We met Kim and his son Matt at the home show earlier this year. We really liked their explanation about the mini split systems and after getting several estimates, we called American Air. Their estimate was the lowest. Matt and his crew were really nice and respectful and came in and did an excellent job installing our system. We did have an issue about a week or two after. Before the city would sign off the permit, the pad the outdoor unit sits on had to be bolted down differently. Apparently this was a brand new change and ours was the first unit this needed to be done to. The unit had to be lifted off the pad and apparently when that happened we lost all of our Freon. My husband called on a Friday morning and left a message that our unit was not cooling and in a matter of minutes, Matt was at our door extremely concerned and started looking for the problem immediately. He worked a couple of hours and found the leak, fixed it, filled our unit with Freon and told us to let him know if we had any other issues. Our system has been working beautifully and we are so happy with it. Weeks later, Matt stopped by as he was in our area and asked how our system was working and if we had any questions, concerns! "The Mitsubishi mini splits have been on my wish list since I first used this type of system while living in Southeast Asia. The system allows each bedroom's occupant to regulate temperatures according to their preference, which is perfect for my AirBnB home. These units are efficient and very quiet in operation. I keep the unit in the common living area set at a reasonable temperature and adjust by a few degrees to comfort when folks are utilizing the room. In the first full month of use, my electrical costs were lower than I expected and I can hardly wait to see what a difference the system makes during the dog days of summer in Redding. Best Priced Pros for Mini Splits in Redding. I was really impressed with the professionalism of Kim and his crew. They educated me on home efficiency and installed beautiful new mini splits in my house. Initially, there was a mixup in our communication, but Kim took responsibility and made good on his promise ( I didn't want the compressor located under a bedroom window because it spoiled the view) I really appreciate his integrity. And you can't beat his prices! His quote was substantially less than the second cheapest quote for my 4 head system. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. These guys go above and beyond what I would expect. The first time my AC broke, I talked to Kim on the phone several times while he tried walking me through fixing it myself. When none of his suggestions worked, he sent out Matt to fix the AC. American Air had to come out and service our office. Kim and his team were very professional and were able to figure out what the problem was within a very short time. His crew was able to pull a few parts off of the truck and repair the equipment within that same day. The AC now runs like new.
