Lots of designer labels, but my only go to are Ray Bans because they never go out of style. Claire said hello to me, and let me look at the different frames. Found a pair with polarized lens, and was set...class Wayfarers. Claire was friendly, in fact the whole staff is friendly, which is why I came up here. Oh I also needed an eyeglass strap for my prescriptions, and they had a purple one...score! Great shop to come to for you sunglass needs. It was great to drive back without the sun glaring down on me!

Thank god they were able to fix them and they fit better than before. I went back a month later to get 2 pair of Ray Bans for Birthday gifts. I bought myself 1 pair of Aviators and within 2 weeks I kicked my purse over and they fell to the floor and scratched right in the line of sight. I brought them back to see if there was any repair that could be done. I spoke to Jerrie the manager and she went above and beyond to make me a very happy customer. Apparently this practice sold to another entity (VSP) and I would encourage all to find eye care, elsewhere. In December I purchased two sets of glasses using two different insurances. The frame on one pair broke so I went in to request repair or replacement under the one year warranty I was told I had. I was shocked to be told only the second pair of glasses had that warranty and replacing this frame would cost $160. Exact same frames. How convenient that this pair wasn't covered?! When I stated that was something I would need to discuss with Dr. Mitchell I was told "Nothing Dr. Mitchell can do, the new owners set the rules." Dr. Mitchell seems to have sold out to corporate folks and the small town customer service with integrity is gone. Extremely disappointing but I encourage others to spend their money elsewhere. I certainly will ultimately cost this business more than the $160 that should have been honored.

I couldn't find anyone to examine me on short notice and buy glasses but I eventually found Eyemart Express. Previously used them in 2007 and received excellent service from the optometrist and nice (but expensive) cheap plastic glasses. I went elsewhere since then because Eyemart does not have the newest equipment that utilizes a high speed camera. Therefore each time I visit Eyemart Express they have to dilute my eyes which is an inconvenience and causes me to delay or call off work because it takes half a day for my eyes to return to normal. I was able to get in Thursday morning and the optometrist is still very professional and friendly. Unfortunately diluted my eyes again but it was quick and easy exam. Once done I went to the service area to pick the cheapest ones available since my insurance covers very little. The gentleman at first seemed to be steering me towards expensive glasses because of fit, I explained my situation and he took a look at options and was able to get me two glasses with polycarbonate lenses. One standard and one sunglasses with polarized and anti glare lenses. He gave me the price with insurance and without and it was obvious the glasses are cheaper without insurance. I went that route and had the pair within two hours to be able to go back to work same day. Very happy and satisfied experience. I may go back and get another pair with anti glare for night driving because newer cars and new bulbs for headlights are designed to be much brighter and cause more glare especially when people are driving with high beams on more without respect to the drivers coming from the other direction. Overall satisfied experience with Eyemart Express and I recommend them.

Never once was I told I was paying for a warranty which is $30 extra. I only noticed when I got home. I'm disgusted by the service. The employee was like a used car salesman. Raylee was working and she explained that she would try but if they broke I would need to order a new frame. I was so worried because my Mom can only see out of one eye now and Visionworks had put a special lens in these glasses because she's color blind in the good eye. She needs them to see at all. Raylee took her time and was able to straighten them and she also put new nose pads on them. When she gave the repaired glasses back to me in a new case I started to cry. I told him it had done it right away but they didn't believe me so they said sorry. So I will never go back and I recommend you don't either. They should have at least given me a 50% credit. They probably could have sent it back to the manufacturer and they would have taken care of it but they didn't even try.
