His staff was very efficient and friendly. I was in and out in record time with new glasses ordered! I was delighted when they came in earlier than estimated also... now in the past I've had difficulty getting use to new glasses (trifocals). However it seemed that the transition was quicker and easier. I'm doing well with new set and looking to have my other glass lens updated. Prices were reasonable also!

He was reassuring to me as I had concerns from a prior diagnosis done at a large local eye center where I felt "herded" through and dismissed. This office is so kind, personal and caring. I had the eye exam on 9/3025 and it took until 12/30/25 to actually get the glasses because of her not doing her job correctly. I have gone there about 20+years and this was not the first time she would not bill VSP correctly. I am praying for her because it's very obvious there is something not right in her life. She can destroy Cascade eye center if she doesn't stop her outrageous actions, or maybe she should not work there. It would be nice if she, or someone would at least apologize.

This was fine for me so I went through with the appointment. When it came time to check out I was actually billed $228, when I mentioned I was quoted something much different over the phone, I was told there was nothing they could do and that they don't know who would have said that (which is weird to me considering how small the clinic is). They either need to do a better job coaching their front office staff, or they need to honor what customer has been told to avoid other unfortunate discrepancies resulting in lost clients.

My new one was transplanted by Dr. Oliva on June 4th, 2024 still going strong 6+ months Later. I feel very grateful to have such a skilled professional working on my eyes. He was seen at the medical Eye Center in May and found that he needed cataract surgery. We needed to do that after the six month mark from the heart surgery. So we made an appointment in August one week after the six month mark. The morning of our appointment in August they called and canceled it because we need a clearance from the doctor. I don't know exactly why is it that we could not have been told this in May, June or July? Why so cavalierly waste our time over something that they knew ahead of time they needed? It's not respectful it's not efficient and it's definitely no way to treat people.

He put me in reading glasses when I was a kid to strengthen vision through vision training (which I still wear though the RX occasionally changes) and to this day, I still have 20/15 (yes, better than 20/20)! He's seen members of my family, extended family and friends for years. He is compassionate, a true medical professional and takes your eye health very serious - and he has quite the sense of humor! It is a small, single doctor private practice but I feel better going there than a big box store where they just want to make a buck.
