They didn't get a permit for the hot water heater that we had installed less than 2 years ago and it's not up to code and they aren't willing to fix there OWN work to get it up to code. The office staff were very rude and did not understand how frustrating this was. We called for no hot water and after paying $1600 we got no hot water and a new $500 faucet in the shower of our 50 Year old home. Waste of money and they didn't fix the problem. Called him back and he replaced 5 ft of pipe with the wrong type of pipe, total bill $2600. Hired a Mexican plumber, he dug up pipes and replaced plumbing the tree had destroyed and replaced the wrong pipe and fixed the water heater, $1200. read more

I needed my hot and cold valves fixed on my washing machine because they were leaking. The quote to replace was around $400 (my brother just replaced two .50 washers). $600 to replace my laundry sink faucet (bought on Amazon for $150, my brother replaced for me also). I also had a clogged toilet valve and was told that needed to be replaced too. I unscrewed it myself and washed it out. I just followed a YouTube video. The plumber who gave the quote said they were more expensive, but they have a guarantee of their work, which I would hope all plumbers do. I think he knew they price gouge. although they showed up for the appt, that is the only good rating I can give them. Otherwise I would use Edgewood plumbing for things I can't do myself. read more

It is two strikes and you're out for Earl's Plumbing. We were aware they overcharged once before but this latest price gouging is the worst I have ever seen as an 80-year-old consumer. First of all, Earl's could not give me a rough estimate for a routine replacement of a water heater recirculating pump and insisted a 'technician' would give me an estimate when he comes out to the property. Sounded reasonable except for the fact that the 'technician' had no idea what it would cost he because he is not capable of producing an estimate, he could only refer to Earl's established list of prices. so why couldn't Earl's do the same when I called and ased for a price!? Next, I discovered the pump costs $219.00 at Home Depot and Home Depot said it would be a one hour job to replace the new pump. Meanwhile, Earl's informed me that they would charge $1,089 to replace the pump. You have got to be kidding, this kind of price gouging is darn right criminal and most certainly unethical. Whatever you do, find another honest plumber, maybe Earl's just likes to take advantage of a senior citizen. And by the way I did find another plumber to replace the pump for less than half of what Earl's charges for labor. Earls has a large imprint in this area, but I wonder if people are aware that they are grossly overcharging. read more

Earls plumbing came and did a repair at my home and in the process damaged my vehicle, when I told them that night they had damaged it they said the technicians were nowhere near the vehicle so I sent photos and videos showing the management that they were right next to my vehicle with my home cameras and then they said they would review it, they got back to me and said they would not accept responsibility, I of course will not do business with them again because after they said they were not anywhere near my vehicle and I sent videos showing they were, I completely lost trust I wish they would make it right but it does not appear so read more

Our septic backed up and flooded both bathrooms . Earls was able to come out the next morning to pump it out. In the process, they discovered ALL of our lines were clogged! Before they started working on those, they let us know we were at over $500 already but we HAD to fix the issue so they proceeded to spend a few more hours completely clearing all the lines 3 guys working non stop most of the day We waited for the call from their office telling us the total bill, expecting to have to sell one of our kidneys to pay for this disaster . The installer was here for about an hour and a half, maybe 2 hours max! That means this installer is charging over $1,000 per hour labor charges. Josh was a great technician. But we are very upset about what we were charged. He was here to fix our water heater for four hours. We got charged a flat fee of $1950. That comes to around $480 an hour. Very little parts were needed. We would much rather have gone with a plumber with an hourly fee. We've called around and it's around $160 an hour. We will never use Earl's again for this reason. We complained to them and got no response. Our hands were kind of tied because it was the end of the week and the water heater had already been semi taken apart when the new charge was disclosed to me. This company is taking advantage of the elderly and no intellectual individuals when it comes to plumbing issues! I went to a friends house, with a leaky hot water lavy sink faucet in a mobile home. Told him it had to be replaced. I'm 61 years old and was a residential plumber in the late 70's to early 80's for abut 5 years. I removed all the old flared fittings and 3/8" copper tubing lines, installed angle stops but when it came to removing the bad faucet I had to remove the round sink, rim and sink-clips, litterally had to cut the old faucet off the sink, all done in a mobile home. This has been done on my days off and at 61 years old I am beat, and bruised up arms, ribs and wrists. I told the owner to call a plumber and I would pay for them to finish the job. He called Earl's the made a scheduled time never showed called back and said they would be there between 1 and 3pm on Thursday the 5th of October. On my day off, I head over to the work site and wait. Mind you all parts to complete the job were there sitting in plain site! All it was was a simple re-mounting a Lavy sink with a new Lavy faucet already installed and connecting the supply lines. I was told by Josh that sink can't be remounted in that vanity the whole is too big. He then began to tell me how trailers were all manufactured and they glued the sinks down, yada ,yada, yada!!! He wanted to charge us $480.00 to install a newer drop in sink if we went and bought it or $660.00 if they had to go get the sink. He was straight lying to my face and trying to take advantage of the situation!!! I told him go get the sink it needs to be fixed. In 20 minutes, while they went for the new sink, I remounted and installed the damn' sink I wanted to pay them to do! It's working fine no drips, no runs and no errors!!!! This company is full of Sh*t! They are taking advantage of customers and don't even know what a sink clip is!!! I seriously think this company needs to be reported to the better business bureau! read more

I received a report with photos only no description of what is wrong and no bid for the fixes. Have called the manager, Tech Matt that came out, texted, and emailed. Still waiting for a response. since when did plumbers become dirty sales men? I have old galvanized pipes and under my tub the pipe was completely blocked. I called earls out and the plumber quoted me the cheapest price of 2500!! I was desperate so I accepted and he said he would be out the following day to do it. I never saw the quote and he never mentioned all the extra fees he threw in there, and I was way over charged for the little bit of work that was actually done. Apart from the super shady deal I got he also was cussing and talking about thinking no one was home but my son was in his room hearing it all. First they canceled first appointment, because they were too busy. Came out the next day. They were supposed to diagnose my water heater. They told my husband the tanks were empty, they were full. They refused to diagnose any further. I called and complained, they said they would send someone out, in 3 days. They didn't do what they were supposed to, so I have to wait 3 days. These guys were useless. I get that they are busy, then why send out people, who represent the company, to give such crappy service. I will not call them in the future. Completely took advantage of my situation and left the problem UNFINISHED! I needed a minor leak fixed in my laundry room. The worker looked at the problem and estimated the cost at $500.00 and would take hours to fix. He cut into the drywall, quickly changed the nozzle and spent only a half hour total. I now have a huge hole in my wall. When asked, he said he doesn't do drywall and left. DO NOT USE. You're being warned, Do as You will. Well, unfortunately the Negitve reviews are accurate! The past 3 years I've used them, now comes to an end! Yes they are likely the most expensive Plumbers in the county, do little and take your money and run. I felt robbed from illequiped "plumbers" who really didn't seem to know what they were doing. First two who's running around in circles looking like they really didn't know what they ever doing or looking for. You won't find a water Main in the backyard or planters or around the foundation. They came to find a water leak, I showed them the meter and where the leak is noticeable. I mentioned a few times, I believe it to be in the irrigation system. They came with nothing on the truck to search for this type of leak. Within the first 2 hours I suggested they scrape the dirt away from the area around the water meter, a valve has to has to be in that area and to include the box where the regulator is located. About a half hour later goes for help, comes back with I feel someone else who was as ill-equipped and not as knowledgeable. Two hours later tells me they found the the irrigation cover and shut the valve off!! Good, Took them four hours to look where I suggested two hours earlier to look for the valve! Yes it's in the irrigation system! No, Really?? There isn't anyway for them to locate the spot of the leak because they lack any experience or equipment for this job, but were sent out anyway. I was hosed for what little they did for $1600.00!! Insult to injury, I had to request they clean up after themselves, but still they leave three holes they dig up! Earls Professional Plumbing isn't so professional! One of the "plumbers" has done irrigation work in the past, which makes him qualified for my job? Over the years they have gotten over $7+K from us, no more! You have been warned! read more

I was very impressed with the young man named Will who showed up to trouble shoot our plumbing issue. He was very courteous and professional and knew his stuff. He jumped right in and found the problem and had us back in business in no time. Earl's pricing is very reasonable and I appreciated them coming out late on a Friday 30 minutes out to my place for a free consultation instead of charging me $125 from the moment his truck started rolling like their competitor wanted to do. We needed a leak found and called Earl's thinking they could do the leak detection and repair! Well not only did they schedule and reschedule for coming out to find the leak they charged almost $1,000.00 for 2 hours worth of work. If I knew they wouldn't be getting the job done in its entirety I would have called American leak detection and another plumber. Also, weird side note, when asking for an itemized invoice they said that they normally don't provide those. On the positive, I did manage to get an invoice and the leak was approx. where they called out. read more

I needed a tech to install an expensive bidet seat for my elderly mother who had recently had a stroke and was coming home from the hospital rehab. They were able to send someone the next morning to do that job and a few other things - replace the 15 yr old mechanism in the upstairs master toilet, replace the seat on the toilet in the hallway, tighten the faucet in the kitchen, check to see where the water was leaking under the kitchen sink. He suggested getting a tile guy to fix the grouting around the sink but tightened up the faucet which had been wobbly for about 18 months. In and done within 2 hours. I was using these plumbers for a while on my rental units but the last job I tried to get them to do they gave an outrageously high estimate and even after we accepted it they never communicated further with us. They even harassed me saying I couldn't use the $25 coupon because I used them for on other jobs even though they kept giving me new ones. To nickel and dime me for wanting to use a $25 coupon for a job that's going to cost over $1,000 turned me off to these people. We got another established plumber who did the job for over $400 cheaperane did more work and so now I am using them. I do not recommend Earl's read more

We were able to get an appt. the following day we called. Will came out and quoted us later in the day and then ended up coming out the next day to do the work we discussed so he could have some daylight. He serviced our leaky toilet and installed a water shut off valve. The price was exactly as quoted. Will worked his tail off getting us all squared away and helped us get our bathroom operational again. We added a mini request while he was on site and he took care of it without any issues. I was impressed with his service and work ethic. I ended up doing their yearly water heater maintenance agreement and got the water heater flushed that same day. I plan to use them for any future plumbing needs. read more
