10. Then they said they couldn't give a refund because it had already gone through & they were closing out their tills. Was given a gift card. Finally popped back in a few months later & realized that the gift card was left at home accidentally. Explained the situation- expecting some sort of apologetic understanding. Was told flat out "no way". Come back again some other time to use the card that you never should have got in the 1st place. Wouldn't even accept a: "what if I can call the house & get a picture of the numbers off the exact gift card?". Got a gel manicure and pedicure and eyebrows. The first red flag was that the hot eyebrow wax got spilled in my hair. Later on i go to get my toes and nails done and was left with 1 bleeding toe and 3 bleeding nails. Not only was the service HORRIBLE, but the gel came off of one of my fingers THE NEXT DAY! Yes, their services are guaranteed for 3 days but im not driving an hour back to ocala for one nail. Worst nails ever! I can't believe how horrible my dipped nails turned out. The surface is not even straight. I have old polish from where she took my nails off still on my fingers. No trimming of the cuticles. The color changed to look marble-like because the incorrect product was used as a top coat. My pedicure was amazing! A week later and my feet are still soft as silk. I highly recommend it.

The staff was friendly and facilities were clean, but the services were not worth the prices charged. I had a "deluxe" pedicure and had to ask that my feet be pumiced where I had dry dead skin. If I hadn't asked, it wouldn't have been done. I asked for my nails to be cut and then had to request that they be filed to be even. Again, if I hadn't asked, it wouldn't have been done. I had a dip manicure done, and when my nails were filed/shaped, they were left uneven rough edges until I asked to asked to have them fixed. All of this cost $112 before tip. Overall, a disappointing experience when judging the actual services performed. read more
