This is the first time we've actually eaten here and everything was so good! The beef tartare was the best we've had in a long time. We liked the seasonal pizza more than the regular, but both were pretty good. We also tried the artichoke dip as well as two desserts and we are already looking forward to coming back and re-ordering a few of those! Our server was great too- very accommodating. We loved our drinks and enjoyed the atmosphere...going from a bunch of sunlight coming in the space to the sun going down with gorgeous lights inside. It felt like the perfect evening (we were clearly there a while). :)

The restaurant itself was beautiful. The food fell flat. The desserts were especially tasteless. The burger was not seasoned and the dip was bland as well. We really wanted to love this place but it was not the most enjoyable meal.

I have a new favorite desert, and it's the Budino. I have never before enjoyed pudding in any form or flavor, but I love this. Super rich, slightly salty, with the perfect amount of crunch, I have been known to order this and only this for pick up when I am craving desert after dinner. If you like Butterfinger candy bars, give this a try. You're welcome. Yes, I also enjoy their pizza and cocktails (and have reviewed them), but this review is basically just for the desert which I did not include in my previous review. Earl Giles also has a nice upstairs space with a bar and a mixing room that is great for large groups!

Came specifically for the holiday pop up bar. They''re booked and busy, no reservations available practically all month. So I went around 4pm during the week as a walk-in. The only option was seats in the lounge or the bar. Opted for the lounge with couches since it's comfortable, roomy, and a fine alternative to a table for us. I'd come once before and there was a 45 min wait even for the lounge. The seasonal holiday drinks were decent. I had the holiday cosmopolitan which was ok and included cranberry and mint. It was flatter than I expected. Could use some Prosecco to brighten it up and a dash of mint syrup and more citrus since the mint leaves didn't really come through in flavor though they made for a cute mistletoe. The egg nog shot was great and the truffle fries with grated manchego cheese are super delicious. It's beautifully decorated. I had higher hopes for the drinks and would consider giving another try.

Earl Giles Distillery -- where culinary artistry, experimental spirits, and flavor wizardry collide. Part bohemian bistro, part distillery, and part mad scientist's lab, they're on a mission to tickle your taste buds, bend the rules of tradition, and serve up something delightfully unique and unexpected. Sip house-distilled concoctions dreamed up by their in-house "spirit whisperers," feast on artfully rebellious dishes that flirt with the surreal, and explore the out of the box menus crafted in their Flavor Lab--where ingredients get molecular, moods get seasonal, and nothing is off-limits. They do well with the Old Fashioned, the OG of cocktails. No fluff, no umbrellas -- just spirit, spice, and swagger. It's what happens when whiskey puts on a tuxedo but still tells great bar stories. Cheers!

Beautiful distillery that's perfect for meeting up with friends, first dates or after work socializing! I went here with some coworkers for drinks and apps and it was perfect to lounge in their chairs and unwind. The pickle dip is delicious and my strawberry mojito was a hit! Everyone loved their drinks and our shareables. I highly recommend this place as it has lots of parking, beautiful decor, great drinks and service!

We went to Earl Giles at 530 pm on a Saturday. We walked in without a reservation and were sat at the bar. I would HIGHLY encourage a reservation if you want to sit somewhere specific/ get in right away during busy times. Food 5/5. We had an old fashioned and dragonfruit drink. They were both very good. I love spice, and this place hit it out of the park. Everything was perfectly balanced, fresh, and spiced well. We had the pickle dip, Doritos, pepperoni pizza, and the smash burger with tots. I have zero complaints! If you're on a date and don't want to get messy, the smash burger isn't your option. It was amazingly delicious and ended up all down my hands. One small note is if you get pizza they come out when they're ready, so not always together with other food. Service 5/5: all of the bartenders were very attentive, friendly, and prompt with service. Ambiance 5/5: we sat at the corner of the bar, so had some extra room and we loved it. This place can get a bit loud, but we were able to hear each other. Do note that the dinning room is made up of high tops, low tops, and couches. If you want something specific make sure to ask for that. Overall we loved this place and will be back.

Such a fun holiday spot during the Jingle Giles pop-up! I made a reservation a month in advance to ensure we could enjoy all the holiday decor and menu. My only downside was that we were seated in the upstairs away from all the lights - there were just a few blue string lights and a yule log on the TV. I would suggest that in the future, the reservations should be placed in the main space, and walk-ins be flowed through the back. Good news is, the holiday menu food and drink was fantastic! My husband loved the salted caramel old fashioned, and I loved the N/A lingonberry seltzer. It was sweet, light and delicious - plus very festive! We then shared the Caesar salad - I am obsessed with the bread-y croutons. Finally, we ended with a pepperoni pizza with hot honey, and it was perfectly flavorful and not too floppy. Overall, would recommend the Jing Giles pop-up other than the seating situation!

We came around 11 am on Saturday, which is right about when they open. It wasn't busy at all and we got seated quickly. We chose to sit in the lounge area on large couches. They were comfy and the plants and space make a relaxing environment. Their cocktail menu is extensive and impressive! Along with their fantastic NA/Zero Proof drinks!! Very impressive. My drink of choice was the Rabbit Kick. Great color to it, nice flavor from the carrot juice, gin was hardly noticeable, did not taste the vanilla at all, but that's okay it was a good drink. Refreshing. We ordered the house pickles. They are a generous amount so share them. They were very good though and I did bring the rest home with me. We tried this interesting dish Beets that had coconut cream, papaya salad, and fried shallot. The beets were fantastic and the coconut cream so light and fluffy without a sweet taste. The papaya salad added a nice spice to it. Did not care for the fried shallots on top, wasn't sure if it was because of their texture. Maybe they weren't crispy enough or just didn't feel like they added much to the dish, but as overall happy with the beets and brought the rest home for later. We had the Pizza Indeed which I have to say I have tried before and it is incredible! Great flavor, texture, not too greasy. The crust is soft enough to eat though not too soft and doughy. I remember when I first tried it I was nervous about having hot honey on a pizza, well was I shocked when it was so good!! I like this place and would come again!! Mostly for their extensive cocktail list and amazing pizza and exciting atmosphere!

The mocktails are delicious! Not overly sweet like at most places. The place is huge with strands of lights and so many plants. Service was friendly and the server made good recommendations for drinks. The pickle dip was really good- the pickles in the dip were crunchy. The gluten free pizza was ok- the crust had a weird texture. My friends liked their food a lot and also loved the decor. A huge parking lot is such a bonus for NE Minneapolis . I will for sure be back!

Fun spot that is beautifully decorated for the holidays. Lots of festive and holiday themed drinks. The crab artichoke dip was a hit across the table. It came with fried breadsticks that are reminiscent of a fry bread. The French onion pizza was quite good too. The meatloaf was tasty and looked like a small portion but was surprisingly filling, especially because the flavors were very robust.

The most beautiful display of lights throughout the distillery. A spacious place with some private areas separated by pergolas surrounded by open spaces as well. A delicious menu and special cocktails

It seemed that there was not enough staff with only two servers covering the floor and that resulted in some pretty long waits before we could put our order in or get the check etc. It did gar a fun vibe where people could hang out, grab a bite and a chill drink. The menu does appear to change out every week which was confusing and also meant that the menu we found in their website was different so some plans had to change. If you are looking for something specific or having a tight agenda may not be the place for you but if you are okay to just hang out and go with whatever is in front of you then no issue!

We had a pepperoni pizza, their mushroom pizza, and the salmon dip and they were all 5 out of 5 amazing! I'd absolutely come back just for good and drinks. I would absolutely recommend this class!

The space itself is beautiful with a really cozy ambiance, and the patio is a great option when the weather is nice. The drinks are absolutely the star of the show. You can tell there is so much intention behind both the flavors and the presentation. The cocktail menu is super creative, and the Old Fashioned menu alone is phenomenal with so many unique options. The Beorn Old Fashioned was my favorite. We also tried the Payanello (pineapple, lime, ginger, pickled jalapeño) and it was incredible. Food was fantastic as well. The brussels sprouts were so good and a must order. Service was amazing. Our server was so kind, helpful, and gave great recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. It is on the pricier side, especially for drinks, but honestly worth it for the quality and experience. Reservations are easy to make and I would definitely recommend booking ahead. Parking was manageable when we went, but I could see it getting tricky during busier times. Overall, such a beautiful, thoughtfully done space with incredible drinks, great food, and top tier service. A perfect spot for a night out or just grabbing a cocktail and soaking in the vibe.
