I called and talked to an older woman, who was sweet sounding mind you, and I proceeded to tell her what happened at my property. I got 2 sentences in and she cut me off. I tried again but she kept wanting to be the one to speak. I kept it cordial as I was raised to be. But by the end of the phone call I had no choice but to tell her I would call back. I have no interest in being educated or combative over a few Porta potties. If she was having a bad day then she shouldn't have been answering phones! I am shocked at all the good reviews. We call Welch Enterprises each time we are having extra people on our property. It may be for a celebration or renovation, but each time they are prompt in delivery, maintenance and retrieval of their products. As it is quite affordable for a month of service, we especially like the billing process as Welch will leave the sanitation unit until we call to end the service. Julie, in customer service, has excellent customer rapport and strives to serve us to the best of her ability. The maintenance crews are always careful when they pull into the drive and service or transport the sanitation unit. Additionally, the crew was especially attentive to our surroundings (trees, vehicles, etc.) when pumping our septic earlier this year. When I called, they were very knowledgeable and helpful, let us know we were typically eight at the start of the time frame for pumping. The day of our appt, he arrived early, no fuss, went straight to work, explained the system to us, gave us tips, and when he was done, put grass down to where it looked like he hadn't even had to dig it up. When you have a septic problem and you have been using a service for years, you would expect, since I consider this an emergency, because our daughter is having a baby and she will be staying here for while, so we needed to get our tank cleaned out. So we called for an appointment and we were told that this co. ( Welch Enterprises) was booked for two weeks out. Not a courteous response as well. So, we called BIG VALLEY SANITATION and , wow, they came out today and cleaned the tank and do you know? Cheap, sweet-as-can-be service, toilet rental. Despite my initial protests, we rented a port o' potty from them for our wedding and it was actually nice! Just moved to the area and purchased a home with a septic system, which was also new to me. Welch did the inspection when we purchased the home and it came back fine. A couple of months go by and we start to see some issues. Called Welch and they immediately came out to see what was going on. Long story short, the tank was already full, so Welch pumped the tank to buy us some time and brought in the right people to identify specifically what the issue was. They dug up the d-box and found the leach lines had roots which were restricting the flow causing the issue. All of this within 24 hours. In the rain. At no cost because they did the original inspection. Unbelievable. This level of service and commitment is all but impossible to find. Quick, honest, reliable, and stand by their work. I don't write many reviews, but when I find a company this good, I have share the news. I give these guys my highest recommendation and would rate them even higher if possible. read more

Unfortunately they were all rented but she was sweet enough to call back and let me know, not to mention they had the cheapest prices. Jon showed up right on time. I showed him my problem with the leach lines. He gave me great information on ways to keep my leach line from having extra problems. He dug up the switch box in no time. Assessed the problem right away. He switched my lines and poured in the root killer chemicals. Told me I should cut down one tree by the leach lines. Our septic tank backed up into the house.... Not a fun evening to say the least.Called Welch Enterprises first thing in the morning and they were able to come out right away! Patrick went way beyond the call of duty in my opinion to determine what was causing our issue. He made sure to explain everything he was doing so I understood what was going on. He found the problem and resolved it!!! He gave us some helpful suggestions on how to make sure this doesn't happen again. Which we will start doing immediately! We called Welch because of a foul smell emanating from one of our bathrooms. I suspected a problem with our septic system either needing to be pumped or something larger. Instead of coming out and charging us a service call. We were advised to go and purchase some bacteria and put it into our drains. If it didn't cure the problem to go ahead and call them back. I am so pleased with the excellent service Welch provided me and would certainly recommend them to every one over and above all others! The representative came out because I had an issue with drain flies and was not sure if my septic needed to be pumped or how to solve this problem. He said I didn't need to get pumped out at this time but gave me the suggestion of mixing dish soap and water in a spray bottle and with the lids off the tanks spray vigorously all areas around the lid and tank. Also said to add dish soap to the affected tub and sink drains every day for a few weeks. He also gave me a free bottle of liquid septic bacteria similar to ridx and said to add it to the toilets periodically. I learned that the dry ridx is ineffective unless it is premixed with hot water and then added to toilets. I can't thank Welch enough!!!!!!! read more
