JINS became for me the way to go for quality glasses, especially this location…read more I got a few frames and I have been very satisfied with the quality, and the reasonable prices. Unlike other places like Lenscrafter, the people working there know their job and are able to adjust the frame to you, fix it if needed, etc... I even came back with very old frames that were completely bend and with a broken nose pad and the salesperson, Isaiah, was able to fix it perfectly and replace the missing nose pads ! I really couldn't believe it how good of a job he did. All the other people I've to deal with at this location were great.

I prefer to purchase from JINS.com, but my prescription can only be fulfilled in store so I…read morereturned to this JINS location because of past positive experiences. Unfortunately, today did not live up to those expectations. I already knew which frames I wanted so I scanned them to check in and went through the prompts to enter my initial information. I was then called up to the counter in less than 2 minutes where I met Jason. Surprisingly he was very disengaged from the start. His first question was to ask to be taken where my selected frames are in the store. Back at the counter he asked for the same information that I already entered at check in, then for my prescription, which he entered on a tablet. I tried to make small talk, but he didn't seem interested. He then pulled out a binocular-like device and put it up to my eyes without explaining what it was or what I was to do. I only know from my optometrist that it's for PD measurements, but a little explanation would be nice before something is put up to my face. He then entered more info, asked if I wanted to pick up or ship my order -- I said pick-up. He gave me my total. As I was paying, he asked if I was using an HSA or FSA card. I was -- so he tells me my order is "Final Sale", which was fine. He printed out my receipt and said, "we'll call you when they're ready". We left the store, expecting to return in about an hour. We shopped, grabbed a snack and walked around. After about an hour and a half without a call, I returned to the store. Jason was no longer there. I asked Isaiah about my order, but then a young lady took over. It took her just a few minutes to find it. She then tells me that progressive lenses are not done in-store -- what?!? She apologized when I said I was not told that. She then asked if I wanted them shipped instead. Yes. She had me enter my address on the tablet and said that I'll get an email with tracking when they're shipped. Aside from the disappointment with this visit, I'm now worried that there will be an issue with the fulfillment of my order. It wouldn't surprise me if I get a call in a few weeks to pick-up my order. We'll see.

Always had a positive experience with all the visits; the staff is always welcoming and so amazing they treat you like one of their own, like family. That's so rare nowadays, and it's so good to feel like your business matters, not like you're just another cash grab. I came last week just to fix my son's glasses. I did not realize how simple it would be. I came in, checked in, and told them it needed a simple repair. They took it, and within 10 minutes it was out! Super fast, super great. Loved it. Did not waste time, vamolos; I had planned to wait at least an hour but 10 mins. Wow. I was very happy. What a great team!

It took them 3 tries to order my correct contact lens prescription. The first time, they had ordered last years, so I called once I got the email receipt. The girl made it sound like I was the one that placed the order with the wrong prescription They promised it would be corrected, so I waited another week. since they are only open M-F during normal work hours, I was able to get my husband to pick it up for me. Once again WRONG. Now I'm annoyed, got them on the phone, and I never once heard an apology. It was met with snarky answers and the resolution offered was that they would throw in a couple pairs but I would need to come back to pick it up in a few days. I am not taking off work to pick up something that was supposed to be in my possession 3 weeks ago. He told me "can't your husband do it again?" I explained to him how we shouldn't be relying on my husband to fix THEIR MISTAKE. He ended saying he will just ship them to my house. I am disappointed with their declining service. Not sure if they got too busy, so they expanded the staff but the quality of service went out the door. But I will be finding a new office

Appt on Saturday, Sept 13 @ 2 pm. Approached front door and you have press button. Employee answers "How can I help you?" I informed her I have an appt.. Buzzed in and signed in. Filled out the paperwork and waited. Place filled with people waiting. Waited for 15 minutes and staff called me. She said to me sit here for a test. Never explaining anything just rest your chin here. Finished and thought I would be placed in a room. Nope. Told wait in the lobby. Waited for 30 minutes and asked staff how much longer approx 2 hrs because a patient in AM took doctor's time that put him behind. I rescheduled. Returned Monday, Sept 22 @ 5 pm. Arrived and again needing to be buzzed in. Lobby only a couple people. Name called & followed the employee again with this sit here, chin here. Umm I did this already last visit. I am here just for the doctor. Told that I had to redo this test but again not told what the name of test. Went to lobby waited and shortly afterwards called into a room. I don't recall if doctor introduced himself. He had no professional coat & no name badge. Assuming he is the doctor and test proceeded. He took my old glasses and test them to see the prescription. After testing told I have cataract in right eye and you need surgery. Insurance covers it. Trying to process this news as he was documenting in the computer then he gets up and leaves the room. I am assuming to schedule me for surgery or get paperwork for the surgery. Nope. He left to attend another patient to give them an eye exam. Extremely rude leaving me waiting for 15 minutes then he returns with patient following him. She wanted discussed something to him then she realized I was in the room. Left to the front. He finished with me and he went to the front to give employee my chart. He tells the employee that these 2 patients need cataract surgery then leaves. Employee gives me couple papers tells me to call this doctor ask if they take my insurance then return to them to get glasses. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Employees are receptionist. They do check insurance for eye exam when booking appt but beyond that don't ask. Here is the paperwork & patient to figure it out. Then you need to buzzed out so once inside your locked in. As I was trying to leave tells me I have to pay co-payment. They charge at the end of the visit or stayed locked inside. I anticipated to be their for 15 or maybe 30 minutes at the most but was their for alittle over an hr being late returning to work. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Doctor is mediocre. Employee has lack of patient education. Lack of empathy from doctor and employees. Explained to me why employees at the front desk are wearing scrubs. Not understanding that part. I won't be returning. Do not recommend

It started off a little meh for me as there is only street parking and as I am disabled, the walk was a little hard for me. BUT the service totally made the walk worthwhile. I did pay extra for the eye X-ray thingie but that was so much better than getting my eyes dilated. I'm diabetic as well and I have to get my eyes checked yearly to ensure that my eyes are ok. This was a much easier exam than getting the dilation. Much easier and much safer for me. Then I got taken to the back and the optometrist was great as well. She recommended some things and talked with me about some other issues as well. She also told me that the pores on my eye lids were getting gunky and to start doing warm eye compresses at night and it has been helping. Then the nicest very helpful lady... I wished I had gotten her name... Helped me to find new glasses. She was so helpful in bringing glasses to me and looking up colors for me and just being overall extremely helpful. Normally I'm used to being told, go and look and see what glasses you like... Instead here, she assisted me with everything which was very much appreciated.
