I never leave bad reviews. Usually, if I can't say something nice, I don't say anything at all. If I could contact the owner of this Wendy's (#00001555 at 2427 Harrison Ave, Olympia, WA), I would, because they need to know how many customers they're losing, including myself and everyone who was waiting in the lobby with me, I would imagine, just based on the comments I heard. Even people in the parking lot were complaining as I was walking out to my car. This is the fourth time I've been to this location, and out of that, my order has been wrong twice, and I've had to wait between 20 and 30 minutes both times I've come into the lobby to pick up my order. I have never waited even a third of that time for any order at any other Wendy's in the state of Washington. Or any other state, for that matter. While I was there, I watched one of my fellow sufferers finally get their order, check the bag, and then, have to wait even longer for her missing fries. What I witnessed, both times I elected to come inside, was a complete lack of urgency on the part of the employees and manager. Everyone...every single person...looked like they were wading through quicksand. No one looked to be at all concerned that they had a lobby full of customers on a slow boil, and a drive thru line looped all the way around the parking lot. Everyone was moving in slow motion. There were a couple of lukewarm, pro forma apologies/promises to get to me once they had done other things first, given by the ONE person working the front register (and packing orders for delivery), but not a single employee looked to be in a hurry. I think that is what had everyone so mad...waiting three times as long is bad enough, but to do it while you watch people work in slow motion, as if they couldn't care less? That would grind anyone's gears. At first, I assumed it was because they were understaffed, but during the time I was there, I counted five employees and one manager just in the visible front part. I don't know how many were in the back, doing the cooking. I feel like that's enough people to get an order to me in less than 20 minutes. And I'm talking 20 minutes from when I arrived inside...that's not even counting the time from when I placed the mobile order and drove over to pick it up. Then, to top it off, they gave me the wrong order! I had ordered two Dave's Singles, and when I got home, I had two Double Stacks (an inferior item, if you're unfamiliar). I looked in the bag before I left the parking lot, and I saw two burgers (though smaller than I remember Singles being...I just figured that was due to "shrink-flation" and maybe running out of the foil wrappers), so I didn't realize the problem until I got home and unwrapped them. I'm done calling them back, only to be told I can "come back and get replacements". How is that making it up to me? I have to use my time and my gas to go all the way back, just so they can maybe manage to give me what I originally ordered? Has anyone at this Wendy's location ever heard of "good customer service"? I'm absolutely done with this location, and since I can't even get a complaint through to corporate due to a lame website, I think I'm just done with Wendy's in general. Because, honestly...it's just really becoming not worth it. Everything is getting too expensive, and I should just be cooking at home, anyway. But, for the sake of others, I hope the location's owner sees this and fixes the problem. Maybe they could take their employees on a field trip to Chick-Fil-A to see what efficiency with a smile looks like. I don't love Chick's politics, but they definitely know how to run a shop. Or, if it's a problem with the owner, themselves, maybe they could consider buying one less Mercedes, and using that money to pay for better training and incentives. read more

Two things!! Wendy's legit hands-down have best breakfast menu, and this Wendy's is the best Wendy's in the area and you have my word for it. I have been ordering their Bacon Egg Cheese breakfast sandwich and the breakfast potato wedges frequently for years at this location, and they have never failed to serve me anything but perfectly crisp fried potato wedges and fluffy warm breakfast sandwich every time. A good, warm breakfast makes your day off to a great start and their meal always give me that feeling. Also, most importantly, they always include ketchup and buttermilk ranch as they probably know those are my favorite sauce! The bottom line is that there are some hardworking people at this Wendy's because they always deliver. Did I mention their delicious Frostys? Chocolate one is the best, but don't forget the seasonals like Strawberry Frosty during Summer, and Peppermint Cane Frosty during holiday season. P.S. a pro-tip: if you're ever just craving a warm, fresh, plain biscuit during breakfast hours, Wendy's got you covered. Order it with butter and some honey packs. Yummmm! read more

This location is so ass I come 2-3 hours before closing and they don't have frosties, why are we turning off the ice cream machine 2 hours before they close? Drive-thru person was too busy yapping to other employees to realize my order was incomplete. When I called her on my missing item she fessed up that they needed to make more. She then offered an alternative- ok. Then I asked for ketchup and she said she'd have to go to back to get some. Why not have your area stocked?? Then I got home just to find that they had substituted items in my order anyway, including what I agreed to substitute. Management is lacking and crew is lazy and unfocused. They definitely dont deserve $15/hr but more like $9, and a lot of supervision! read more

This Wendy's is like a black hole. If you get in the line of cars you will never be seen again. On multiple occasions I have tried to get food via the drive thru lane and every single time, after wasting 10-15 minutes with very little line movement having taken place I just leave. I don't know how anyone having 30 minutes for lunch could get food, eat it and be back on time. And now that the McD's next door is shuttered for a rebuild its only going to get worse. Today the line only moved two car lengths in over 10 minutes. Management needs to staff up and treat (and pay) their workers better. I keep having horrible experiences with this Wendy's and am finally fed up. I'm definitely not going to be back. They are AWFUL about giving you the correct sized fries and drinks. The picture of the fries shows the "large" fry that I waited 17 minutes for at one visit to this location. The other picture is the completely burn and inedible cookie I received at another visit to this location, on this same visit I ordered a Jr bacon cheeseburger and received a soggy burger with no bacon. I've almost never had a bad experience at this Wendy's. Most of the time my nuggets are freshly, made my frosty is filled right up to the top, my french fries are soggy and delicious just like I like them. Even the staff is very lovely with their perky and friendly attitude. The atmosphere of this Wendy's is outdated. And sometimes I'm a little off put by the crowd or the managers poor attitude towards the new employees for reasons I did not understand because I thought they were just asking a question it was worth asking and because I thought they were doing a great job, and also penalize the new employee in front of the customers. But in general I've had a wonderful and lovely experience at this location. My food is 95% of the time exactly what I want out of my food from Wendy's. I will definitely go again, and I will definitely have a great time there. read more

Terrible service. I'm a fan of Wendy's and go there often. This time there was no line and it still took 10 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwich meals. After waiting for awhile at the pickup window, they told us they were out of Swiss cheese and asked if they could change it for another cheese. We said that's fine. Then they forgot to put cheese on my daughter's and we asked for a slice of cheese. She came to the window, with no gloves on, holding a piece of cheese. Then she threw it away and came back with gloves and a wrapper holding cheese. Our food was cold, sausage overcooked and did not taste good. To top it off, they also forgot the bacon on my sandwich. I never expect much from a fast food chain for starters. Wendy's on Harrison is a prime example of why. I ordered a Bacon Portabella Melt on Brioche. The sandwich had no sauce on it and it only had 3 portabella mushrooms. I'm sorry but just 3 mushrooms? Not to mention the bacon was rock hard. This was my first time going to a Wendy's and my last.
