This is your warning - do not use this company…read more I have used Amare's company several times to move things around in my house. This time I booked his company to move my entire home to a location about 30 minutes away. I was offered two or three movers and I opted for three. Only two movers showed up - four hours later than the original time I was told. I was told an arrival time of 6-7 a.m. At 6:30 a.m., the morning of the move, I receive a text that they had a very long day the day before and asked if it was ok if they "pressed the job back a little bit". I said yes. What was I going to say? They knew the time I had to be out of my house so I assumed they had it under control. They do this for a living - I do not. When two movers arrived they immediately seemed overwhelmed and called Amare to let him know they didn't know how they were going to get it done. Not exactly what you want to hear when you have to be out of your house by a specific time - which Amare was aware of. Amare had been in my home and was very aware of the contents. He actually showed up to help for a little bit because he said he knew I had a lot of stuff. It took two trips. Meanwhile, I have a realtor yelling at me asking where the keys are - when half of my house is still waiting to be loaded on the truck. Near the end of the second trip they made me aware that things were staying. Not that they needed to make a third trip - but that things were not coming with them (me). What???? How is that possible???? I tried to tell them that I have no way of moving these items - hence the reason I hired them. But things got left. My belongings were left because the movers that I hired decided at the very end that they were done. Not sure the reason and it doesn't really matter. My belongings were left behind. Then as I unpack came the shock of everything that was damaged beyond repair. Two very large paintings damaged, a large mirror cracked, two large glass lamps destroyed, a glass table chipped, a custom couch scuffed on the corners and the legs scuffed - thousands of dollars of items that I can't replace. I guess one of my mirrors must have been one of the items that was "left behind" because it's nowhere to be found. A dolly is missing. The list goes on and on. I hired a team that I thought could handle the job, but they obviously couldn't. It's not just the stress of losing the monetary value, it was also the stress of dealing with these three men. My husband wasn't present for the news that things were going to be left behind, it was me and my daughter. Would they have pulled that if my husband was present? My husband insisted on tipping them - because it was hot outside - not realizing the shenanigans they pulled and not realizing the degree of our damaged/"lost" possessions. So, moral of the story - don't hire this company - as you will regret it. I did contact Amare to let him know my concerns. I reached out to him first before writing a review, thinking we could arrive at a resolution. That was 9/1 and I'm writing this on 9/13 as I still haven't heard back from Amare.

We dropped into the showroom to see backsplash options. Lisa/owner was very friendly and great showing us options/answering questions and providing us grout and tile samples to take home and view there. Matt/Owner, later came out to give us an estimate and confirm what we were thinking. Matt answered any questions and measured and provided us an estimate before he left. Of course we already had chosen what tile we wanted by this time. Matt came when he said he would and installation began when he told me. Some other options I explored, I had to independently figure out installation. Which took a long time trying to get find someone or get someone to get back to me. Floors n More was also competitive on price, compared to other quotes we got. What we liked was they could give us a firm date on install. They also said they would work with us on installation. The amount of rooms we were doing, was going to be a challenge on moving out furniture/clothing/etc. Some other companies, said we had to have all rooms cleared out before they began. We were able to cycle through rooms, that made it more manageble to accomplish. We liked that Floors n More have their own people that do the work. Ramone/installer, arrived on time. He was very courtious/efficient/cleaned up at the end of the day/listened to any questions or concerns we had. He accomplished our job in a week. Floors N More was great to work with. I have already recommended them to at least 3 of my friends/neighbors.

Matt, the owner, was extremely attentive throughout the process--he checked in with me regularly and even sent progress photos along the way, which I really appreciated. His crew was polite, efficient, and worked quickly without leaving any downtime between steps, from sanding to laying the floors to installing the baseboards. One thing I really value is that they stood by their work. After the main job was complete, they came back promptly to fix small areas that needed attention, such as caulking and a few misaligned nails in the baseboards. The finished floors are smooth, level, and feel wonderful to walk on. One critique would be the pattern of how the planks were laid. In some areas, the seams line up in a way that feels a bit repetitive, and I would have preferred more variation in the staggered pattern. That said, the quality of the workmanship and customer service was excellent, and I would happily recommend Matt and his team to anyone looking to have their floors done.

Mr Buff was recommended to me by a friend who used them and LOVED them. Mr Buff is extremely nice and they did an excellent job moving things. There's just a couple of things I'd like to point out- 1) I was quoted $401 to move about 5 items of furniture. I moved literally everything else myself. I was also just switching apartments in the same complex, so no real travel. I agreed to this price and it was fine, but looking back, it took, maybe 45 minutes and $401 base (not including tip) seems pretty high. I wish I had figured out alternative means like hiring local guys for cheaper. So I don't feel like I got my money's worth. With that said - my friend moved an entire 2 story house for only $1,500 and feels like she definitely got her moneys worth. So I'm sure across the board, they are likely reasonably priced. 2) And the biggest issue - one of the workers texted my personal cell phone the night following my move saying he got my number from the paperwork and found me intriguing and wants to know more about me. I did call Mr Buff immediately to alert him. Mr Buff told me to block the number. I am mortified that my personal details were taken from the private paperwork by an employee for personal use. He also knows where I live which really concerns me and the fact that I told on him to his boss. Although Mr Buff seemed genuinely upset over this when I called him, I do think there should've been some kind of apology, alert that this would be handled internally, assurance it would not happen again, and follow up that it was handled. Maybe it was handled, idk what happened, but I didn't receive follow up. Either way, I feel bad I have to give a slightly poor rating because Mr Buff does seem great and like he works so terribly hard and I know so many others have had such positive interactions with the company, but I want to share so others are aware and so the company can reinforce appropriate boundaries around customer information.
