This is not a review of the food, this is a review of the portion. For a beef flat noodle that cost 13$ with tax, this small round container is not acceptable, if you order this dish in any chinese restaurant, the portion is at least 3 times the size. Please adjust your portions and to-go sizes, white rice and plain noodles doesn't cost much. read more

I'm from queens so I'm familiar with E Noodle already, I honestly love the fact that they keep the clay pot rice sauce on the table because you can never get enough of that stuff!! This is my second visit to the Brooklyn location and my impressions are similar, I love the peanut butter churn fun, and the dumplings are additive. We ordered a beef chow fun to share and a lop churn clay pot as well. I love how the rice is crunchy on the bottom of the clay pot (like how real bo zai fan is supposed to be). We also ordered two xiao long baos one with crab meat and one without. Now I'm shanghainese, so me personally I don't like the fatty soupy stuff they serve over at Joes Shanghai. In Shanghai soup dumplings are delicate and have very clear and clean broth. This is how E noodles makes theirs. The dough is thin and soft, it's most likely freshly made since thin XLB's skin would crack if frozen. And the soup is very clear and clean. It leaves you feeling good instead of groggy. Anyways it's a good go to spot for a lunch and sit down with a friend or two! read more

One star because - they have terrible customer service. - The traditional hk hot pot rice is not traditional at all. No flavor and they didn't even provide the sweet soy sauce for the rice. (Which is the traditional thing to do) and I asked to add an egg very last min. I got a cracked raw egg - pan fried dumpling was ok only, not crispy enough. - pancake was too soggy They would've gotten 2.5-3 stars if their customer service wasn't so terrible. read more

I've eaten here a few times and often get their milk tea to go. Their milk tea is HK style and has a strong tea taste, which is what I prefer over bubble tea joints. Their service is always friendly and nice and their food has always been solid. Their soup dumplings are good although they don't taste as authentic as some Shanghai places, they are very juicy and the skin of the dumpling itself is thin. Their noodles are never soggy and always flavorful! What really leads me to leaving this review is how well they package their food and the good service I've received not only over the phone when placing an order but while dining in from past visits. They're operating during the pandemic and taking delivery and takeout orders. They are limited on kitchen staff which they are very honest about. I called to place an order a couple of hours in advance for dinner and specified what time we were going to pick it up, and it was ready on time. They separate not only the noodles from the soup to prevent the noodles from getting soggy, but they also separate the toppings of the noodles as well, which I was very impressed with. They also give you all their sauces in separate containers. There is a language barrier with their staff while ordering, but they tried really hard and repeated my order back to make sure it was right. They also do deliveries and takeout through Uber eats and grub hub. I can't wait to dine in again when this pandemic passes! read more

Came on a Sunday 630pm with a group of 3. Place is big and was pretty busy, but still some available tables so we were seated immediately. Hot pot rice: it was good! The rice was cooked really nicely and had crispy edges which were not burnt. It was loaded with a lot of the meat and broccoli on top which flavored the rice deliciously. I didn't even need soy sauce on it. Soup dumplings:delicious soup base! We ordered the crab meat dumplings and the regular pork ones. The crab meat dumplings were so good. Make sure u eat them fresh and hot though cuz it's not as good if u eat them later. Scallion pancakes: pretty good. They were crispy and not burnt. Curry cuttlefish balls:the curry sauce was good but the cuttlefish balls were kind of hard. Not sure if they are supposed to be that way. Some kind of liver and maybe kidney (?..don't remember what it is) appetizer: it was decent. I'm not really into livers and intestines but it tasted alright. Tasted better with the hot oil chili sauce which they put on the side of the table with the other condiments Overall, the food was good. I'd come back again. read more

One of my go to places to order from. Food arrives fresh, hot and tastes well-prepared. Favorites include the dumplings, scallion pancakes, hot pot and a side of greens. I like that the menu has a lot more variety and choices compared to other Asian restaurants in the area. This one has a mix of Cantonese and Hong Kong dishes, and I appreciate the variety. read more

Amazing food. My favorite is the soup dumplings, scallions pancakes and beef congee.

Food is simply not good. Ordered the hot and spicy tofu lo mein, the lo mein was salted to death. They use Mah lah spices but were very stingey with it making the noodles extremely bland besides the excessive salt. The general tso chicken tastes like prepackaged chicken that were reheated and drenched with sweet sauce. Finally had the fried fish skin that was expensive and scarce. A few flakes for $10. They gave free soup with entree orders and it was also bad. The taste profile was just off, wife says it's due to excessive msg. This place is just expensive, bad Chinese takeout. Would not recommend. The 2 star was given because the food came quickly... albeit suspiciously quickly. read more

Very authentic noodles!! and by far, the best soup dumplings (xiao long bao) I've experienced. soup dumplings(xiao long bao): skin dough was so thin i can actually see the soup inside the bun, very soupy and delicious, its a must try!! beef tendon soup noodle: very flavorful, the noodles especially, just right like al dente~ unlike others where the noodles becomes soggy... this place has hit the spot! The place has many other Hong Kong style appetizers and entrees. I will be back to try them all and make sure this review gets updated on my every future visit!! read more

So I've heard a lot from this place coming from both my parents and my brother and his fiancee. I was really excited to give this place a try and finally got the chance to! E-Noodle is really unique in a way of their own. Comparably I usually go to HK Tea and Sushi for my fix of Hong Kong cuisine but E-Noodle has really opened up my taste buds for such a great place! I would say that the portion for this place is quite big and you're practically getting your money's worth here. I've ordered the Monster ramen, Peanut butter and soy sauce rice noodles, Fish slice congee, and Hotpot rice. It was absolutely delightful and I can't wait to go back again to give this place another try and exploring their menu! The employees are very nice and willing to help explain what each item is within the menu. I know for sure this will not be my last time here at this location. read more

stopped by for an early dinner while shopping in the area. its really a 3.5 star but i rounded up this time because the server was extremely nice and pleasant. we ordered way too much food but she did not stop us! curry fishballs - delish curry sauce. tripe platter - good if you like innards! fried fish skin - delicious. soft shell crab - nicely done. Crab XLB - not going to lie this was probably one of the best of its kind that ive had in a while! the only "miss" was the chicken spaghetti with black pepper sauce. not bad but ive had better. read more

I was 3 dollars off of the 15% tips and have no change on me, the employee was rude and disrespectful asking me pay the extra money for the tips, telling me that I shouldn't be doing this if I want to go out and eat, I have to pay at least 15% for tips. read more

Great addition to the neighborhood! Very authentic Cantonese food! The beef chow fun is excellent.

Food is delicious and price is right! The HK milk tea is a plus! Wonton soup and dumplings are also need to try. Very Hong Kong style! read more

A more traditional Hong Kong style cuisine. I've always enjoyed the food from their Queens location. I'm so glad they opened up another shop in Brooklyn. It's quite spacious inside with plenty of tables that arent cramped together. Their Hong kong style milk tea is highly recommended, it's not watered down with ton of milk and tea flavor. The churng fun is a must for kiddies. It's such a simple silky rice crepe noodle dish with sweet sauce, peanut butter sauce, sweet soy sauce with sesame seeds that even the picky eaters would eat. Love their curry oxtail rice dish and any of their Hong kong style lo meins. Their service is quick and efficient. Definitely a great addition to the fast food chain area. read more

Great place , great staff and really good food ! (Especially the wonton and the noodle soups) . I would definitely go again for their food ! I took away 2 stars because at the end of our meal , i saw their sign that reads (check in at yelp and face book for 10 percent off) , so I did just that and after doing that , I was told by the team that because I ordered this special dish , I cannot get 10 percent off..... left that place with a bitter taste in mouth . They shouldn't put that sign up if they cannot fulfill the order . In addition , I ordered multiple dishes , they aren't all special dishes . So it was disappointing to see that they won't just offer 10 percent off for a customer . read more

Probably the best spot for authentic HK Chinese food in Bay Ridge. Great soup dumplings!

I don't know how I never noticed this place but this is now my go-to for soup dumplings. I was going to Liu's Shanghai but I feel the quality of their food was dropping again. The skin on E Noodle Cafe's soup dumplings are thin and that's how I like it. The pork is marinated well and I have eaten it without the vinegar dipping sauce and it was flavorful. Their Shatin chicken congee was good. The fried dumplings were good. I was impressed with their coffee/milk tea. One of the better tasting ones in Brooklyn. I tried their dumplings with the thousand year egg but wasn't a fan. They are a bit on the pricey side but it's probably because of the rent in Bay Ridge. Service was good. read more

I've been on the hunt for some amazing soup dumplings in Brooklyn and after a recommendation, I decided to give this place a try. Came here with a friend on a Saturday night and it was pretty packed but luckily, we were easily seated at a table for two. We ordered the traditional pork soup dumplings, soup dumplings with crab meat, scallion pancake, hk style rice noodles, Chinese broccoli and a hk style milk tea. First off, I thought it was great that the milk tea didn't come with sugar already mixed in since some may like different levels of sweetness. As for the food, my friend and I enjoyed everything we got, the rice noodles were amazing, chinese broccoli was good, scallions pancakes were nice and thin opposed to other places that make it thick and doughy - the only problem was that since it's so thin, and they're all layered on top of each other, the bottom ones get soft faster and isn't as crispy. Aside from that, I really enjoyed the soup dumplings and you really don't need the sauce that comes with it because it's so flavorful on its own. I would have to say that I usually like crabmeat dumplings better but the traditional pork dumplings were much better and wouldn't spend the extra couple dollars on the crabmeat one next time. All in all, the food was great, and I'll be looking forward to coming back next time and trying more of the hk style food as well as the fried fish skin which was a dish on everyone's table. read more

This is the only authentic Cantonese style restaurant that delivers in Bay Ridge, which is a plus. I always get the shrimp wonton noodle soup, which I would recommend. The filling is not a normal wonton filling, but it's tasty, and I think there's wood ear in it so there's a bit of added texture. Jook (congee) is also tasty, but pretty pricey...I would order if I'm feeling lazy because, let's be real, it's just salted meat and preserved egg in rice soup. Don't get the curry cuttlefish balls. Steam rice rolls are probably better eaten there, but just like the congee a bit pricey. They don't taste like fresh made rice rolls and it's just sauce, so not sure why its worth $5 per order. On time delivery, which is also a plus. It's a solid 3, maybe 3.5 stars. read more

do yourself a favor and NEVER order from here. the chicken noodle dish with broccoli was absolutely disgusting. the noodles tasted like sour feet and the chicken was so birdy i couldn't even eat it. we ended up throwing out most of the food. awful. awful. awful. when the word NOODLE is in your name, at least get that part right. fail. never again. read more

This place is affordable for the food amount which is quite enough to give you the fullest belly. Ordered the curry ox tail dish whuch was rich in sauce and the spicy pork loin mein. My favorite has to go to the crab soup dumplings. It's very juicy and the flavor with the dough is balanced. Tho you do need precision using those utensils so that you don't break the fragile balls. There is a full soup spoonful of soup in there. For the dishes, the ox tail had a lot of sauce for the amount of meat but nonetheless good. My fav is the spicy pork lo mein which the noodles and the sauce are great together. read more

I used to like this place. But now I won't ever go back. After being seated. Didn't give us menu for over 5 minutes. Then, flagged down 2 people to take out order. Kept getting the. O I'm coming. By the time we ordered, the table next to us was already eating their food. We were seated at the same time. As we were leaving, got my bill returned because I gave 15% instead of 20%. She seriously haggled me over $2. If I don't like your service, your food needs to be phenomenal. But it was just mediocre. I can make most of this at home. I use to have lunch with my family at this restaurant so often. but we will NOT go back there anymore! food is awesome and delicious. prices fair but not when you're about to pay for the tab. a female Server will INSPECT your tip amount! if you're not giving out minimum 15% of tip. she will request and tell you that the owner paying them so little and they're relying on tip. I must say I had a very interesting and positive experience here. Please read the whole review because it begins questionably... I'll explain. I had eaten at this place once or twice and, being a big Chinatown fan, was not terribly impressed. I love Cantonese Dim Sum...Shanghai soupy dumplings not so much, which were about the only seafood dumplings they offered for a while. Then on Saturday, walking by, they had a new poster with some classic Dim Sum pictures... Ha Gao, Shumai, Sticky Rice, watercress dumplings and roast pork buns. I went in, confirmed with the Hostess that they had those items and proceeded to order one of each of the above. 24 minutes later I was beginning to wonder what the heck was going on. Then my food arrived and it became clear. The Dim Sum had been made to order. They wrapped the dumplings and sticky rice and stuffed and the buns to order. This is unusual but makes sense. This place servers Hong Kong style Dim Sum as opposed to Cantonese. The difference between Hong Kong and the rest of China should be known to anyone with the faintest knowledge of Chinese history. Hong Kong was a British (hence European) colony and the influence remains. Just as in European cooking, everything is made fresh to order. You don't expect precooked escargot in a French restaurant. You don't expect precooked bruchetta or stuffed clams in an Italian restaurant. So don't expect ready to serve Dim Sum in a Hong Kong restaurant. Have some patience and do expect superior quality, made to order Hong Kong Dim Sum. read more

Not a big review person but this was just exceptionally bad. I got the genera Tsos entree which is supposed to be bigger than the over rice option and my girlfriend got the sesame chicken over rice. When opening them we noticed the amount of chicken to be way too similar and the entree was filled with broccoli. We decided to count and her over rice actually had more pieces of chicken than mine( entree is $5 more). We then started eating and when I tried hers it was identical... the sesame chicken and general tsos were definitely just cooked together and put in different containers. If you're in the bay ridge area and want good American Chinese food go to chopstix, substantially better. read more

Ugh, I love HK. And what I love most about HK is the food! If I could, I'd give them 4.5 starts. The service was exemplary. Their wonton soup is bomb, the small was filling enough for me. Followed by the cheurng-fun (steamed rice rolls w/ peanut butter & hoisin sauce). Yummy in the tummy! I give it -.5 stars because my non-asian husband ordered the beef and broccoli and I found it too salty. As for their chili sauce, it's great too! read more
