We discovered Sip Saam Thai while scrolling through Yelp and decided to make the trek since quality…read moreThai options are rare in our immediate area. It was well worth the drive! Parking & Service: Arrival was stress-free thanks to the massive parking lot in the strip mall. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. The Spice Factor: Interestingly, they offer two spice tiers: 1-10 and 10-15. We usually prefer a heavy heat, but found that levels 8 and 9 were still relatively mild. If you're a true spice lover, you might want to venture into the double digits! The Food: Portions are very generous and perfect for family-style dining. Everything was flavorful, though my one small note for the kitchen is that some dishes leaned a bit heavy on the salt. Overall, a great spot with big flavors.

The service has always been great--servers are attentive, friendly, and quick to clear plates, which we've always appreciated. It's part of why we kept coming back. We usually order the fried pompano, and it's always been a favorite. But the last couple of times, the fish has been noticeably smaller--like almost half the size it used to be. That was already a letdown. What really did it for us, though, was finding a plastic to-go cup lid inside one of our drink glasses. It was buried in there, and completely threw us off. At that point, we were just done. It's a bummer because we've liked this place for a long time, but between the smaller portions and that experience, we won't be coming back.

The menu is pretty extensive too, so it was easy for everyone to find something they were excited about. I had the Tum Tad salad, which was super fresh and flavorful with a nice balance of tangy and savory. For dessert, the mango sticky rice was a standout. It was made with a black rice that actually looked kind of blue, which made it really visually fun. Not totally sure if there was some ube mixed in or just the natural color, but either way it was delicious and a little different from the usual version.

If it wasn't for the fantastic gentlemen at the front door i would have left. He kept on the waitresses to take my order. But then after order i did not receive my food for long time. I watched others walk in behind me and get food before me. Should never happen. The garden roll and sauces were great. Fresh. The pad see ewe was flavorless. Maybe least flavored pad see that I've ever had. I had to ask for salt and chili oil to give some flavor but even that didn't work out. I used my leftover peanut sauce from the garden rolls and finally, FLAVOR! Portions are small, I'm leaving still hungry.

If you're a fan of Thai comfort food done right, P Thai's Khao Man Gai is an absolute must. The…read morestar of the show is, of course, the chicken. It's perfectly poached, incredibly tender, and paired with fragrant rice that's rich without being greasy. It also comes with a decadent bowl of soup. I usually start with the chicken skin appetizer, which iss dangerously addictive. It's crispy, light, and comes with dipping sauce. The combo plate is the way to go if you want to try the poached and fried chicken. You get a variety of textures and flavors, both juicy and crunchy. Both sauces are great to dip in and the chicken goes great with the rice. If you can handle spice, the boat noodles are a great option too. The broth is complex and spicy, with tender noodles and well-seasoned meat. The spiciness is definitely a build up, but the broth is so good you can't stop drinking it. Overall, P Thai's is a great spot for lunch or dinner. Plenty of seating inside with some outside, nice staff that explain everything, and a great spot to share food. Their thai tea is great too so don't skip out on that. Definitely have been here multiple times and will keep coming back.

The chicken salad is zingy and really good, but you definitely need to add the rice to balance the flavors. I had actually never had boat noodles this sour and spicy before, and while they did warn me ahead of time, it still caught me off guard. That said, it was honestly delicious, just not what I expected. One thing to note: they don't really do modifications, so just be prepared to order things as-is. I also have to give them credit for the outdoor seating area because it's such a nice setup. It's dog-friendly, shaded, spacious, and they even have a self-serve water station. My only critique is that I think the portions are a bit small for the price point. Still, I'd recommend checking it out.

You can tell there's a lot of care put into the cooking. One thing that stood out was how extensive the menu was. There were so many options that it was honestly hard to choose, which just gives me more reason to come back and try other dishes next time. Definitely a spot worth checking out if you're craving authentic Thai food.

Parking available either in the small lot or street parking. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with a buddy to try out new restaurants and Kiin Di was high on that list. Fortunately, we came at opening and was able to snag a seat quickly For food, we got the rip & dip Roti, khao soi, lost recipe, creamy curry crab, Thai me down, dang curry, and pad see ew. The khao soi was pretty mid and it didn't have the nice fried crunch i was expecting out of a chiang mai khao soi. The rip and dip roti was amazing and it went so well with its own sauce as wella s the dang curry. When we were leaving, there was already a line outside, so i recommend either coming early or during non-peak times. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall damage done was around $140 for everything. Very flavorful meal and very salty however I'd come back and try some more items.
