One of Olympia staples for a good burger! I prefer this location over the Tumwater one, I feel like it is cheaper in price and the staff are SO NICEEE. the woman who takes your order is always very sweet and is one reason I prefer this location. The food is always freshly made and delicious and on a hot summer day I always crave a good burger from them and a milkshake. If you want a good old fashion burger this is the place to go! A recommendation of mine is the Corndog, they are fried fresh and that's exactly like one you'd get from a fair. I really enjoy this place and recommend it to everyone. read more

Been twice when they closed 15-30 minutes before their posted hours. Their food is far inferior and less friendly than Eastside Big Tom's who will get all of our business even though we live under a mile from Eagen's read more

We like to support small business's so we passed up Red Robin and made our way back to this small and not very well kept hamburger stand to buy lunch. We will never spend our money at this place again. The service was terrible. The prices were extreamly high for everything. We ordered 2 deluxe cheese burgers, a large fry, a small fry and 1 shake: Our bill was $45.07. The burger patty was SOOOO thin, SOOOO hard with a lot of gristle & it did not even seem to be freshly cooked. The lettuce, tomato & bun on the burger was fresh & as was the frys. But the prices they charge here are for a sit down burger & fry meal at a restaurant. They ask you if you want fry sauce & ketchup & how much you want but what they dont tell you is that they are going to charge you for it. I saw the sign on the window so I asked & thank goodness I did ask. They allow 4 ketchup for the large fry & 3 for the small fry for free then they will charge you for the additional packets & fry sauce - if you want 6 small packets of ketchup per fry. I asked if they charge extra for extra napkins and thankfully they didnt!! Maybe thats a charge they will add next time???? Do yourself a favor & spend your money at a sit down restaurant instead of at this drive through where they will nickle & dime you to death & they are not even nice or kind to customers. read more

This used to be THE SPOT. They used to be reasonably priced, and have good food. Unfortunately, they don't take cash unless you've paid $10... What do they even have here that's less than $10? The service is mid. They're not personal at all. I miss the teenagers who weren't stingy & gave you large ice cream cones with a smile. The taped over menu shows nothing but insane prices for cheap food you could buy at Walmart. Please lower price and stop being stingy lol!! read more

Eagan's Westside Drive-Inn - Updated Menu - Fast Food Near Me - Olympia, Washington

From what I've heard, it seems like a lot of young people (elementary-college aged) see Eagan's as an Olympia staple, but even when it comes to fast food, it doesn't hit the mark for me. We ordered 2 burgers, 2 onion ring orders, and 2 small twist cones. The total with tip was $27 which felt a bit pricey. The line was kind of long but it took about 15 minutes from the time we waited in line and ordered to getting our food which was a lot longer than wxp Eagan's burgers come with pickles and their staple "goop". (I believe goop is mayo with a bit of mustard mixed in.) Pretty bland. Our onion rings were in the fryer for way too long. Both of our orders came out hard, dark brown, and there didn't seem to be any seasoning at all. The ice cream was great but it wasn't any better than other fast food soft serve options. I wouldn't come back here again read more

Very high priced fir just a drive - by burger place. Yes the food is good but I def. am not paying that price. If you are looking for a good burger ,fries ,ect pretty much the same thing and don't mind a few miles got to Eagan's in Tumwater. Prices are cheaper. read more

Something has changed. Swung in for a burger and shake. Prices seemed much higher. Definitely didn't look like my burger was cooked to order I saw them take an already cooked burger out and warm it up to assemble my burger. Burger tasted old. So sad as I remember great burgers from here. Hopefully they can turn it around. read more

I only got a burger and fries. Both were alright. I'm happy my shake was nice and thick, exactly how I believe a shake should be made and served. Service a little slow l. Not sure if it was busy because of the service or because it good. My boyfriend loves the goup sauce which was just alright to me. Tasted like a mayo mustard mix. read more

I've been once, and that was enough. There's better options in the area. Try Herfey's, or Buzz's for better quality and flavor.

I was looking for a new burger place to eat . Saw this place listed not far from me , so I decided to give it a go. I was a little is appointed about the the burger and fries . Don't really feel like tell what I git since , I it was a let down. I talked to a friend about this place an they liked what the got and compared it to Hasty freeze or Dicks. Maybe I will have to try some other time. read more

Same great menu and food as the Tumwater location. Can be a little slow due to how the drive up works, although I got thru fairly quick on a week day about 2pm Perhaps it's a sign of the times but I was surprised/shocked at the price of a burger and pop. $16? It's about twice what I expected. Yikes! read more

The food is outstanding. The owners are kind and hardworking. I believe they run it by themselves. It's a very rare thing to have an old time burger drive in stand that keeps their values up, as does this Eagans. I'm extreme thankful that they are there and the owners take so much pride in keeping it as an old time burger stand and not changing things. Children and grandchildren will get to experience what a REAL old time burger stand was like, if you go to this Eagan's. Tom's used to be like that, but they changed with the times. Thank you, Eagans burger stand for your delicious meals and treats. read more

I ordered a jumbo corn dog, small tater tots, and small ice tea. It was so good. I didn't order a hamburger, next time, but love the fact that it's fresh ground beef and not frozen. The people were friendly and kind. I will be back. read more

Not as good as it used to be. Pretty solid, goop still super good, tater tots and fries are the same as always, but prices increased and the burgers are up to $9 each and mediocre. read more

Disappointed 3 times in a row. 1. Tater tots were served as one large lump 2. Onion rings made from chopped onions 3. I drove to Eagan's for an ice cream shakes for me and my wife. Charged $15 for two shakes. My favorite grilled cheese ever. Reminds me of my childhood. The lady who is there every time I go remembers me and is kind to me. I wish I knew her name. I look forward to seeing her. Great grilled cheese and great customer service. Prices have increased but just be aware of that. read more

What happened to our beloved West side Eagan's? The menu is similar to what it was but the prices are now sky high! After paying $22 for a drive-in three piece fish and chips, they are stingy with condiments. A simple two patty hamburger meal with fries is more than $18! Eagan's is just a drive in. I can get a better burger - loaded with the works including fries or a salad - at numerous places where u can sit down & be served your food for the same price or less. I would think a sit down restaurant would have a much higher overhead than a small drive through. Eagan's ! Please reduce your prices to a more realistic level. read more

A friend of mine told me the food was good, but a bit slow. So I went on a day that I wasn't in a rush. It was about a 20 minute wait for me. I got a Burger, tots & ranch. They charged me $15.25, which if you add up the prices on their menu....my order would not equal $15.25. Upon reading reviews, I see this is pretty normal for them. So strange that they seem to just charge whatever they want? My food was pretty decent though. I feel fortunate after reading some of these reviews! read more

I went last Saturday to the Westside location because Eastside Big Tom was closed due to a staffing shortage. Big mistake! I have been living out of state for over 3 years, so while visiting here, I couldn't wait to go to Big Toms. We had eaten at the easide location the week prior, and it was as excellent as I remembered. I am assuming the westside Big Toms has changed ownership. First, it cost $80 and change for 2 Big Tom Burgers, 2 cheeseburgers, 2 large fries, 2 small fries, plus 8 goops. We had no drinks. The goop was a different color and did not taste like the Eagans goop. The fries were overcooked and not good quality or flavor. The burger was okay, not good. I expected nothing less than excellent that Big Toms has always delivered. The worst part was that within minutes of partially eating my meal, I became violently ill. This only happens to me if I eat food that has MSG or some other additive that my body can't handle. I was sick the remainder of the day. This location should not be allowed to use the Eagan Big Tom name. They are a disgrace! This place deserves zero stars. read more

Not the same owners and over charging. So sad because I use to love to come here and get a ice cream cone, burger or fries. I should have known something was up when it was super slow the whole time we were at the splash park. The sign said $10 minimum for a card!? Won't be back and I would be surprised if they make it a another year. Go anywhere else. read more

Don't go here It took 25 minutes to place my order and wait for a grilled tuna fish sandwich - which left me barely enough time to get back to work. 12 bucks for one bacon cheese burger? With no fries, no drink? Beef isn't that expensive wholesale! This place has become a ripoff since the new owners took over. Ridiculous high prices for lower quality ingredients. Not someplace I will go again. read more

Paid $18 for a cheeseburger and small fries! I felt totally ripped off, I will definitely not be going back!

For the food and quality of the food we received it was way too expensive and not worth what I paid for it. Tried them because it was the first place we seen going towards home and never again. Truly disappointing read more

Giving 4 stars as is favorite burger place in town. But tried to call in order a couple times around 530 as knew it was closing soon. No answer. So we went there directly to try to make it. We were 4 minutes before closing, and they said all they could make was french fries,or something fast, and closed the window before we could continue conversation. Understand that working this type of customer service is hard, and especially around closing time you want to get out of there. but would like to suggest that food is available until last minute. read more

This is the slowest, over priced drive-thru I've ever experienced in all my years. It truly is an experience I to never wish to have again. I got stuck between cars and had to finish the long ass journey from order to eating. Frodo had a faster trip to Mordo. If you have all the time in the world, enjoy your wasted time here. read more

Today was an occasion for my family and we decided to finally get Eagan's for ourselves, since it is supposed to be an Olympia "must have". I ordered five cheeseburgers, two for children, three for adults. Three tots, two fries. And four drinks. My total was $67!!!! I thought to myself when I heard the total "it's an Olympia must have and it's supposed to be really good, no biggie". And I paid away. I got my order home. And while my deluxe cheeseburger was ok to good... my wife's was a hockey puck. My kids seemed unimpressed, and my Father-in-law is quietly not saying anything about dinner. I'm severely disappointed. And it will take a lot to convince me to get food from this establishment again. Maybe if my dinner was $20-30 less I would be feeling much happier about the experience. My wife thinks it should have been $67 less. read more

Love Eagan's, they have the best tater tots in town. I love their grilled chicken burger (way better than their fried chicken burger, because it's juicier and more flavorful), and yes, it's a bit expensive, but they make everything fresh for you right then. Which also means it takes a bit longer than McDonald's. I feel like a lot of the negative reviews are people used to a quick, cheap, full of preservatives and chemicals that trick their taste buds into thinking it tastes good, food. They're used to fillers and garbage and fries that will never rot, so they can't understand that real food tastes different, takes longer, and doesn't have a bunch of trash in it. They don't mass produce a bunch of stuff and let it sit under a warmer either. I've never had any trouble with the service... but I don't expect my burger in less than 60 secs. They're always nice, happy to swap out items on my order and always give me extra sauce. Anyway, I highly recommend them, they're locally owned and staple of the westside of Olympia, and worth the wait. read more

This place used to hold its own with Big Tom, but no more. A new family is running it, and gone are all the nice teenagers filling orders. The patty of beef was way skimpier than something from McD and it looked fresh out of the frozen bin. The cheese burger was $11 -- which was absurd for that tiny patty and a bunch of ice berg. I DID NOT BUY THE MALT because it was $7!!!!! Love to support local, but expect quality and these guys no longer deliver. Sad!!!! read more

Eagan's Westside Drive-Inn - Fries and goop. - Fast Food Near Me - Olympia, Washington

Good burger! The Big Tom is my favorite. Today I tried it with cheddar and the flavor did not 'pop' like the good old american cheese. I learned that they brew their Iced Tea in house and it is easy to taste the difference, check it out. I lived in the neighborhood near the restaurant for many years. I have had most of the things on their menu including breakfast. What I go for is 1. Big Tom Burger 2. Iced Tea and maybe 3. Fries with the infamous Goop. Everything else is pretty mediocre. This place is not easy on the wallet. I bought a burger and iced tea for lunch and it set me back $12.51! No joke. Its not like its some wagyu beef or anything fancy. A solid three stars and worth checking out if you feel like spending some dough. read more

Happy Hour is 2PM-5PM, and there are some really cool deals, IMO. Service is not the fastest here, unless you are getting an ice cream cone, and that is because stuff is cooked to order. I hear a lot of folks whining here about service time - you cannot have it both ways and want your stuff cooked to order, but not be prepared to wait. We love to get an ice cream cone at the "blue drive in" in the summer or after school. If I have the time, and it's happy hour, I will get some tater tots because they are hot and the ketchup is an awesome squeezable kind that I have not seen elsewhere. No crappy baggie. Squeeze what you want on your tot. I have not tried the rest of the menu because I have not. Call it pricing, call it managing time and expectations, but I have simply have not. I enjoy supporting this small business the employs young people and is a fixture of the community. read more

My wife and I love the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" with Guy Fieri which inspired us to try Egan's out. This place often has a lot of cars parked along it so we figured this might be an Olympian gem. Short answer: We were wrong. Eagan's Drive-Inn looks worn down from the outside and the food matches the exterior. It wasn't horrible or anything but it was basic. So basic that I could have cooked a better burger at home and saved about $4-$6 bucks! Seriously my chili burger cost $10.50! If I were to go anywhere else that burger would have come with a drink and fries at Eagan's it just covers the burger. The bottom line is if you feel like getting ripped off then Eagan's will scratch that itch. The only upside to this experience was that the attendant who helped us was nice something that many other establishments in the area lack. read more

Where do I begin? First of all (as others have mentioned), the pricing. RIDICULOUS! Look at my photo...this is their "crispy chicken burger." Essentially 2 food service chicken strips. Secondly, after spending $70 on several orders we got home and realized that they got our order wrong. Willing to go back and get the RIGHT items, we called so that they would be ready when we returned. Instead of an apology, we got an argumentative worker. Fabulous. Fast forward to picking up right order where the worker proceeds to tell my husband that he did indeed cook the chicken burgers...not sure where they went, but not in our bag! Here's a clue Eagan's: proper customer service for a wrongly served order consists of an apology and a credit for the inconvenience NOT an argument! All that effort for the picture you see above! You be the judge if it was worth it! read more
