I deducted a star since I felt the sales rep wasted our time (it was very difficult to try to politely end the video call with him) by trying to tell us that consumer-grade cameras weren't going to meet our needs and he tried to upsell us by showing an unrealistic simulation of how fuzzy the images would look compared to their systems he wanted us to buy. Brian wasn't able to get one of our pre-existing wired professional camera system to work, and he dropped communication and delayed appointments by months several times while this was all happening, but I appreciate that he didn't charge us for this, so I'm just adding this as an FYI.

The team was already very familiar with Ubiquiti systems and was incredibly patient working with me despite my fairly basic understanding. They walked me through the tradeoffs and ultimately recommended stepping up from mid-range equipment to more professional-grade options. The reasoning was clear, the cost/benefit made sense, and at no point did I feel pressured--just well-advised. The actual Ethernet installation work was top-notch--smurf tubing, recessed (not sticking out!) enclosures, and everything. The level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is honestly beyond what I would normally expect (or even feel comfortable demanding from contractors). They went above and beyond without being asked, and the cable organization is immaculate. Huge thanks to Justin and John for their precision and quality of work, and to Jim and Rodrigo for their thoughtful recommendations on equipment and access point placement. Zencom was recommended by my security camera company to come in and replace the fiber so I could get my cameras back up and running. Adam came out from Zencom and quickly assessed the situation, spoke the language of my security company and developed a plan to replace the fire damaged cabling. Within a very short time, he obtained the necessary supplies and had the replacement installed in less than a day. More impressively, he came back and spent hours making sure all the cameras were back up, correcting minor issues he came across with my initial installation and left me in a much better situation than I was in even before the fire. I honestly hope to not need Zencom again, but if you need them, I highly recommend Adam and the Zencom team.
