Our room had a step-in waterfall shower which was incredible. Great room is stocked with board games and brochures. Rooms come with smart TVs for unwinding. And oh my gosh the breakfast was absolutely filling, delicious and healthy to boot! Laurie was so accommodating with my vegetarian diet as well (she made me veggie sausage). Homemade blueberry streusel baked french toast, sausage, and fresh berry parfait. All in all a 5 star experience.

We were in the river view room and it was cozy with a great deck view of the river. We were able to get settled in pretty quickly and wander by the water; sit and enjoy the scenery, and last but not least see their little rabbits, chickens, and prince the peacock! Ludger was an amazing host and really made us feel welcome -- can I also say he puts some restaurant chefs to shame with his breakfast creations? I found it super thoughtful that they had a check in sheet asking about allergies, dietary restrictions, and even taste preferences. He definitely accommodated to my vegetarian palate while still cooking up some of the best meals I have ever had at an inn, hotel, and possibly even restaurants. Kudos to him. It was super nice to have fresh fruit from the orchard be included the meals and it really added such a great touch to them. Price wise, I would say it is very reasonable for the delightful experience, calm and quiet surroundings, and comfortable stay. He gave us some lessons on paddle boarding and sent us off. Two hours (plenty of time!) later he picked us up at a pre-designated location. He picked us up in his truck, which the inside will blow you away... It's outfitted like a limousine inside. Blow dryer Coffee maker in room Room was spacious for toddler to run back and forth Table with 2 chairs so there was plenty of room for eating meals or doing crafts like coloring or play dough. Complimentary hot breakfast was great. Waffles, Eggs, biscuits, gravy, potatoes, breakfast meat changed each day from sausage Pattie's/links, diced ham, toast, English muffins, bagels, a couple cereal options, a couple fresh fruit options such as banana oranges and apples, yogurt, and prepackaged fruit cups. CONS The water pressure in shower was pretty terrible as a woman with a decent amount of hair it takes a long time to rinse it all out due to barely any pressure The toilet seat is very low. The toilet paper was mounted to counter that was more than arms reach away for me There is a lack of plug ins near bed for plugging in phone charges sound machine etc and one outlet was completely worthless as nothing would stay plugged into it. Occasionally you'll hear the train that passes right by the hotel. It's fairly loud and vibrated the walls. The BIGGEST issue we had was the mattresses were the absolute worst we've ever slept on. The springs were maybe getting jammed down I woke multiple times throughout night from the lack there of comfort or a spring popping up feeling like someone banged on bed from underneath. OVERALL We would consider staying again especially if the mattresses were replaced.
