We were in the river view room and it was cozy with a great deck view of the river. We were able to get settled in pretty quickly and wander by the water; sit and enjoy the scenery, and last but not least see their little rabbits, chickens, and prince the peacock! Ludger was an amazing host and really made us feel welcome -- can I also say he puts some restaurant chefs to shame with his breakfast creations? I found it super thoughtful that they had a check in sheet asking about allergies, dietary restrictions, and even taste preferences. He definitely accommodated to my vegetarian palate while still cooking up some of the best meals I have ever had at an inn, hotel, and possibly even restaurants. Kudos to him. It was super nice to have fresh fruit from the orchard be included the meals and it really added such a great touch to them. Price wise, I would say it is very reasonable for the delightful experience, calm and quiet surroundings, and comfortable stay. I have recommended this spot to every friend I have seen this week and will continue to rave to everyone about how amazing this spot is. It was the most epically relaxing way to spend an afternoon in mid August. Tom Potter hooked us up with paddleboards, life preservers, and the best picnic lunch ever. He gave us some lessons on paddle boarding and sent us off. Two hours (plenty of time!) later he picked us up at a pre-designated location. He picked us up in his truck, which the inside will blow you away... It's outfitted like a limousine inside. If you have an afternoon to spend in or around Leavenworth, this is the best bang for your buck.

The issues are: carpets are loose with tripping hazards and duct tape holding together, gnats coming out of the sink overflow hole, blood on the walls and shower curtain, moisture damage on the ceiling above the shower, wallpaper peeling off the walls, toothpaste on the wall, TV remote (tried two different kinds when desk agent gave me a 2nd one to try) didn't correlate to the TV so could only use channel up/down and volume up/down, gym equipment is old and outdated, and there was a plastic bag secured with a ponytail holder over the smoke detector. The blood spray and plastic bag point towards drug use in the room prior to our stay. Also the train was going by all night long and the people above us were stomping on the floor. We asked for a different room and were told no rooms were available due to being overbooked the entire 9 nights we stayed and our reservation was not refundable because we booked through Expedia so we were stuck in unclean and unsafe conditions.

Seriously, why aren't all hotel pools & jacuzzis 24 hours? This needs to become the standard in the hospitality industry! The hotel is smoke-free, of course, but it didn't always used to be...or so it smells. There is a faint hint of it throughout the building, but not enough to be detrimental. Just noticeable, at times. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout our stay, particularly when we had to send some friends to retrieve a couple items from the Lost and Found that we'd accidentally left behind. Would definitely stay here again the next time we have a reason to stay in Wenatchee!

Pretty sure the front counter staff went back To their room and got one of their own dirty pillows. Really? Room had three adults and they would Only give us one hand towel. I would say that this hotel fails as being hospitable. Customer service failure. Didn't honor on line price. Difficult, disgusting, and disappointed.
