I walked in here today in BAD MOOD! My normal optimistic completely let me down one to many times today so I decided to check out this place by my house. I called before I arrived to make sure they accepted my insurance and sure enough they do. And even better, the woman asked for my info over the phone so that when I come in everything is already ready to go. I came in in not a good mood but the woman stuck it out with me and never got an attitude with me and just helped me the best she could. I was quiet surprised. Dr. Lieu looked into my eyes and could tell that my life was less stressful this year than last year!! He's got the most expensive machine that scans your retina and he was able to see that the tiny blood vessels in my eye looked more relaxed than last year due to lower blood pressure etc. Great stuff! Dr. Lieu is very friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with. The office is very clean. Appointments are very easily made and they have had next day or next week spots open for those of us who make last minute appts. I have never had to wait-which is awesome! The only negative I would say would be the pricey glasses.....but we will run into that anywhere I suppose. But, a better selection of frames under $150 would be nice. :-) read more

I came here because it's close to my house. I made an appointment for my husband and I, which we only had to wait a couple of minutes for Dr. Lieu. He appeared to be a combination of egotistical, yet competent. My husband and I both purchased our prescription glasses here, which was quite expensive even though they were not brand names (this is with insurance). My husband also got contact lenses, in which he had to discard after a week of use since they were not as accurate and comfortable as his previous prescription. We love where the optometry is located since it's close to home and in a nice little plaza, but I'm sure there is another place near home that is better. read more

I was recommended to Eagle Glen by a parent at my daughters school. I've brought my family here for the last 5 years. It seems to me that they get better with age. Dr. Tony is patient and knowledgable. He has an easy manner with adults and kids. His assistant Anthony is courteous and efficient. The front office staff Lana and Richard know their game backwards and forwards. In the last two years I have seen significant improvement in their eyeglass inventory. This summer my daughter got contacts and the care and training she received was excellent. Mary Ann made sure she knew what to do. They understand my quirky family and our quirkier insurance. I love Dr. Lieu and would not trust my eyes (or my kids eyes) to anyone else! I don't even live in corona anymore and I still make the drive from Rancho to our appts. He is so thorough, making sure that not only can I see but that my eyes are comfortable, that I am not having headaches and my eyes are healthy on the inside. He helps me problem solve when I tell him of the new changes in my eye sight. I am no stranger to eye doctors and have been in their offices since the second grade when I was fitted with my very first pair of very thick glasses! I now wear daily contacts which I love. Dr Lieu has tried so many different pairs on me. He would always listen and care about how they fit in my eyes. Sometimes he would give me a trial pair and let me wear them home. Then he would call me and ask about the comfort and fit. My eyes are complicated but I feel like he really takes his time with me. I have been going to Eagle Glen Optometry for many years, but sadly made the decision to seek another office. I love Dr. Lieu and the staff is friendly and nice, but there are so many there have been too many inconveniences over the years and I am ready to move on. I have had my prescription ordered wrong twice, my frames were adjusted terribly and bent (when I took them to sunglass hut they said they were horribly mis shapen and adjusted wrong), I have been mis quoted on my out of pocket, and have not gotten call backs for days. This is a great group of people, but maybe some training is an order. read more

I would highly recommend Dr. Lieu at Eagle Glen Optometry. I took my infant daughter in for an infant screening and was very nervous to see how it would go, picturing my baby screaming the entire time. As soon as we walked in, the staff was helpful and welcoming, asking me about my daughter and quickly getting me through the process of filling out the paperwork. They also had a toy bucket that she could play with, which was so helpful. Dr. Lieu came out and just blew away any sort of expectations I had. He got down to my daughter's level and talked to her and made the whole experience positive. He listened to my concerns about my own eye sight and provided me with information and potential things we could do. He wasn't pushy at all, but let me know my options. Our family of four have been coming here for years and we love it! From the awesome staff and doctor, to the flexible hours, and convenient location, it all works for us. We come here for our annual checkups and new glasses. I love that we can find glasses affordable enough to use the credit we have from our insurance without having to pay large out of pocket expenses. I also appreciate that extras, like scratch resistance etc., are offered but we never feel pressured to buy. Always parking available, never long wait time to see the doctor, and my kids love it here. Dr. Tony is one of the most caring optometrists I have been to. I have had diabetes for 53 years and he gives me a diabetic eye exam and I have a lot of confidence in him to take care of my eyes. He has been there for my husband and myself, even before they closed, he took care of us, with no problem of him staying late. The staff is great and will always make you feel like you are special.
