Food not that great. Hash was not that great. Ordered special omelette with hash and did not like the flavor of the hash. Service just ok.

I had the Yankee pot roast that was extremely tender and juicy, followed it up a few days later with an amazing breakfast that was fresh and inexpensive.

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. She ordered it cooked Medium. When it arrived at the table, it was barely warm and extremely rare. It was barely cooked. The huge wad of unrendered fat evidenced the fact that it had seen very little heat. The Waiter assured her that he would take it back and have it made right. When it came back, it appeared to be the same piece of meat that had been reheated. My guess is that they submerged it in Au Jus (basically boiling it) to hasten the cooking process. It should never have left the Kitchen in the first place and the second effort was not much of an improvement. The accompanying Mashed Potatoes were dry and unappetizing. Asparagus was scant but good. I had the Beet Salad with Grilled Chicken. It was excellent. Sadly, the "Prime" Rib debacle will keep us from going back for Dinner. Their wheelhouse seems to be more geared towards Pub style offerings.

He is quite knowledgeable about the menu as well. Ok, let's get to the cuisine. Home made, thick, rich blue cheese dressing over a garden salad. Indulge if you like blue cheese salad dressing. It will make you very happy! Steak tip tenders were cooked perfectly and they were actually tender! The Demi glacé was the best ever, made from the jus from the short ribs. The mushrooms, onions and asparagus was a delicious topping and the mashed potatoes were homemade! The best steak dinner I've had in a long while! Every bite was perfect! Could not pass up homemade hot gingerbread pudding with ginger crystals and vanilla ice cream. Wow! Cannot wait to come back. Everything is made from scratch and is top notch. The french fries were tasty, but there was very few in the serving- the basket was about 3/4 full. The asparagus again was good, but the serving was small- about 3 tiny sprigs. The salmon was good and was a nice portion. They recently had air conditioning problems so had a 'window' unit in the wall which randomly spit out water down on the table. We did inform the staff about the water, but really nothing was done. We heard the story but that was it. Usually we greatly enjoy our experience at Rick's but this time it fell short.

My friends had the salmon, mussels and calamari, and a steak tip salad-everyone loved their meals. For dessert we shared crème brûlée warm donut dessert with ice cream and whipped cream, which were amazing. Our server, Naomi, was the best-attentive, friendly, and sweet, always making sure we had everything we needed for a great dining experience. The restaurant was packed on a Tuesday night, which says a lot about how good it is. The two small cons: when I made the reservation on March 7, I included a note asking for a surprise birthday dessert for my friend Anita after the meal (I had planned to order the Swiss Chalet Cake), but it never arrived. Luckily we ordered the crème brûlée donut to share, which was fantastic anyway. I just wish reservation comments were reviewed so special requests like that can be carried out. Additionally, it was also a bit loud for a small restaurant, especially on a Tuesday night. Overall, everything was perfectly cooked and we'll definitely be going back again soon.

The location might surprise you, but the food absolutely delivers. They strike a great balance between dependable menu favorites and a steady rotation of specials that keep things interesting. Each of the servers has their own favorites and it is fun to try new things as you are feeling adventurous. The regular dishes are consistently well prepared, with generous portions and flavors that feel thoughtful rather than routine. The specials are where the kitchen really shows its imagination. They often end up being the reason you change your mind about what you planned to order, and it is clear the team enjoys giving guests something unexpected and memorable. Service is warm, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food arrives with the kind of care that makes you want to return. One small note: they require a credit card to secure a reservation. It feels a little tacky for a neighborhood spot, but it is understandable given the size of the dining room and the impact of no‑shows. Overall, On the Corner Grill is absolutely worth visiting if you appreciate a place that delivers reliable favorites while still offering something fresh and unexpected. If you want it shorter, more casual, or more pointed, I can reshape it.
