Ok so we bought our house on Thursday, moved in on Friday and that night all the drains were backed up. First let me say before we moved to Shasta County I worked at several plumbing companies, including one that worked with home warranty companies. Since we had a warranty on our house I decided to utilize it. Although I was very concerned because it has been my experience that those plumbing companies are horrible. I called the warranty company which had not received payment from escrow yet and couldn't verify anything because it was a Friday night. They suggested I call a plumber and the submit a claim to be reimbursed. I decided to use who they use because I didn't want them to tell me later the plumber I picked wasn't covered. They gave me the number for Earl's. First thing I did was read the reviews, I was surprised and thought it looked promising. I called Friday at 11pm but told them it could wait until morning. When I scheduled they wouldn't quote a price over the phone. All the plumbing companies I worked for and know do this. It is really freaking annoying. If I wait 2 hours for someone to show up and they give me some crazy price then I'm gonna be more pissed because my time was wasted. Will showed up and gave me an extremely reasonable price. He went the extra mile which I really appreciate. He did great work and figured out the problem. He made sure I got the best deal by giving me a bonus membership which pretty much paid for itself. I don't know if Earl's gives bonuses to their employees but if they do give one to Will. I would recommend this company and this plumber to everyone!!! read more

On February 6, 2026 my wife and I were loading our luggage into our carto leave for a long-awaited week in Cabo San Lucas when I observed water freely running down my driveway. I had an immediate nightmare of having to cancel our trip. I called Earl's Plumbing, Lic # 772565, and a very cheerful voice assured me that they would have a technician out between 10 and noon. It was currently about 9:15 am. I waited while I tried to settle my stomach. after about 10 minutes, I got a call from Earl's saying they would have a technician out within ten minutes. Jeffery Faulk arrived and assessed the problem. He said he would have to cut a trench through the driveway and replace the water line between our meter and the house. I told him that my wife and i had planned on a trip, and he said that would not be a problem, he did not need access to the inside of the house. He gave me an estimated cost of the repair, shut the water to the house off, and agreed to call 811 for the underground utilities to be located prior to starting work the following Wednesday. This was Friday. I left for Mexico with no small amount of trepidation. The following Thursday, I received a call from Jeffery saying the work was successfully completed and asked for a card number for payment. The cost he invoiced me for was right on the quote he had given me on site, including a new pressure regulator he installed. I have a home warranty, but hate dealing with the random companies they send out. After hiring a non communicative plumber for my last repair, on my own, I wanted to call around and see who might be helpful with my other plumbing issues. I had a few things going on , and I needed someone to take the time to address my different concerns. The lady on the phone was awesome, and really helpful. They booked me right away for a free estimate at my home. She told me they accept my warranty company, and if I'm happy with the estimate process I could request them to be sent under the warranty claim. They sent a clean, nice, professional plumber named Scott. He was great! Answered every question and concern I had, and even wore those paper booties on his shoes when entering the house. I was happy with the process and hired them for the repair. They sent Scott back out, quickly,and on time. He got right to work and did everything on the list fast and properly. He was helpful and friendly ,and when he was done he asked me if I had any questions. I really liked this company because they are very responsive, appointment times were very quick and they showed up within the 2 hour window, with an advance phone call both times. We moved into our home two years ago and have have the main burst at least a dozen times. The day after Thanksgiving, it burst in multiple places and my husband could not bandage it any more. We called another plumbing company that was rated very well and their estimator came out and looked at the situation and had said the work was going to be very extensive and were supposed to get back to us with a bid but never did (we had no water). Gordon Glynn from Earl's came out, prior to coming out, they did make sure we were practicing safe distancing and made sure we and them would be wearing a mask, and told us the repair, the cost, and it was very fair and reasonable. He said he was going to go back to the shop to pick up a couple of parts and would be back shortly. He came right back and fixed up everything and didn't leave until he had thoroughly checked everything, the work was guaranteed too! We've had no issues at all. Our neighbor came over to check on us and asked for their name too. Scott S. thank you so much! I called Earl's Plumbing at 7:50 pm and by 8:50 pm Scott S. had it fixed and my water was back on. I mowed over an old pvc pipe in my backyard from a defunct watering system and water started gushing. After the water to my property was turned off I started looking for a plumber to fix it. This was Sunday evening, keep in mind, and I was thinking of how I really needed to shower for Monday morning. He called to let me know he was on the way and when he arrived he looked at the problem and gave me a quote. He noticed that my house had a funny smell, which I had been trying to track down all day, so he got out his gas sniffer and checked around my ceiling and my gas appliances to make sure it wasn't leaking in my house. There is no leak, thank goodness.( I believe the smell is from a burned out microwave that quit working which is waiting for the repairman in a couple days.) After 2 frustrating tries our leak seemed to come back with a vengeance. Earls Plumbing came out & gave us a detailed quote on the day I called. The next morning Kyle, who also did our quote, showed up and went over everything he was doing. Kyle is a gem to this company, he's speedy, knows the ins and outs of his job, very personable and incredibly efficient. Brandon came to assist Kyle, he introduced himself to me and explained how he would assist Kyle. Professionalism all the way around. However, you can talk the talk but can they walk the walk. I believe after encountering a few bad experiences One learns what to look for. They took the time to talk with my three year old, after watching them work together I felt like I had the "A" team. I would never leave my house to strangers, UNLESS I felt comfortable with the company both Kyle and Brandon work for. I picked the right company and the company obviously settles for nothing but top notch employees. I highly recommend Scott and Trevor from Earl's Plumbing. I've been burned so much by plumbers but this time it was different. I finally found my plumbers. I cannot express the gratitude I have for Scott coming to my house 45 minutes after calling. He was thorough and diagnosed the issue quickly. It was the worst possible scenario I had in my mind. However, he was able to get a hold of Trevor, and they came a few hours later and completed the project before 5. From Jack-hammering our concrete, replacing the leak, and refilling the cement, everything was done with the utmost professionalism and I ended up coming home with the area looking cleaner than when I left home. Their quote moved down not up ( not the norm but it showed me a lot about their honesty and integrity). They made sure that everything was in top condition. They were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a leak around one of our toilets. On Friday Jan 12, 2017, Jason B. came out and replaced the seals around the base. He did a fabulous job. The seal was clearly worn out. He was very prompt, professional and cordial. On Sat nite, however, water again appeared around the base of the toilet. On Monday 1-15-18, we called again, and Will H. came out. Will determined that a secondary problem was the cause. An incorrect fitting on the valve for the POC of the toilet tank was leaking behind the bathroom wall. He was able to repair it quickly, also very professionally, giving us credit for the previous call-out repair. I noticed water bubbling up from underground near the front of my house so I called my favorite plumbers, Earl's. They answered promptly and told me they were sorry Kyle could not come out as he was at another job but they would send someone else out right away. As usual they called me back with an appointment time and who was coming. They also called me when Rylie was 20 minutes away. Rylie arrived and promptly found the problem. He also discovered unfortunately for him, more work than anticipated and a bit of a bigger problem. He found the trouble and went to work repairing the current problem, while also telling us what we will need to do in the future as the original plumbing on our house is a living nightmare(not a quote from Rylie(lol). Earl's Plumbing was very prompt and professional in response to my request for repairing a leaking toilet. They were able to respond same day and called me with a free estimate before doing any work, as I was not at the residence. Jason B. was the technician that gave me a call with the estimate and performed the work. He performed a free service check of the rest of our plumbing and noticed another leak that he informed me of and asked if I wanted him to repair it. I agreed to the repairs and after performing the work, Jason called me and let me know he was able to repair one of the leaks without changing out any hardware. Did you know it is recommended to service your water heater? I sure didn't! I filled out their online form and the office staff promptly called me to set up a free inspection. I thought I only needed my water heater serviced but once they were here I started remembering all the things that have been needing attention.. These wonderful and very professional service men handled all of my issues swiftly and they were incredibly kind. I wasn't planning on fixing 7 things and neither were they lol! 10/10 recommend this company, and they will come back out in a year to service my water heater again at no charge! The maintenance agreement is easily the smartest $99 I have spent recently. Our tub stopper went missing and I have a 1 yr old who likes to drop things in the toliet so when the toliet stopped flushing I was pretty sure I knew what happened. Earl's plumbing came out right away and I told the technition my thoughts when he arrived but unfortunately the problem was not resolved after he left. When I called again Kyle T. came out promptly and I did not tell him my thoughts about the stopper, but within a few minutes he came out and said he could tell that there was maybe a toy stuck at the bottom of the toilet and would do all he could to get it out without charging me to pull in his big tools! Not only was he successful but he would not charge me at all! He was very skilled and really took care of us and I am so grateful! I will be caliing Kyle again for sure!! read more

We called Earl's to get a quote to run a gas line from the house to our new outdoor kitchen. They set up a time for the very near future, texted to confirm, texted a reminder to us and actually showed up and on time! When we were ready to have to job done we called them and the same thing happened. These guys are ON it! We were warned when we moved here how hard it was to get service and we've found that to be true for the most part, but not with Earl's. They were proficient, professional, courteous and everything else you could ask for. The gas line is great and the grill works like a charm. They actually sent us a Thank You card! What!? I have used Earl's before and had a good experience so called them again yesterday. Though I have two bathrooms and my issue was not an emergency, they made an appointment for early the next day. Brandon arrived at the beginning of the projected time of between 8 and 10. He quickly diagnosed the issue and explained clearly my three options with no preassure to choose one over the others. Although I chose the inexpensive band-aid fix, I plan to save up and have both my 1977 toilets replaced at a discount before the year is over. Brandon was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and amazingly quick. He remained patient answering clearly the many questions I posed. 6 years ago my wife and I moved out into my old family house. We noticed every time we had large groups of people over we would have plumbing issues. We pumped the septic tank which was long overdue, but it still didn't solve our problems. Numerous snaking of the toilets didn't help either. I finally made a call to Earl's. We didn't find out until late last night our hot water heater wasn't working. The pilot light wouldn't stay lit. So I called Earls, the said that they could have someone out today... So I set the appointment. Earls called back a little later said that they had someone in the area and asked if he could come earlier. Awesome! Not only was Paul on time, he was actually a few minutes early. How often does that happen? Paul was able find the problem quickly, worked with me to find the best solution to get our hot water heater fixed and was prepared to fix it while he was here. My girlfriend had a simple toilet problem. They replaced all items in the tank, still had problems, came out again, still problems with simple flushing, even with new parts. came out 4 times, she ended up paying over $400 on stuff that never even fixed the problem, then suggested she buy a New toilet. ( she has a very nice clean home) . I went there and tapped on the new "filler valve" , it worked, found the problem, costs $7.48 at Home Depot. The 90 day warranty is up in 10 days, but she's afraid to have them come back into the home. They keep finding "other" problems. she has spent over $700 on this simple toilet issue (stuck floater). Our sprinkler and drip irrigation stopped working so we called Earl's based on reviews we found online. Scott came out the same day (we are in Cottonwood) and first of all, he is the most courteous service tech I've had the pleasure of having at our home, ever! He went straight to work and found our issue was no power at the program and timer box. After checking fuse box, he went around and checked all GFI outlets and found one was tripped. He reset it, fixing the problem and didn't charge for the call. No question who we will be calling next time we need help with plumbing. I was really impressed by Paul at Earl's Plumbing. A technician had been out earlier in the day, and afterward we ran into some unexpected water pressure issues. Paul came out later that same evening, and I was blown away by how much he went above and beyond to make sure the problem was resolved.
