I called these people out of desperation on Wed afternoon, as soon as I realized my AC had gone out. I called the number listed, which referred me to the main line, that I also called. I left a kind message, bordering on pleading, for someone to please call me. I had no AC in July, and I have a child at home. No one ever called me. I called them again the next day around noon. Still no answer and no call back. I had to wait an entire weekend, Thursday - Sunday before I could finally get their competitor to come and assess my AC. Never did I receive even a courtesy call back from this company. Why their star rating is so high, I will never know. I am going to bed tonight in a 90 degree home, with a migraine, and a young child. There is NO excuse for this. If they didn't have the time to help me, at least call or text to tell me so. Was without a AC unit during the start of last week's "heatwave" and had to call for help! Used my American Home Shield to place a service request and was fortunate to get Golden State Comfort. I've had other local heating and air service folks in the past, but Brian with Golden State went above and beyond the usual repair work that I've experienced from the other places. He not only resolved my AC issues, but took the time to perform a full service check for the unit and discovered additional heating issues that would've become problematic this next winter. Our home warranty company sent this company out to fix our Central AC and initially they were really quick to schedule and were professional while here. However, when we called them back to tell them that the problem was not fixed and we were still having the same issue, we were told it would be more than three weeks before they could come back out. The woman I spoke to said she would contact our home warranty and ask to have it switched to a different company that could come sooner, however that was never done. When I contacted her later to ask for an update she told me that she had been disconnected so she sent an email, but when I got a hold of the home warranty they said they had no communication with her on their part. The home warranty ended up sending out another provider that actually went up into the attic and found the problem and had it fixed within the hour and told us if there were any other issues to call them and they would be out the same day. I understand that it's the hot part of the year and this type of business is busy, but if you didn't fix the problem to begin with, I don't think I should have to wait three weeks for you to come back and fix it. read more

Brian and his team gave us wonderful customer service and were extremely knowledgeable about the unit we had on our roof. Another company diagnosed the program but did not get the correct information to get the correct parts which was going to take months to fix. Brian was able to come out figure out the problem, pick up a part he had on hand and fix our issue within less than 8 hours! We greatly appreciate their efficiency and excellent communication. With the record temperatures, it was hard to find a technician that had availability to work on our broken AC unit. Golden State Comfort came to our rescue after dealing with our home warranty company. We had three other companies all come out because our AC was blowing out hot air. 1st co. just put Freon in no testing. 2nd co. put Freon in that was supposed to show any leaks. Never came out on the call back when it did t work. 3rd com. Said it was the coil and installed it. Incorrectly,. By the time Bryan came out he had a mess to fix. He was on time, was careful of my wood floors. Michelle kept in constant contact with me and let me know what was going on. I can't say enough good things about them. Brian is professional and very knowledgeable. Golden State Comfort was assigned to us by American Home Shield (which by the way is hit and miss with their service). For the past 3 years we've been having issues with our heater and they have sent us 3 different providers who didn't have very knowledgeable servicemen. They acted like they knew what they were talking about and kept blaming the problem on various different factors. Each one saying something different. None ever fixed the problem, only temporarily did. Brian of Golden State Comfort really was the only one who just knew what he was doing and fixed the problem!!! We appreciate excellent service.
