I have been to many of the nail techs here and most will give you their hard work, attention to detail, and overall exactly what you came in for however Sophia is by far THE most phenomenal nail tech I've ever been to. She has made my dreams come true with more than one set and she uses such advanced techniques. She is also the nicest, funniest person. You can be silent if you want or have a whole gossip session. Found Anna on yelp because she had good reviews and I made an appointment. I showed up 15 minutes early and she wasn't ready yet, which was expected, but there was a man next to her that was available and said he could do it. When I said I had an appointment with Anna (and wanted to wait for her) he seemed insulted that I wouldn't go with him, and even Anna tried to get me to go with him. I am very careful with choosing a nail tech because I have had horrible experiences. I always pick people based on reviews. I never just walk in to be placed with a random nail tech. The whole situation was very awkward so I walked out. For a $60 gel manicure, I expect better customer service. No one should make you feel like you insulted them for not wanting to be passed on to a random nail tech and Anna should not try to give away her customers who requested to book with her. read more

Me and my grandma went in for a pedicure, she's lived in Ocala for 7 years and we had yet to find one that we would return to, until yesterday. Everything was amazing, the staff were upbeat and having a good time. And they seem to have a lot of regulars, which doesn't surprise me with such great service! My grandma said she'd never had so much fun getting her nails done. Bea & Kami did our pedicures and they were so wonderful. DAMN. Sigh, I hate to give a bad review. 5 for diligence/friendliness and 2 for customer safety/hygiene = 3 overall. The salon is clean, staff is very friendly/accommodating. I had a mani/pedi with Tim. He is SO diligent in cleaning off dead skin from cuticles, almost to a fault. He is a little rough. He cut into my big toe and one of my fingers (see pictures). I should have spoke up and asked to take it easy and not to cut too short. Anyway, it is a tad infected (the next day). No biggie I'll treat with rubbing alcohol. I do recommend them but if you are sensitive or easily bleed (I am anemic) tell them to not cut too much and take it easy. If you are looking for a rough, deep cleaning Tim is your guy. read more

I had a complete pedicure. I had my eyebrows done . Very reasonably priced . It was professional while being personal . I enjoyed my time . They VERY OBVIOUSLY take incredible pride in their services and it was so refreshing to see. One last thing , while there an erratic woman came in , had a FULL PEDICURE. When it was completed she has a completely melt down , said she was leaving a bad review and walked out without paying . She never said a word before that moment . My daughter and I walked in to this salon for the first time last week, my daughter wanted to treat me to a pedicure/manicure for my birthday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming to all that entered the establishment, regardless of whether they were stopping in for a touch-up or new to the salon. Janet did an awesome job on my daughter's nails. One of my toenails was clipped to close and started to bleed the day after but it was minor and I am still enjoying my colors. got a full set done 3 weeks ago. nails all still intact, which surprised me because of the line of work i am in. this was good for me, until i went to soak them off. it took me 6 hours to soak my nails off properly in order to not damage my real nails. this is not normal, I also noticed it was extremely gummy/slimy which points to the usage of MMA.. MMA is poisonous and not safe for use. I'm extremely upset about this, don't get enhancements here :(( read more

So I went here 2 days ago, and when I arrived the cutest little boy opened the door for my friend & I, but as I walked in.. I noticed the guy that was going to do my nails was asleep in the chairs that they do pedicures in. When he woke up he automatically had an attitude as though he was bothered, ( long story short ) he kept on trying to upsell gel nails after I continuously told him no, I want just regular nail polish. Then he asked me what color I wanted, I told him I didn't even get to see what type of nail polish colors they have, he gave me a few to choose from. I noticed he gave me gel colors after I said I want regular nail polish twice. He then added the pink coat to my nails, which was gel nail polish, he did such a sloppy job ( as you can see ) then for my toes, Benny actually started it, then he took over.. instead of telling me that the nail polish I chose won't show really well he added white nail polish first then the glitter coat, the initial color was suppose to be baby pink with glitter, now I had this bright neon pink on my toes with only one coat of the glitter. Then a day later it fell off completely . Now with my nails, my friend accidentally messed up one nail, not even by much. Instead of me being upset he was! He had the audacity to look at me like he wanted to curse me out, then he smacks his teeth and rolls his eyes. I found it so funny how rude he was. I'm glad I didn't tip him, and I'm glad I'm able to write a review about him, maybe he was having a bad day and it showed in his work.. i don't know, and I don't really care because I paid $67 just for his attitude and his sloppy work. Went about a month ago to get my nails done for an interview. My technician was an older lady with short hair, and she was very rushed and sloppy throughout the mani pedi. There was rough gel at the edges of my nails that she didn't file off, which the manager was kind enough to fix. In addition, she didn't apply the gel evenly so I could see streaks, along with the fact that there were patchy spots missing colored polish near my cuticle. In addition, the gel started to lift less than a week later. I have done my own gel at home before and have never had that issue with gel. In addition, the regular polish on my toes chipped off 1 week later; also an issue I've also never had before. The last issue was that the technician dropped the cuticle clipper on the floor before she started, picked it up, commented on how it was warped, then proceeded to use that same clipper for the mani pedi without even cleaning it. On a more positive note, the customer service was great and the salon was very clean and inviting. I think I would go here again but request a different technician. My grandmother came with me and her technician took her time and did a great job. I also watched other clients get their nails done and their technicians were taking their time. Their nails looked great too. If you go I would just avoid that one technician. read more

I love the staff but sadly they don't wash their hands between customers or after smoking a cigarette. Yes my nails are beautiful and the price is reasonable but what's the point of it if you walk out smelling like smoke? Also the wait times are long (up to 30 minutes) even when you make an appointment. I'd say something but they are always trash talking other salons and I'm sorry but I feel like I'd get shunned. Otherwise I love them and they do a fantastic job. So sad I'm going to have to look elsewhere. read more

I used to come here every single time to get a fill. Recently this salon has showed a lack in professionalism and care for their recurring clients. I will book with one person and get a different person when i get there. They have no concept of an on time appointment and if you book for the middle of the day they are ALWAYS behind. I only book in the mornings and I literally arrive before my technician and the owner. Now to mention the bad job. My acrylic nails do not even last. They fall off and break multiple times before i even go back for a two week fill. Not sure if this is the person or the crappy products used but what's the point of getting acrylics when you have to go multiple times to get them fixed. After two successful visits here with Janet I am astonished with the disrespect they have showed me on my last and final two visits. An app't made three weeks ahead for a mani/pedi with Janet I found she was already booked for that time with her other customers when I arrived. No explanation was given. They had a new girl (second day) do me instead. Yesterday I returned for a 10 a.m. app't willing to take anyone for a Gelish touchup and found two other customers booked for the same time. They set me up with my hands in acetone, then left me to do a pedicure. After soaking for over 10 minutes I left with very dried up fingertips. Never an explanation to me what they had planned .
