What is not to love about this diner...great food, fast service and friendly staff. Let's start with what everyone wants to really know about...THE FOOD. Breakfast they have you covered from every basic combination of eggs, Benedicts of all varieties (my personal fav is the country), awesome omelettes and all the pancakes, French toast and waffle options. Lunch menu is packed with the burgers and sandwich's plus all your diner favorites (chop suey, meatloaf, etc) Now the service...this place is packed (for a good reason) but they will get you in and out without feeling rushed. The staff is welcoming and accommodating and will make sure everything is perfect for you. The atmosphere is a small family owned diner. If you are looking for a fancy sit down go somewhere else. If you want to feel like family and have a great meal check them out. The food was good. Omelet a bit small. The service was the issue. We had a waitress Dawn who was a bit much. All we wanted to do is enjoy a Father's Day breakfast with family. She was very forward, touchy feely and made it very uncomfortable. The ambiance was nothing to rave about. read more

My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Average sausage patty. Thin ham with crispy edge was a nice difference. French toast was thick buttery with a healthy cinnamon taste. Home fries crispy with a light seasoning. And hollandaise was thick not oily. Prices were competitive not the cheapest but certainly not to expensive. GREAT breakfast :) read more

Great little breakfast place tucked away in a shopping center along 125. We stopped here for breakfast last week. Very laid back with quite a few locals. I had the Denver omelette and the wife had a breakfast sandwich. Service was excellent with our waitress checking on us and refilling coffee a few times. My omelette was perfectly cooked without any browned or burnt eggs. Hash browns were nice and crispy. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast sandwich. This is the place to go if you're looking for a simple yet great option for breakfast. The food is always spot on! Because of how busy this place "it can get crazy" sometimes the service seems a bit slow but when you see how busy they are it won't matter. Dennis and I found a new favorite breakfast place. The Early Bird Cafe is a hot little spot in Plaistow, NH. Open for breakfast and lunch, they offer traditional American favorites. Its the only place I know where they have both the breakfast AND Lunch menu available. I love this since I am not a big fan of the American breakfast. So this am, we get there and the place was PACKED. It is one BIG open dining room and it hold close to 100 people if not more. I had a cup of the chicken and rice soup and I had Huevos Rancheros which came with beans and rice. Both were excellent. Dennis had a chili and cheese omelette. The chili was made there and it was loaded with fresh tomatoes. The coffee was really good. The place really clean and service quick and efficient. We will def be back. read more

Excellent corn beef hash and perfect poached eggs. I was even impressed with the fired potatoes which usually come out over cooked and dark these were perfectly cook. kudos to the cooks! Very clean restaurant and friendly service. My only negative is the price of a cup of coffee $3.50 for small cup. I understand it's all you can drink, but we both only had one cup each. This did not effect the 5 star review. read more

Food- The quality is the draw here and is why this place dominates the other 3 diners in Plaistow. It's all fresh, quality food, made the day it's served. They offer a ton of daily specials including prime rib, turkey dinners, American chop suey with garlic bread and over the top fish chowder, plus home made desserts. Once they run out, they run out. There is no freeze it for the next day here. They serve breakfast all day and nail the staples with fluffy pancakes,loaded omelettes, crisp bacon and home fries and juicy burgers. My favorites include the Yankee pot roast ,Huevos Rancheros (dropped eggs in a tortilla with rice) and the Monte Carlo sandwich with a bacon and swiss wrapped chicken breast. Prices- They are standard prices with breakfast specials and sandwiches running around 7 or 8 bucks. You get huge portions of quality food for the prices. Service- This is not a place you'll see a miserable teenage waitress. It's family owned and operated and the staff is always friendly and accommodating since it's often the family you're dealing with. Atmosphere- It's a pleasant diner setting with not a lot of frills. There's plenty of seating inside and stools at the counter. This place fills up and the lines are long on the weekends though, a testament to the quality. It's the best place for home cooked and fresh breakfast and comfort food around. They've done it right to stay around for 20 years so go try it and let the food speak for itself. read more

Early Bird cafe was great. Sorry Sandie G. But Early Bird gets the worm and this worm is squiggly happy!!!!! I happened to be travelling through Plaistow and was able to get breakfast at 3pm. Had a great Omlette, and french toast and a drink for about $12 . That's Expensive? Try anywhere around the Boston area and you'll pay more. They had great specials on the wall too. Service was fast and friendly. Only drawback is they don't take credit cards....deal with it....Its a cafe, I thought it was a cozy neighborhood atmosphere despite the large amount of seating space which in my opinion is better than waiting 20+ minutes for a seat in a small cozy place. I'd rather have a large "cozy" place. Anyway this Early Bird Worm would highly recommend that you come get a seat and grab a great meal :) Just remember to bring Cash!!! (There's a Cumbies down the street with an ATM if you need one) Also they are now open late Wed through Sat till 7:30pm read more
