OMG, the most amazingly delish, make you happier and happier with each bite kind of catering! Everything was so delish. *** THE FOOD IS MAGICAL *** There were so many thoughtful elements. High quality bread, toasts, cheeses, salami's, ham rolls, spreads, jams, pickled vegg, moroccan carrot salad of sort, omg, I could go on and on. Let me tell you, today's catering at Room Service Beverly Center was 5 stars all the way, and TWO THUMBS UP, WAY WAY UP!!! Going back for 2nd, 3rds, etc. So freakin delish! Luv hugs n blessings!

Our dinner party was perfection. As you well know, the food is the "main attraction". It was all outstanding. Everything. The beverages, presentation, the food was incredible, delicious. But none of it happens without the people behind it. Duane, Rio, Brian & Alex were wonderful, helpful, friendly & attentive. I was truly able to enjoy our event. Everyone raved. Thank you so very much for a memorable dinner.

FRIED RAVIOLI?! why is this my first time trying you!? Thank you Heirloom-LA @ the Yamashiro Farmer's market (thursday nights 5-9 pm) For $7 we got them to give us a 6 piece sampler of the fried raviolis they were serving that day! ---mushroom: BY FAR THE BEST, great dipped in that white sauce! ---shrimp w/ chimichurri on top: i liked the chimichurri but the shrimp flavor got lost! ---pumpkin: not bad but a little lacking in flavor, better dipped in that tomato sauce! LOVE the wooden spoon & knife they provide as utensils!

I really want to like Heirloom LA. I want to LOVE it. But from the food I got, I can't get myself to give Heirloom more than 3 stars. I found this truck at the Yamashiro's Farmers Market one summer evening and became interested as soon as I saw "Lasagna Cupcakes" on their little blackboard menu. What? A creation that incorporates the savor of lasagna and the cute, compactness of cupcakes? No. That can't be. But turns out the Lasagna Cupcake is for real. I went up to the cashier and ordered myself a simple basil, marinara and cheese cupcake. When I was told it would be $9, I was taken a back a little. Sprinkles cupcakes cost around $3 each. What makes this cupcake so special that it's $6 more? Regardless, I paid because I was so damn curious to find out what it looked and tasted like. Well, unfortunately, I was let down. The cupcake fit in the palm of my hand and, I mean... it was really just alright. It was good lasagna, but there could have been more ricotta cheese (was there any, now there I think about it?) and it was kind of hard to eat. Meh. It could have been much better and much cheaper. Three stars.

I love food trucks! With that being said, I noticed the Heirloom-LA truck parked right outside of the Everson Royce wine store/bar. I ordered the lasagna cupcake and the vegetarian tacos. I thought the lasagna cupcake was a little pricey... but it was bigger than I thought it was going to be - still for $9 (I think it was), a little high. The crispy tacos were okayyy... I would order something different next time. I thought they were too fried. For those of you in the Pasadena Area: Every Tuesday night, the Heirloom-LA food truck is in Old Town Pasadena in front of ER (Everson Royce) :] They place chairs outside on the side walk for people to sit and the ER has wine tastings inside.

WOW!!! I cannot say enough about the amazing food that I had the joy of devouring with wine-induced abandon at Silverlake Wine on Sunday thanks to the culinary expertise of Heirloom LA!!!! I had first found Heirloom-LA thanks to Silverlake Wine and their Sunday wine tastings. I just about freaked when I heard that they'd be doing the food again for this last Sunday's tasting to go with 4 amazing Hirsch Valley Pinot Noirs. The food was OUTSTANDING!!! Fresh!! Flavorful! Thoughtful!!! Beautiful! DAMN!!! Our group kept embarassing ourselves with the giggles and the moans and the shameless begging for more! There was amazing John Dory on butter lettuce-WOW! Grilled vegetables with the most insane romesco that had hazelnuts!!! Saffron risotto with burratta chees. WOW!!! Do me now good! ABSOLUTE FAVORITE: Artichoke and Mustard Green Ravioli with Brown Butter Sage Sauce and Toasted Pistachios and the most amazingly sexy and delicious roasted beats...mmm, what I would do to get some of those amazing treats in my mouth right now!!! ; D I cannot wait till the next event these guys are doing around town...we may just have to create our own shin-dig just to dig into their amazing goodies again!!! Enjoy!!!

Ok. Where to begin...Heirloom is not a catering company. To call them that is a gross understatement of who they are and what they do. They are a company that creates amazing unforgettable experiences around food. Their team (Matt, Kasey and the on-site team led by Chris) is first rate and from the minute you engage them you get the feeling that they are as excited as you are for your event. They are organized and efficient and truly want to take care of every last detail. Their service is flawless and when they leave, it's like the event never occurred. Everything is perfectly clean and remaining food is incredibly well packaged and placed in your fridge. We entertain a fair amount and have hosted events in New York, London, Miami and Los Angeles. Heirloom LA is hands down the best company that we have had the pleasure to work with in all our years. Our guests raved about the food. The passed trays are delicious as is the charcuterie display (see photos). The dinner menu is equally outstanding and presented beautifully. We cannot say enough great things about Heirloom LA. Just hire them and let them make your event something that will be remembered forever!

    Crostini Bar Set-Up.

Fantastic & beyond expectations. I booked Heirloom LA to cater my girlfriend's 30th birthday party. The only thing she asked me for all year was a party for her friends and family and the crew at Heirloom helped me pull it off to perfection. I admit, I had never had eaten at an event catered by Heirloom prior to the party. I booked them solely based upon word of mouth, their website and internet reviewers (Thank you, Yelp users). Tal, the GM, helped me put together a menu of items that I knew my lady would like and everything was a hit. He did not mind my weekly emails going over all the details again and again. In fact, the party was last week and I have received great comments about the food everyday since. The menu we put together was... rustic crostini bar with artisan cheese and meats roasted chicken mac & cheese lasagna cup cakes mixed vegetables farmer's market salad (They offered to supply dessert, but I could not argue with the mothers' in my life desires to supply homemade chocolates and cookies). Heirloom LA's pricing will seem high until the day of your event. Once the crew gets there and sets up, you will see that every dollar is worth it. My party only had about 40 people and Heirloom brought a crew of 5 to make sure every detail was handled accordingly. Each team member was professional, polite and attentive (but not overbearing). Well worth it.

    lasagna cupcake & strawberry lemonade
    Minda w.

Lasagna cupcake! I happened upon the Heirloom truck at the Yamashiro's Farmer's Market. That night they had a lasagna cupcakes! We got a meat lasagna cupcake and a strawberry lemonade. The meat lasagna cupcake was kind of small but had a hearty taste. I loved the texture: crispy on the outside, warm and cheesy on the inside. The strawberry lemonade was light and refreshing. It wasn't overly sweet or tart. The addition of some mint leaves made it even more refreshing and unique. The presentation was very cute too. The strawberry lemonade had a red and white swirl paper straw reminiscent of a peppermint stick. It went very nicely with the mint leaves. The meat lasagna cupcake came in a cute little bamboo boat. Very eco-friendly too. Looking forward to meeting this truck again.

Review on Heirloom LA food truck: You would think "gourmet food truck" is an oxymoron, but Heirloom LA is as good as it gets when it comes to food trucks. You won't get it until you actually try out their food. They are at Silver Lake on Thursdays (I think) and Pasadena on Tuesdays. I'm not a big food truck person, but this truck is legit! - They use fresh ingredients and whatever that is in season. Because of this, their menu is always different every week. - They are known for their cupcake lasagna - The time I went with my friends, we tried the pulled pork sandwich, pork shoulder chili cheese fries, halibut. Prices are pretty decent for what you get, around $10-14 per plate. This food was AMAZING! Have you ever seen the movie Ratatouille? You know the part where the food critic eats the ratatouille and it transports him back to his childhood and there's his mom and laughter. I promise the 1st dish I order made me feel like a Southern Bell at a summertime Georgia picnic. This was a great find. An oasis amongst a sea of concrete and super affordable, 90% of the sides are only 5 bucks. I will be back. I have been back. I will go again. The service is great, Ben is the man.

Every single dish was delicious and flavorful; my guests all commented on how good it was and most of them went for seconds. Even after that, we still have a ton of leftovers, so the portions are very generous (I ordered a 10-person meal and we had 11 big eaters!). As a Korean, I can tell you this is the real deal--it's so freaking delicious and exactly the type of food I grew up with. A few things to know before you order: No Storefront: This is a catering-only business, so there is no physical restaurant to visit. You just call them to place your order. The Right Number: Make sure you call the correct number! Their main lines are (323) 466-3737 or (323) 799-7909. Customizable Menus: While they have menu photos online that act as a guide, you can pick and choose exactly what you want. We ordered the Kalbi Jjim, various veggies, pancakes, and kimchi, and every single dish was a hit. Massive Portions: They are incredibly generous! We ordered for 10 people, but they gave us enough food to feed 40. You definitely get your money's worth. Easy Pickup: The process is super smooth. You just pull up to the street on Beverly Blvd, and they will load everything directly into your car for you. Pro Tip: Ask about getting a discount ;) Also when you arrive to pick up, give them a 15 minute window to assemble your order. They have a delivery option too. I will definitely be using them again for my next event!

We had so many guests come up to us during and after the wedding (even months later) saying the food was the best they've ever had at a wedding. Everything from the passed apps to the mains, desserts, and late night food was amazing. Food is a huge priority for us, and we wanted to make damn sure that our wedding food delivered, especially since so many of our friends and family know us as major foodies. We loved Hungry Bear's asian-fusion menu and even the salad was unreal (and I'm not a salad girl...get the Little Gem Salad y'all - it's both beautiful and delicious). We had opted for family style and had hangar steak and miso black cod for the mains (but seriously, you cannot go wrong with any of their choices) and a late night pho station. I'm salivating just reminiscing about the food. The drinks were just as good (feel free to reach out to the team with your favorite flavors/ spirit to brainstorm drink ideas or even give them a specific recipe). I opted for a yuzu gin cocktail as my signature drink, which was delightfully refreshing and very well made. On top of that, the service was next-level. The waiters and bartenders were all very kind, funny, and professional. The team made sure my husband and I were constantly taken care of--full water glasses, plates of food, cocktails, everything. One of my best friend has celiac disease, and a staff member came up and told her she was personally "in charge of her" for the night. She was blown away. I was blown away -- especially since we had our wedding at a "bring your everything" venue where everything was brought in to build a "kitchen" - Hungry Bear made sure that food safety/ cross-contamination was a non-issue. Amazing food, amazing drinks, and genuinely kind, fun, and professional servers and bartenders. Jennie, TJ, and the Hungry Bear team truly go above and beyond. We're already asking ourselves when we can have Hungry Bear cater our next event. Look no further and book your tasting today (trust me, and good luck narrowing down the tasting selections)! Highly, highly recommend.
