I wanted to try this nail shop because of all of the positive 5 star reviews I had seen here on Yelp prior to visiting. Some guy with tattoos did my pedicure which came out good. He was conversational which was a plus. Eh. I honestly felt that my full set session was "rushed". I understand that they can get busy sometimes, but really? Nail technician Kim was very pleasant, but she could have slowed down just a notch or two on my nails. I had even voiced my concern to her about rushing...what she told me was that she has been doing nails for 20 years...and blah blah blah. Kim also did my eyebrows very well too. Long story short. This was my first time at Eagle Nails and I'm thinking this would be my last. My total for everything came up to $75 including tips. That was $75 well spent yes if Kim had slowed down just a bit and paid attention to detail while working on my full set. Then maybe I would have left a 5 star review. ************************************* Update 02/23/16. One of my fingernails became infected(picture is posted on this Yelp page). Nail technician named Kim knew this, but she still placed an acrylic on it. long story short 2 days after I had seen her my acrylic started to lift. Went to another nail place close to home to have the acrylic removed...tried getting my money back from them and my bank...processed failed. But that's ok. I had learned my lesson. I won't be going back to Eagle Nails again! These good reviews that I read prior to going are either crap, or employees posting them! I was them told that if I wasn't excellent top of the line mail service then to go to a spa...I may have to pay a pretty penny out of pocket, but that is what I would prefer to pay for good service. I don't see myself going to these Asian nail salons anymore because at the end of the day most of them just care about the money. They don't care about the quality of service towards their customers which can go a very long way. Your best bet ladies is an actual upscale spa...or a woman who does nails independently which I had found about 3 of them in the DFW area thus far. Peace.

I actually decided on a full set of acrylics with white tips. He did a very good job & they were thin, like I love them & he did so, without me asking. Needless to say, I was very pleased with my nails. The pedicure was good as well. He really worked my in-grown nails. It was simple & I didn't want anything special. I just needed my feet to feel good afterwards & look good with clear, regular polish. There were only 2 things that I didn't care for: 1. The fact that I have to pay extra if I wanted to have my cuticles pushed back & 2. That he used a kitchen utensil in order to buff my feet (that thing REALLY hurt ). Other than that, I will be back to give it a second go around.

The place wasn't to pack but when I sat down the people started coming in. The initial impression, it's not a new establishment so none of the glitter and glam. I was seated in a older chair and it appeared to be sanitized. She opened new tools and begin to get my feet together. The color choices are many you just have to ask for what you want. The only thing this place is lacking is a glass of wine and soothing music. Glad I tried it out. I would come back if I'm in the area again.

Upon reading my original review, she reached out immediately (I didn't even make it to the soak off appointment I had made for the same day) offering a partial refund and to redo my mani/pedi. I went in the next day to get my nails redone and I cannot emphasize how great my experience was. Masiel is an absolutely incredible nail tech, taking her time and paying extreme attention to detail. My baby toenail is almost nonexistent and she not only painted it, but French tipped it!!!! My original pedicure wasn't even French tipped, she just offered to do it since I mentioned I'd never had them before! I was astounded. On top of being skilled and knowledgeable, she is funny and friendly. The tech who did my services originally, apologized, and mentioned that she's working with Veronica to make sure whatever happened before, doesn't happen again. I was so touched by how everyone cares so much about their customers and the work they do. My previous review stated I wouldn't give this business any more money, a statement which I now HEAVILY retract. I would 100% return here because if something were to go wrong, I know they would bend over backwards to fix the problem and make sure I'm satisfied as a customer. In the few times I've been in, there have been multiple regulars around me who all seem right at home in the salon, on first name basis with the other techs and employees. If I lived in Dallas, I would definitely make this my regular salon too.

It's nice to have a nice spot to have services done in the neighborhood, and I don't know if this…read morewas just a "me thing" or if everyone who comes here has experienced this. I walked in and was greeted immediately, I checked in on the tablet and was asked about the service I was wanting. Now I wasn't handed a menu and there wasn't a board with services and prices so I told the guy, I wanted a pedicure. He went on to say there's a $35, $45, and the price kept going up but what I wasn't being told is what all comes with the service. I finally picked the $45 and was lead to the polishes to pick a color. Once my color was picked I was directed to take a seat. The guy who came to provide my service put a weighted pillow around my neck and started the service. However I realized quickly he didn't speak very much English as I kept telling him "I'm diabetic" as I needed him to know the importance of not cutting me or using any sharp instruments on my feet (yes I'm talking about that cheese grater folks like to use). A lady came by and offered me a drink. One again, no menu so I had to ask what was available. When my pedicure was done I was told to sit and let dry however as I looked at my toes, I saw things that didn't sit well with me. The polish looked lumpy, the paint job was messy, and I had place where you can see where skin had been clipped. So I called someone over cause my guy was gone and I asked about this. She brought someone else over who took the polish off and redid the painting however they also left before the top coat was applied so I had I'm assuming one of the managers finish the job. I went during their "Mother's Day special" but I guess that didn't get applied but once again lesson learned. It's a nice clean spot however I can't say I felt that I got what I paid for. I hate that this was my experience as I was hoping for something closer to home so I didn't have to drive across town for a decent pedicure. However for me, this wasn't it.
