I always used to go to the Eagle Diner when I had the chance. My last visit will be my last. The new staff looks a message, they all look like the rolled out of bed. The one manager looked all disheveled and the other manager had on jeans and cowboy books. Our food was terrible, asked for no sauce, but they cooked the chicken. In sauce and when it was sent back they rinsed the chicken. And added cheese on top. I guess they thought I wouldn't notice unheated cheese and mushy chicken breading. The waitress nor manager offered no discount as I ate my salad. This restaurant used to be great and I see it is almost a whole new staff and obviously no one cares. What a shame on the dimise of a once great diner. read more

Can't beat the Eagle for a good family style meal. Their salad bar is very good the mini dinners are a great bargain as is their business lunch specials. Fast service never had a problem with food. Nice diner all arpund read more

For a diner, this place is amazing! Their salad bar is SO good! (I recommend the pasta salad) You can tell that a lot of the food on the salad bar is homemade and that's what I love most about it. The service is good as well. read more

Our family has dined at Eagle Diner for years.....not any more (due to the 2 male owners being extremely rude and unprofessional)! My daughter and I ate breakfast there on August 26th. Our waitress was extremely nice, polished and prompt. I ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes. She asked if I wanted to order a side of meat. I asked if a side of meat came with the pancakes; she answered yes. So I ordered a side of bacon. When we received our bill, there was a $2.75 charge for bacon. I questioned her about this and she said it was an error and would have it taken off the bill. She returned and said that bacon is extra and she was not aware of the extra charge, as she was a new waitress, so she admitted she made a mistake, but the owner would NOT take the charge off the bill. She said she even explained her mistake to her boss and he still would not take the amount off the bill. When I went to pay at the register, I explained what happened to the cashier and she was going to take the $2.75 off the bill as she manually subtracted $2.75 from the bill. Then a young girl (another cashier) came up next to the cashier and told her she could not take the amount off the bill. She then yelled over to the younger male owner, referencing the bacon charge and he told me he was not taking the amount off the bill. He said "where do you get meat included for breakfast??" I explained the conversation the waitress and I had and he then proceeded to tell me that she did not tell me it was included, that I was wrong." I told him I specifically asked if the meat was included and she told me it was. He again repeated she did not tell me this and I was wrong. The cashier then gave me change and she did not deduct the $2.75; she said "he's the boss." The older gray haired man, who has been there for years came over and heard the conversation and supported the man who I was talking to. I told them both I was going to write a review of how unprofessional and rude they were and then they both raised there voices to me, while there was a line of guests waiting to be seated and told me to "write the review....we don't care." It is a shame, as their breakfast food is decent. As noted in previous reviews, they talk down to their employees. I told the waitress what happened and that both men did not believe me and she said they are always rude to their staff. I told her that she was too polished and her skill set was too good for that diner and to find another waitress job elsewhere. It was not about not affording the $2.75; it is about the principle of customer service and their lacking of such and manners. read more

Dinner on a Tuesday night, how bad can it be? Well this diner failed in every aspect. first the floors are dirty, our table was sticky. we were seated without and napkins or utensils. then it took the waitress 20 minutes to acknowledge us as it was so bad the cashier came over to take our drink orders. they failed to clear the table during the meal, the salad bar was a mess and the bread was stale. save your money and go anywhere else but here. Dirty, lousy service, mediocre food and overall a truly bad experience awaits you read more

My boyfriend and I were excited to try this place out. We were seated right away. However, once we got to our seats we were not helped. We waited fifteen minutes before getting up leaving. I had never gone to a resultant and not given immediate attention. When we left there must have been 11 employee smoking out back. We will never waste our time here again. If you're looking for breakfast on street rd go to warminster west diner. That's where we went once we left and it was a great experience. read more

The best diner in the area!!! Food, service, and the prices can't be beat. Our service was very nice and friendly. Dinner was excellent. The salad bar came with the meal, and oh my goodness, it is a big salad bar. I ordered the grill chicken dinner, and it was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the lasagna and was extremely satisfied. Great food, great service! read more

Friendly staff, reasonable prices and large amounts of food. Had dinner and breakfast there and both were outstanding.

Overall the fare here is very affordable. However, today our watress was terrible! She fogot our drinks and got our order wrong, and then reprimanded us for it. Needless to say, we left no tip. read more

My favorite place eat.. Has the best salad bar in the area. Have dinner specials for $11.99 that include salad bar, drink and dessert. The food is good and portions are good size too. The salad bar alone, which includes soup, is $7.25 and with their big plates is a meal in itself. The staff and waiters are always pleasant and helpful. I recommend you stop in for a visit. read more

Ok if you are looking for something quick. just be careful sometimes there is plastic or hair in the food. The salad bar sometimes isn't the freshest. But the management are quick to resolve any issues. read more

Decor is dated and feels dirty, especially the carpets. Unfriendly hostess put 2 menus on table near toilets and left w/o a word...there were plenty of available tables near the window. Asked other hostess to move us and she was no friendlier but did move us to window. Waitress very nice but reeked of cigarette smoke. Food just ok...soup was very good though. Would not eat there again. This place could be great with the right staff and decor as it is in a great location. read more

Food sucked, and the place was not well kept. there were crumbs all over the floor, as well as a set of table and chairs that were sticky.

As anyone who lives in the Doylestown/Warminster area knows, Eagle Diner is pretty much the only 24 hour place you can go to get a "nice" meal. This evening, I was craving a nice breakfast meal around 9:30pm. Unfortunately, IHOP was closed, so I decided to test my luck at Eagle Diner. I do not recommend. Though you can't go wrong with some nice eggs over easy, you CAN go wrong with hash browns and sausage (if you would call it that). Fearing for my life, I refused to try the discolored, undercooked meat and the potatoes were clearly leftovers from earlier in the day. I believe the cook was doubling as a waiter, making the service UNBELIEVABLY slow. Although he seemed to be friendly enough, he was truly DRIPPING sweat (which I feared may have transferred into my food - no exaggeration). Honestly, I suppose I got what I should expect at a 24-hour diner in Warminster. For all reading this, I recommend you get a hearty dinner and eat the leftovers when you are craving something in the late hours of the night. read more

Warminster resident for 15 years, and been going to the Eagle occasionally since 2001. Stopped in for an evening fast dinner. Place is clean, staff is pleasant and courteous and we were seated fast and as we asked for - in a booth. The bad part was the food. The chicken fingers were hot but not cooked thouroughly - doughy coating. The fries were oily. The Burger I asked for as medium was well-done more closer to burned. and the Chicken Salad was too salty. For 2 sandwiches and kids chicken fingers it too 25 mins to be served. Again, the waitress was great and the staff was helpful. Yet one staff member decided to literally vacuum the 3 booths around us and then directly under our table in the middle of our meal. We all felt poorly that night and realized our food was most likely to blame. I remember when Eagle was far better at food. I appreciate our waitress and hostess. Would return if absolutely required to eat - but, will consider other diners first in the future. read more

A lot of people will tell you to ignore posts on sites like Yelp because reviewers are more inclined to share negative experiences over positive experiences. However, reading the reviews for this diner it seems the positive outweighs the negative, which frankly surprises me. I went to this diner the second time today since it's around the corner from me and while the first experience from a week back was fine, good food, friendly, respectable service, etc., this evening I was cursed with an old hag with the social skills of a tapeworm. She seemed irritated, snappy and careless. The dishes were dirty at the salad bar - the bowl I chose for my soup had crust all over it, but I decided to wing it anyway. But that's no matter, it's the waitress that ticked me off. When I approached the manager or whatever stooge was up at the counter and repeatedly complained about the rude waitress, he either didn't understand what I said, which I find unlikely as I repeated it to him three times, slowly, or he intentionally pretended as though he couldn't hear me. I got no response whatsoever. Bottom line: decent food, if unclean and unsanitary, but what you're really playing roulette with is the service in this dump. My suggestion: avoid. read more
