The food was ok, not terrible but also not great diner food. The home fries were bland and the bacon was soggy. My son had French toast and that was probably the best dish that was ordered. There's other diners in the area id prefer to go to. Also, the guy seating everyone had his sleeve cutoff and his armpit and what looked like, a new tattoo exposed. Had an amazing lunch this week at the Eagle Diner. My wife had a wonderful croissant sandwich with shrimp salad, and I enjoyed a terrific (healthy) turkey burger. absolute turn off after the meal ; we went to the diner thrusday night around 7 I believe, give it take a few minutes. Manager or owner ,glasses and dark( receding)hair was at the register, we had one customer ahead of us , waiting to pay . This manager , owner whatever took it upon himself to berate his staff who were standing near the front .He engaged in a conversation for a good few minutes. there was talk of training and schedules and other talk. " a time and a place " really rings loud here .that moment with customers watching , listening was not the time . talking down to a young woman , in front of us ,wrong , and holding up the line , also wrong . I'm in shock. I have been a loyal customer. I received a raw burger. It was completely raw in the middle. I ordered medium well. The Eagle Diner is hands down one of my favorite diners ever. (Especially in the Montgomery County/Bucks County area). I've been in the Warrington/Warminster areas before but the first time I came here was in December 2010, nearly 10 years ago!! I remember it was a Friday night at the start of my Freshman year of high school and my family came here to celebrate after running some errands in the area. I remember exactly what I got, the chicken fingers parmesan sandwich with a lemonade! That is iconic because it got me hooked on chicken parmesan which is now my favorite food! (Of course, I realized later it was chicken fingers instead of the usual chicken parmesan but it didn't make any difference to me they are both awesome). To this day it is still my favorite kind of chicken parmesan sandwich!! A few places have come close but it's very hard to top the OG sandwich from Eagle Diner. The parking is a bit small and it is always crowded whenever we go but it's worth it. The staff I've met are always pleasant, the prices are great too! I've been here a few times in the previous 10 years (we live 40 minutes away in Souderton so we're not always in the area) but when we do come I know exactly what I'll get and it's an awesome experience each time! read more

WEIRD EXTRA charge to ladel creamed chipped beef onto potatoes along with the toast. Thought it was a mistake, like an extra side. No joke. This was an extra charge. Server said to talk to manager. He was a tad arrogant probably because he could not explain the charge. A manager worth his salt would have given it a thought or two, at least explain the charge. Poor customer service! Went to dinner yesterday and they were busy. Waited awhile for waitress, placed our order for drinks and then dinner. I order 1/2 roasted chicken. When dinner was served I broke off leg and it was pink and ice cold. Sent it back for further cooking. They made a whole new piece that arrived after friend had finished her dinner. In the meantime I filled up on the salad bar and took extra. When the chicken arrived I was no longer hungry or did I want to eat alone. I packed up my food and went to car while my friend paid. When she came out an employee followed saying my bill went from $26.00 to $48..00. They said they were charging me for the salad bar. The owner then came out being nasty. He told me to bring the food back if I didn't pay. He also threatened to call the police. There were no adjustment or accommodation for the poor service and uncooked food. I've been here to eat many times in the past year. I like some things better than others. I find the salad bar to be fantastic, as is their beef brisket. For me, everything else is just ok. Not a fan of their hamburgers. The french fries are overcooked- dark and hard, as are their pancakes. Overcooked and dark on one side, good on the other- go figure! Their corned beef is horrible. Ordered a corned beef sandwich, expecting it to be a similar version of a typical NY deli sandwich. It was bad! The meat was tough and tasted like bologna. If you are looking for a real corned beef sandwich, do yourself a favor, go to Pumpernicks! Their scrambled eggs are always wet and runny. If you ask for "well done", you'll get one big piece of brownish eggs. Not a fan. Their pork roll is too thick- definitely not Taylor brand. Their desserts are good. Depending who slices the cakes, you can get a nice piece, or a mere sliver. Regardless the size, the price will be the same. This place is the place to go for breakfast. We decided to try dinner. Well we were not impressed. The fried chicken was over done. I picked up a piece and the coating fell off the chicken. There was no flavor to the coating. Also the fish & chips were a joke. Fish should come in ONE whole piece of fish and beer battered. Not four tinny pieces rolled in flour. They were dry as bone. The menu is too vast there is NO WAY... anything on that menu is made fresh. I'm sure more than half this food is made ahead of time then nuked. I went there today and ordered a Corned beef sandwich. I asked for Russian dressing and not Cole slaw. I was given a Ruben instead. An open face corned beef with enough cheese on it to clog anyone's arteries. I was willing to eat it at first because i was there to celebrate my brother in law's 60 Birthday. It tasted like the salt flats. I asked for them to take it back and off the check. The guy that seats you, i guess he was the owner took an attitude with me. and when I told him that i was a customer and I should not be treated like this. I am fairly new to this diner, as I have visited 3 times. I LOVE it here, always love a good diner and this is one of the best I've been to in a long time. To begin with, the staff at this diner were all very friendly from the moment we walked in to the time we left. The salad bar is awesome. Not many diner's have salad bars any longer. But it wasn't just salads, soup and puddings too. The meal portions are good and quite tasty. I am an American Legion Auxiliary, and I certainly noticed the plaque on their wall from the United States Marines and the flag in their diner, as the gentleman with the wonderful smile behind the counter took great pride in displaying. What a dump..was there earlier this evening with my daughter and grandson. Waited over an hour for our food..matzoh balls in soup from salad bar were rotten..when food finally came, my grandson's pancakes with Oreos were thrown together, based on what he has had there before. My chicken was dry, stuffing cold and tasteless. At the register, the owner was very rude and said we weren't waiting an hour because he checked the cameras. Eagle Diner on Street Road, Warminster, PA, is a traditional Greek food emporium with broad multi-page menu covering all three meals, plus a significant salad bar. It is open 24/7. The only thing missing is a counter with stools for those who prefer that old line dining experience, like me. I stopped in for diner last weekend, hoping for a good meal for this solitary traveler. I had to wait about 15 minutes for a table, as the place was SRO when I arrived around 6 pm. A stool at a counter would have eliminated the wait, but I did not mind standing in the entrance area and observing all the scurry from the staff. It also gave me the chance to check out the cakes, pies and other bakery goods made on premises. Certainly did not hurt my appetite. I was eventually shown to a table in the back, and handed the short novelette menu. So much food; so little time. I chose their meatloaf mini dinner, with mashed and cup of soup or salad bar. I grazed over the greens for a while and returned with a full plate of various salad components. It wasn't a stunningly broad spread, and a lot of it was processed and not fresh, but it still provided many colors and flavors that worked well on top of a lettuce base. Three bean salad, beets, red onion, macaroni and potato salad, baby spinach, pickled everything, cheesebread and 1,000 Island dressing, kept me munching while waiting for the mains. When my entre arrived, I was confronted by two huge slices of baked/grilled beef loaf and a dish of white mashed, with brown gravy on the side. The meat was tender and tasty, but better with a jet of ketchup, than the brown sauce (a bit salty). The slices were about 1.5 inches thick. I couldn't finish the meal. Absolutely no room for the luscious looking desserts. At a price around $10., the value was evident in every bite. I'm told Eagle does a good job for breakfast, too. Next time I'm in the area that time of day, I'll stop in again to check it out. read more

OMG. Was starving and saw this place. Stopped in and glad we did. OMG. I had the L&O, fantastic. Not thrilled with the sweet potatoes (mostly because they were "candied"). Not bad tasting just not my thing. my husband and I really enjoy Eagle diner. The reason for 3 stars is that when we recently went we had a gift card. We were told that the military discount could not be used with the gift card. I did not argue as they have the right to set the rules. What I don't understand is a gift card is the same as cash. It is not a discount card , it is a GIFT card given as a present to someone. The quality of the food here is unbelievably low. . would not recommend this place to anyone. Chicken cheese steak must've been cooked on the dirtiest grill it had all the burnt grill stuff mixed into the meat. Chicken quesadilla was filled with chicken on only half of the quesadilla... and the burger ... I don't even know if that meat is legal to sell in the US. I would give zero stars if I could. My family and I were just stopping somewhere quick to eat but this place was a horrible experience, I should've picked anywhere but here. Before we even sat the manager or owner (not sure) was incredibly rude to his staff which immediately makes me not like a restaurant. Then we were sat and almost all of our food was missing items or was just unappetizing. My waitress was a sweet young girl with long dark hair (forget her name) and none of it was her fault, I honestly felt bad she even had to work in this environment.
