Ever since Sis discovered Tiktok I've been trying a lot of food trends that I wouldn't otherwise try. I do however love Chipotle, so I was all in. Sis got the Keithadilla, a quesadilla made by some influencer that you can only order on the app. It consists of a quesadilla served with a vinaigrette. I had a bite and it was okay. It seemed less vinaigretty and more oily. Sis ate the whole thing and the more she ate it, the more she liked it. I enjoyed my crunchy steak tacos as usual. It's a Chipotle with the usual not so friendly employees, the aluminum furnishings and you know what you're getting when you go to a Chipotle. I mean let just be honest, I am a push over for Chipotle. I really wish there was in closer to where I live but nonetheless I love eating here when I am in the area. Chipotle is obviously a chain, however, my go-to's are the burrito with pork or the salad with pork. I also really like there new white queso they added to there menu. If you download the app you can order takeout and also rack up points for there food reward program. It doesn't take many visits to get free food. We drove from Raymond wa to Olympia to Chipotle. My family's treat as we don't normally get to do that. Everything was ok until we started ordering. The portion sizes we not even half of what they are. The line prep guy was scraping the bean bin and coming up with like a teaspoon of beans. This was for each of the bowls and my burrito. My husband ordered the chicken and he was lucky to have about 5 peices put on it. I get its super bowl Sunday and you're busy, you might even be running out of product. We chose to cancel the order, I paid for my daughters drink. The gentleman at the cash Register said please never come back. I work in customer service, I worked for McDonald's for years so I get it wasn't even going to complain until that was said. I get you go through a lot in customer service but I didn't yell or make a fuss or anything. It just wasn't worth three $45 that it was going to cost us. When I said that wasn't ok to say or handle the situation and asked for the manager. Turns out he is the general manager Jake Mensinger. He had a polite tone but that was not ok. As a person who works in customer service that is awful customer service, especially when you know the cost of your establishment and are shorting the portions. Please do better. This is entirely unexceptable and just honestly the worst customer service experience I've ever had and thats saying something. I love Chipotle for many reasons with the primary being that I have olympic training in chip eating, but the other is because this chain takes gf and celiac precautions very seriously. I pretty much always order the same thing, a salad with a little bit a lettuce and lotsa toppings.. then I can tell the husband I had a salad for lunch and I'm being healthy. Set. Plan. Go. I've been to this location a few times now, whenever the chip craving is too powerful to be ignored. Each time I've enjoyed the same friendly and thorough response to my request for a gf prep and a delicious piled high salad to enjoy. This particular location is pretty smooth at the transition. It can be a bit choppy at other locations I've been to, and I always end up feeling terrible about holding up the line. Here they have a good system of bringing out the new spoons, changing gloves, and going along with you as you tell them what you want. For each delicious item you select, they use the new spoons that are free of the evil gluten. I also really dig their positive attitude. No one hates the annoyance of being celiac more than me, and I can get to where I feel pretty self conscious about having to ask for extra precautions in food prep. I appreciate that the individuals at this location are consistently upbeat and chill about it and never make me feel like I'm just doing this to ruin their lives. Don't order DoorDash from here and I'm saying this as a driver. You get an estimated wait time and it looks like our fault when it's late. Also this is the ONLY place that says "delivery requested by restaurant, details not available." So we actually have no idea what you ordered, it's the only restaurant where it's not listed in the app and just have to trust they got it right. No clue if anything is missing when I pick it up. Most places will rattle off the order and you can look in the app to confirm. Also last time I went the kid was sloshing water all over the floor inside and outside with almost an hour til close. Even trying to take baby steps so as not to slip I almost slipped and fell because the floor was a LAKE.
