Although the parking and entrance is in the alley and a little hard to find. I'd to call their office to find out the direction to the entrance. They were every helpful. The suite is very well equipped with quality stuff right from the utensils to the refrigerator; and everything was very clean. There was free wifi and internet TV with Netflix (subscription included) and a few other online services like Amazon, etc. (free/fee depended on what you wanted to watch). The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again when we go to Leavenworth!

Building only has three Suites so it feels very private. Very modern with high ceilings and everything is new and super clean. Free parking, coffee and WiFi is always nice. Lona was so helpful with check-in, dinner and spa recommendations, trouble shooting and was very responsive by text, email and phone. I was a bit concerned that the Suite was directly above the very popular Icicle Brewery since my wife is a very light sleeper. The building was put together well. Noise was very minimal and non existent after they closed at the reasonable hour of 11 pm. Parking is a bit tight if 3 SUVs are there, but it's free and if you need more space there is a pay lot across the street. Also no elevators so packing bags up to the room is a bit of a workout, so pack light and hit the brewery after unpacking. I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep this gem for myself, but I had to share this wonderful place. We will be back very soon.

On the way to the hospital I called the hotel and they went above and beyond to help us. Sarah, the evening manager, changed our reservation to an ADA, ground floor room at no extra charge and offered to stay until 10pm if need be. We got to the hotel around 9pm and she found us extra pillows, helped us to find delivery food, gave us plates etc and could not have been more helpful. The room was so cute too. The bathroom being accessible was a godsend for us. Really the people could not have been nicer and we will definitely be coming back to the Village Inn next time we stay in Leavenworth.

What we didn't know was what a special place Kathy and Brad had created for their guests. Our adventure started once we headed up a gravel road. At first, we thought we'd take a wrong turn - but no sooner that thought than a sign on a tree, "Mountain Home Lodge 2.2miles." We knew we were on the right track. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sierra and Millie, the MHL doggies. Brad came out with Carlos to say hi, ask if we needed anything- and loaded up our things to take to the cabin. Brad made sure we knew how the things worked, turned on the music, and left us to settle in. The cabin was perfect! Chairs in front of the fireplace, fluffy king-sized bed, large jacuzzi tub, rocking chairs and table on the porch, and a comfy couch in the loft to watch a movie. Small details were not missed - light toiletries, kurieg, and coffee. Blankets on every chair inside and out and plenty of towels. Did I mention the water pressure was awesome!? Around 5:30, we headed to the Lodge for appetizers prepared by Kathy- squash soup shots with crustini, cream cheese, strawberries, and a balsamic glaze. The view was amazing while we munched on our goodies. Kathy and Brad are so friendly and full of easy conversation. After appetizers, we headed back to our cabin and played a couple round of chess - the upstairs hutch had a few games for us to play. We fired up the jacuzzi tub and enjoyed a drink while basking in the mountain. Millie and Sierra stopped by to say goodnight, which we loved being dog people. We sat on the porch with them and watched the sky change from light to dark. In the mornings, there is a delightful breakfast offered. Everything was delicious. Kathy and Brad made lovely recommendations for things to do and food to eat. We were considering a hike, and millie and Sierra offered to come along. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a hike- but we will definitely go with them next time! While we ate breakfast in the lodge, we decided to check out the mountain with the binoculars. I think my husband spent most of his time peering at the mountain with the binoculars at the Lodge and cabin. But like I said, the small touches make this place special. It's definitely a wonderful place to unplug. The quiet, views, and accommodations are amazing. I'm so happy to add Mountian Home Lodge to our not so far- feels like a real vacation getaways.

We JUST got home from MHL…read more My husband and I stayed two wonderful nights there, perched up on the mountain, away from the hustle and bustle of the Oktoberfest celebration going on downtown, but still close enough to walk in or take a cab (we did both) when we wanted to get in on the fun. As parents of a 3 year old and a 1 year old, we have not felt this relaxed in a LONG time. Brad and Kathy have thought of literally everything. Need a wine opener? No problem. Champagne chiller? You got it. Trail maps, walking sticks, snow shoes, movies to watch, games to play.... no problem. It's all there for guests to borrow. We stayed in the Mountain Trout room, which was nicely appointed with a queen bed, super plush carpet, comfy robes, oversized towels, and really nice sheets. As we were lucky enough to squeeze in after someone else canceled, we didn't get our pick of a room, but we didn't mind at all. Included in our rate was a healthy and delicious breakfast made by the lodge chef, using many ingredients harvested from the property. We were also treated to complimentary appetizers and wine in the evenings. It was divine. Brad and Kathy take great pride in the lodge and love to share their knowledge of the local area, from where to have dinner or where to hike. Like another reviewer said; nothing feels fake. You feel like a welcomed guest in a very comfortable setting, and you leave feeling like you have made new friends. A nice touch was the balloons that were in our room upon our arrival. They knew we were there for an anniversary and this was a very sweet gesture. We also found a small bottle of port waiting for us in our room each evening. A typical day was waking up, enjoying the lovely breakfast and views, chatting with the hosts and other guests, hiking the trails immediately behind the lodge (We did the Peshastin Lookout; approximately 5 miles RT and spectacular) with the resident dog "Millie", coming back for a soak in the outdoor hot tub, then walking or driving into downtown for shopping, dinner (if not eating at the lodge), or Oktoberfest shenanigans, then back to the lodge for a game of cards in the media room. Repeat. We would come back to MHL a million times over. 5 stars all the way around. Thank you so very much!

It had a small microwave and a good sized small fridge. There was also a nice oscillating fan which ended up being very important. The room has AC but the air conditioning unit can't really keep up. You can't set the thermostat lower than 70 and the thermometer in the room showed 74-76 most of the time on a day in the mid 80s. Combined with the fan, it was enough to sleep comfortably. I'm unsure what would happen if the temperature rises to the 90s or 100s though. You have to climb stairs to the second floor. The stairs are inside. I'll post a picture of them. There's no elevator and no first floor guest rooms so it's something to know about if this matters to you. The parking lot is right across the pedestrian only street. I might stay there again. My only issue is that I like the room colder than it was, but I think the good fan was a smart touch and I'm glad I didn't have to go ask for one. Other people might be happy with that temperature so I added it to my review. Oh ya, dog friendly!

I noticed there is no smoking out there until after 11am which I thought was nice, but you could the rest of the day. I've never been to a hotel that has adult swim from 10pm-12am, that is wonderful! Most pools just close at 10 which is too early. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature also (both times that we have stayed here). The rooms are clean and nice. I love it when the sink is outside the bathroom...it makes getting ready easier/faster. DVD players are already in the rooms! They have a policy that no one is allowed into your room during your stay, but they have an easy system for requesting more towels etc. if needed. I would definitely stay here again! The price is very reasonable compared to many of the over priced hotels in the area. Wlaking distance to downtown Leavenworth is okay. My 70 year old mother did the walk a few times (& we drove and parked sometimes too which was a pain). It was better to stay downtown than come back and forth as much as possible. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely come again!! Oh and my 13 year old daughter LOVED the hot chocolate machine near the front office (maybe a little too much). ;) orange juice, apple juice, cold water, hot water, tea, coffee, apple cider and hot chocolate were all available 24/7.

Even in the winter and with the fan on we still slept with the window open to cool down. Disappointed that there's no real pet relief areas for this hotel and that we had to take our dog across a main road to a neighbor property with grass just so he can do his business. I will say though the Location is good as it is walking distance from all the Leavenworth restaurants and shops. Also, the continental breakfast was better than most, yummy doughnuts, scrambled eggs, hot sausages with potatoes. I also liked that they had rooftop seating for breakfast so you can take in all the beautiful mountain views . Might stay here again but likely without the pup and hopefully in a less hot room with a bigger bed.

I stayed here to explore some of Eastern Washington, small western towns, a weekend away from the hurly-burly of downtown Redmond (tongue firmly in cheek). The owners have maintained the old-world feel of the Hotel without sacrificing essential amenities (there are showers, radios and wireless internet access). Hoorah! Rusty old Deere tractors stand each side of the hotel, like the wild west equivalent of classic Greek lions. The Lobby has a large dose of the obligatory 'stuffed' animals shot by the locals. Most rooms share bathroom facilities at the end of the corridor. This is not the place to come if you need cable TV, a phone in your room and an en-suite shower. I paid a wee premium to have one of the rooms with an en-suite clawfoot bath. I suspect the owners liked my accent because when I checked-in they gave me a discount on the pre-agreed prIce. The attention to detail was impressive, furniture, beds, baths, sinks, light fittings, all clearly turn of the century or 'in the style of'. Electric lights with fittings that looked 'gas' style.. The hotel has modern air-circulation heating with older radiators still in place. They are beautiful cast iron artifacts. I ran a bath, with my hand under the hot water I waited nearly 15 minutes before the water warmed-up. I remember thif from living in an large old house in the UK where the Hot water tank was so far away from the bath that the it took nearly 20 minutes before the cold water in waiting in the pipes ran through, then the warm water lost it heat while travelling the cold pipes to the bath. It was worth the wait. Plenty of hot-water to fill the large bath and bubble-bath supplied. The hotel owners checked in on the quality of my visit whenever I stopped off in the lobby or shared lounge. Very friendly and helpful. It felt more like a bed and breakfast, a family business, than a hotel. Waterville fits my stereo-type of a small western American town. Houses with big porches, loud dogs, camoflauge painted pick-up trucks. One bar with friendly staff, drunken clientelle (It was Cinco De Mayo), and fancy hand-made burgers. YUM-ME! Not really much to do in the town, but that was exactly what I was looking for.... Why not 5 stars?
