Their bagels are always fresh, soft, chewy, and full of flavor. They're also a great deal at $3.50 each. On my recent visit, I tried their bagel sandwich with egg and bacon on a jalapeno and cheese bagel with cream cheese. The sandwich was so yummy! The scrambled egg was fluffy, and although the bacon wasn't super crispy, it was still tasty and paired well with the sandwich. It was also a great deal at $7.50. I have yet to try their drinks, but they have a variety of Filipino inspired lattes like ube and pandan. They even sell calamansi juice. Customer service is great! The only downside is the parking. They only have street parking, and it can be difficult to find a spot on busy days.

The blue Thai tea was pretty and still had all those classic sweet warm spiced flaves but not gonna lie did taste a bit watered down. The avocado blt had nutty smooth avocado, savory meaty bacon, juicy tomatoes, leafy lettuce, and tangy mustard. I got it on their jalapeno cheddar bagel which was chewy, soft yet dense, and had a bit of a kick from the jalapeños. Wasn't getting much cheese flaves tho. The pizza bagel also had a nice chewy, soft, dense bagel with a sugary tomato sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. I got this one on a garlic bagel which gave it an extra crunch from the garlic bits and was yummy. Overall this place was lowkey pretty good. Thai tea $6 Avo blt $8.50 Pizza bagel $8

The quality of food is second to none. Not only are the workers and owners just simply fantastic, their food is too. Our favorites are the MCB (nova lox, tomato, onion, capers & plain cream cheese on an everything bagel) and the Loxsmith (nova lox, crispy salmon skin, radish, pickled fennel, dill & beet cream cheese on an everything bagel). The MCB shines above all the other sandwiches for me and it's our favorite breakfast in the morning. Every bagel has the right amount of chewiness that we all love. My family and I would walk and frequent this place every morning to start the day with their fantastic bagels when we lived in the area. Oh how much we miss the living in Highland Park with the awesome shops and restaurants this city has! They also do platters and we've ordered for pick up for our office meetings too and everyone loves it! You can preorder everything online and set a day and time to pick up.

5/27/2026 4 Stars -…read moreminus 1 Star for lack in parking spaces. First time at Belle's. PEC Got it on a plain bagel. The bagel was fluffy and had a nice chew! Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. They did not skimp on the seasonings! Every inch of that bagel was covered in seasonings! Favorite Bagels: Salt Bagel, Everything Bagel BEET CREAM CHEESE Delicious! Smooth, creamy, almost buttery! This is whipped cream cheese with roasted beet puree. Light in beet flavor, it had dill in it too. I was hesitant in getting a tub because it was on the pricier side. But it was so good, glad I got it! SEATS / AMBIANCE It had a lovely East Coast diner feel when walking in. But still, the space felt a bit cluttered. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

I saw that they now offer Buffalo wings, there were multiple 8 by 11 print-out photos posted inside letting customers know. Since I'm a practicing Trytarian, I need to try (almost) everything at least once, especially in regard to food (except the deadly blowfish delicacy of course, dog, or cannibalism). I have a soft-spot for wings, but discipline myself to eat them only on special occasions or when an intense craving arises. But I gave in to give this new menu item a try. However, while ordering them I was met with an unpleasant surprise. I found it deeply heretical that they only offered ranch and not the standard blue cheese. I know there's a lot of ranch enthusiasts out there, I went to a college with a high-amount of Midwestern representation, and I too would often find myself participating in their "dipping fries in ranch" ritual. However, when it comes to Buffalo wings, my philosophy has always been blue cheese and crispy or GTFO. Nonetheless, I found myself unexpectedly eating (despite no blue cheese) and enjoying these Buffalo wings at Bagel & Slice on a late-Monday afternoon. Props to offering 8-pieces over 6. That felt generous and comfortably iconoclastic. But please get your act together and offer blue cheese in addition to ranch (if you must). Even the guy who ordered wings after me, while I was eating them asked for blue cheese. Locals and nearby Oxy students will certainly appreciate having high-quality Buffalo wings close by. But I cannot and will not endorse these wings until they are served with the option of blue cheese dressing.

So, I drove all the way out to HP to pick up my bag. Let me just say that the trip here was worth the traffic and parking issues I ran into at 8:50pm at night. The box they gave me was filled with a variety of pizza and bagels. For an early 5am breakfast, I had a bagel w/ cream cheese and thought it was delicious! For 2nd breakfast, I had a half a slice of margarita pizza and half a slice of pepperoni and those were also delicious. The pizzas are on the thin side...so, I don't feel too, too guilty lol Anyways, the service was quick. The shop is cute. There's some outdoor seating. I'd come back with friends and our dogs one day!

Anyway, I'm typically a plain bagel girlie, however, I decided to try the jalapeño cheddar, and after some convincing from the cashier, add the sausage and egg. I didn't like anything about it. I don't feel the need to break that down. But, I was reminded why it's been so long. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't disgusting, just not for MY pallet. The location itself is really nice, well kept. And the customer service was great. I do like the variety of options and appreciated the short wait, given the amount of customers that just kept coming. I'm not going to say I won't return because the location, and the outdoor seating makes it a good choice on some days. If I do return, I will adjust my bagel choice, and perhaps update this review.

So this is really a 3.5 star rating but the effort and range of options is notable. But also, some offensives are: - the toppings and schmear is a little skimpy (my friend had a plain bagel and cream cheese and I had the lox with 5 capers). - the cream cheese didnt taste much like anything (we did not order the vegan version) much so that my friend threw away hers halfway thru (i agree, no one should be suffering for bad carbs) - lastly: the bagels were toasty on the outside but really dense and chewy on the inside which personally is an obsession on the east side about bread I do not understand. But we got something else (not bagels) as a side and had some good orange juice and we were able to not be so disappointed. Will we come back? Tbd.
