I LOVE this place!! They always have the exact shades I'm looking for, parking is easy, and the owner is great!! It's perfect

I finally got smart after the pain of losing some prized shades and began buying sunglasses at Dziner Eyez. Having a few inexpensive pairs is a way better way for me to go. I've gotten tons of compliments on them too, so you are not even sacrificing style when you buy here. Chad has been so awesome time and time again over the years, helping me see which ones suit my face best. I love this place... the glasses, the service, the prices... you gotta put it on your list to visit the next time you are in Pacific Beach! read more

Dziner Eyez - Dziner Eyez shades! - Eyewear & Opticians Near Me - San Diego, California

I love this place. I always stock up on several inexpensive pairs so I dont feel so bad when they get scratched like an authentic pair of Gucci or Versace makes you feel:( My only gripe is cringing when they wont get you a new pair but give you the loose sample ones on display. It makes it even worse that they will tighten it up & clean the pair, before they give you a new pair, from in the box. Ugh. Besides that kinda lame fact, they general carry stylish, trendy glasses with a large variety to choose from. read more

Love this place, great glasses, always go to get the same ones! I always interact with Lani, she's the best! The other girl like other reviews have said is super rude! So bad we walked in there one time and she was so rude my husband decided he didn't want to buy any while she was there. Cute little shop and location! read more

It's not about Designer here, it's Dziner! Oops, did I leave a pair of sunglasses on the Amtrak? Oh well, they were only Dziner. Ooh no, did I squish my sunglasses with my bottom? Ehh, Dziner. Gosh, did I just drop my sunglasses for the hundredth time? Man, I need to get a grip on my bad ways. But I'm going to go to Dziner Eyez just in case it's not out of my system. The sunglasses are CHEAP here and if something happens to my eye-wear, it doesn't heart my heart. The selection is AMAZING; my friend and I have never visited this place and not buy. Some of our favorite shades come from here. However, I will warn, it's not the best quality in terms of durability. But it fits my forgetful nature. Sorry stylish sunglasses, I don't think we'll be celebrating any five year anniversary together. read more

Oh No! Not again! I just sat on my sunglasses yet again or lost it along the way. I'm not buying $100+ designer sunglasses again. That's such a waste! (sounds like a cheesy, late night infomercial.) You can still look good without investing a wad of cash on fashionable sunglasses which will eventually look passe within a year, perhaps sooner. I don't care if I lose them or break them since I paid for 2 cool looking pairs for only 15 greenbacks. Hopefully the price wont soar cause of the economy and oil prices. Non-sequitur Interruption: Actually one of the key substances in manufacturing plastic is oil, so as the cost of oil rises worldwide (measured by unit barrels), so does plastic. So it stands to reason, all things being equal, sunglasses made mostly of plastic will climb ever so slightly. Okay, sorry for the interruption, back to the review... I'm not gonna front, I don't only think of the utility and purpose of sunglasses, I buy sunglasses that are aesthetically pleasing and hip. What a better place to purchase sunglasses than near the beach where Dziner Eyez is located. The have a huge selection of modern styles that are constantly being changed or restocked every Wednesday (from what they told me). The staff at Dziner Eyez are really helpful. They even help my 3 and 5 year old nieces find cool glasses. read more

Ok, let me preface by saying that I am not a fan of fake anything. And by fake I mean your ugly bag that you are trying to pass as a Louis Vuitton just because some ten year old in China printed it with "LV". With that said, I do not have an issue with designed "inspired",which is most of what you'll get at Dziner Eyes. I avoid the ones that say "Louis Vuitton" or "D&G" on them because I know they aren't real... but if they don't have a fake logo and are just "inspired",that's cool with me! They have a big selection and the prices are great. Staff is super friendly! I get excited to go here every few months! read more

I love this place. Prior to discovering Dziner Eyez I would break my sunglasses at least twice a year for a variety of reasons: I drop them, they fall out of my pocket, a dog steps on them, a person steps on them, I try to put them on my dog and she breaks them, I sit on them, they accidentally fall off my head while I'm trying to fix something and I throw them in a fit of anger, so yeah they go through a huge amount of abuse. Here you get 3 pairs for $20. Yeah, they're cheap and they're gonna break but I've gotten some decent life out of a few pairs. If one breaks it's cool because I've got another two pairs waiting in the wings. The reality is it takes about 12-15 months to go through the three pairs and it's still a lot cheaper than buying one decent pair that'll break within a year anyway because I'm so reckless with them. Give it a try, you'll like it. read more

I wanted to express my appreciation and say what great customer service Dziner Eyez provides. Sadly last year I moved away from San Diego and as luck would have it I broke my last pair of sunglasses from them. I emailed Dziner Eyez - after exchanging a few emails (including a photo of my broken pair) James not only found the style but ordered them and even shipped them to me in Northern California. You have a customer for life - thank you to James and Dziner Eyez for going above and beyond!!!! read more

This place is cool! They have all the designer knock off sunglasses that a woman could ever need. I love them since I'm the type that always ends up with scratched to hell lenses, so I am always needing to replace my specs. I was literally walking to the beach down Garnet to meet some friends and I was thinking, damn, I need some cool shades. Then as if they heard me, this little shop appeared and sold me the best pair for $10. Yes! (fist in the air) read more

Tiny place. Great selection. These are the type of sunglasses you would want to take if you believe you might lose them. They look good without being expensive and the more you buy, the better discount you get. read more

I loved this place!!!! It's a really tiny store but it has a really good selection. You guys have to know that I love sunglasses (I already own about 10 pairs), the problem with owning 200+ sunglasses is that I always lose them after a week of use or I break them, so they may be designer & expensive but they are not made any better that Target bought sunglasses!!! Anyway I buy them for the look not the name! So a friend recommended this place and this past Sunday I gave it a shot, I was impressed, like I said the place is small but the selection was good, the girls were really helpful. I ended getting 3 pairs for $20, you can't even get a pair that cheap at Target, for God sakes, & when I went to pay they gave a card (that doesn't expire, really cool!!) that after you buy your fifth pair you get one free. This was music to my ears!!! So if you want cool shades @ really low cost, this is the place to go!!!! read more

Who doesn't need cheap sunglasses in PB? I lose everything, so no expensive shades for me. Luckily Dziner Eyez to the rescue! They have AWESOME SUNGLASSES here! Imitations of designers, but they don't look like it... know what I mean? These are MUCH better than sunglasses I've bought at Target & Kohls. They have deals if you buy multiple pairs, the sunglasses get cheaper. My man & I have been here multiple times in the last few years & will definitely be back! They also have super cute sunglasses for kids... A great San Diego souvenir for kids or parents who left kids at home. :-) Great service here... the employees are always really helpful without being pushy and make sure to clean each pair when you purchase them. read more

YES YES!!! Love this place. For one, my whole family now stocks up on these sunglasses when they're in town. They have SO many choices, GREAT DEALS, Chad, the owner is SO cool & down to earth. He is always a great conversation while you browse all the sunglasses. No joke, I only go here for my sunglasses read more

I have a pretty raging sunglass problem. I'm the cheapest dude in the world but when it comes to sunglasses I go all out. I usually have one expensive pair that I hang onto for a few years and I'll either break or lose them. Then I moved to PB. I love the beach but my $350 polarized Persols ain't going anywhere near that sand. My roommate told me about this place. I bought 4 pairs for $22. Right now their deal is 3 for $20 and they have a $2 bin where the slightly messed up sunglasses go. They have replicates of all the major styles and a great selection. I was worried they would break on me but it hasn't happened yet. All my shades are holding up well after 2 months of use. read more

I love sunglasses and Dziner Eyez helps with my budget for the need to have every color, style, and brand. I usually go every 6 months and grab about 6 (or more) to get my fix. None of them have broken - I normally lose them or just want something new. The staff is wonderful and always enjoy going to see them. Chad the owner is the best. read more

Best knockoffs in town by far. I go there probably twice a year and buy a new 3/pack for $20 out the door. friendly service, nice layout of selections. Can't beat it! read more

Love this place. Always a must stop whenever i visit sd. Always super friendly service, always a wide slection and the price is always right. How can you go wrong 3 for $20sunglasses? read more

I love this place for super cute and super cheap sunglasses.

If you're like me and always need a few sets of shades that you won't cry when they are destroyed...this is the place to stock up. Love their polarized selection. All the kids got a set or 2. Great prices and fun selection. I make a stop every time to PB. read more

I've bought a bunch of sunglasses from this place over the years. They sell junky glasses that will break after a few months of wear. Whenever I just need something to shield my eyes and I don't want to spend a bunch of money, I stop in and grab a couple pairs. Today I was on a long bike ride and stopped by on my bike. It was very bright and I had no eye protection, so I decided to buy a pair or two. As soon as I get there and I lean my bike against the outside of the door, the guy behind the counter FREAKS OUT and is like "YOU CAN'T PUT YOUR BIKE THERE! YOU HAVE TO LEAVE IT OUTSIDE!" Never mind that the bike WAS outside, I just wanted to leave it near the door so I could see it while I picked out glasses. I told the guy that I was on a long ride, didn't have a lock, and was not going to leave my (very expensive) bike out on Garnet Ave while I was shopping. He abruptly told me that it didn't matter, I couldn't leave me bike there and then he mentioned something about FIRE CODE. This guy was literally the only person in the tiny store. It was the middle of a workday, there wasn't a single customer in there. I'm sure he and I would have made it out alive if the cheap, Chinese-made sunglasses spontaneously burst into flames. It was honestly the most ridiculous interaction. The guy was an absolute jerk. I will NEVER come back. There are plenty of places to get garbage sunglasses (online, drug store, the dumpster) for cheaper than this place... I'm not going to deal with horrible attitude. If you hate your job so much, go find a new one. read more

Tiny sunglass hut in PB, they have all the "designer inspired" styles. Great place to grab a pair of sunglasses that wont break your heart or wallet when you loose them on the beach. read more

Probably the best deal on sunglasses for people who don't want to spend a lot of money. I found myself in here after kayaking with my BF and him losing his 200$ sunglasses from that experience. We came in here knowing he could get something quick to replace them for not so much cash. It's super cheap and the glasses are cute. We both got a pair and it only cost 15$ plus tax. Not a 200$ pair but, who cares they work and they were even polarized! Great deals, today's fashions, I'm into it! read more

Great deals! The guy who owns this place is awesome, but the girl who works for him is terrible. Picked up three glasses who's nose pads were so crooked that it made the glasses crooked on my face. Asked her to adjust them or find new ones and she told me "that's just the way they are". I just think if you're going to be in customer service, you should just learn ho be nicer... or go work behind a computer all day. I don't remember the nose pads being so messed up before. I mean, I get it.... they're knock offs, but I can't have any sunnies crooked on my face. :/ read more

10/10/19 This is the first bad experience I've had at Dziner Eyez. I've been shopping here for 5+years. The girl in the shop could not have been more pissed to be there (bright red bob). She then tried to tell me that the store always sells the scratched sample models, when I told her that I've been here before she begrudgingly went to the back and got me the new version of the sample sunglasses. Please re-train your staff or don't have her as a shop assistant. I was so unhappy with my experience. read more

I have never been treated so bad in my life. I went in today and there was a girl with the side of her head shaved working and not only was she rude but rolled her eyes at me a few times. She had no interest in trying to help me and when I asked what the store hours were she rudely said hours are on the door. As I left I told her she was rude and when I was loading my son in the car she got on the phone and started to talk badly to what I can only assume was a friend about me. I'm shocked that this girl has a job at all. I always have had the best service from this place from the owner but I will not shop here ever again. read more

Really awesome place to get inexpensive sun glasses. I bought two pairs. This is a great spot, especially if you've forgotten your glasses when you hit the beach. read more

If you've ever been to Venice beach...you know what it's like to get some good, designer knock off, inexpensive sunglasses. Well, Dziner eyez is similar...except for way more contained than being on the boardwalk in Venice beach. They are located in a cute cottage type of a building, in Pacific Beach on Garnet. There is plenty of street parking (usually) or they are attached to a parking lot. They have excellent deals on sunglasses. 3 pair of sunglasses for about $20 bucks and any amount over that I believe is $7. And, they have a punch card....buy 5 and get the next pair of sunglasses for free :-) This place is worth checking out, if you want the designer look without the designer prices. Have fun! read more

I have an obsession with sunglasses (name brand & generic). Usually boardwalks like Venice or Santa Monica have huge, cheap sunglass shops but SD doesn't really unless you're in a mall or swapmeet.. Until I found Dziner Eyes :) lots of trends, colors, & great deals without the fake symbols. The only thing I don't like is their hours of operation. They have different hours for everyday so it's difficult to remember. I come here about once a week so I called beforehand once and the lady told me they closed at 6PM. I went at 5:20 and they were closed but there was someone inside on the phone. read more

I love this place. I don't like buying expensive sunglasses because I always am breaking or loosing them. Here I can get 3 pairs for $20 +tax that look good. If you are looking for some good sunglasses at a cheap price this is the place for you. read more

I came in here today not expecting to buy anything but I couldn't resist a good deal of designer-looking sunglasses!! i was easily sold!! I bought 3 pairs for only $21, two of which are Carerra imitations which could easily be my favorite.. In fact 3 of them are all now my favorite! The guy who helped us was super nice and even cleaned each pair of glasses that i picked out. Very nice little sunglass shop, really good deal, really good service! read more

Great selection of sunglasses and good prices. The only knock is parking is really difficult, not their fault, but walking 4-5 blocks is a bit of a downer. Still, whenever I need sunglasses, this is be place I go. read more

Just want to give this great business a red quick red flag. I've shopped at this place for years and it's a great local business. I usually interact with the gentleman who I assume is the owner. Great customer service, always. Today was a different story. A young lady at the counter was on her phone when I walked in so I walked straight to the glasses I usually purchase - I go through a pair once every 2 months. There were only two pairs on top of the box of sunglasses so I opened it and found the pair I was looking for. When I did a pair fell on the floor. My bad. She ran out from behind the counter and grabbed the box out of my hand. I get it it looks a little sketch, but wow. I tried explaining the situation and she cut me off and posted to the "please don't open boxes". I get it, my bad. So I tried to explain to her again what I was trying to buy. She wouldn't let it go, she proceeded to demonstrate to me how the box works and why I'm not supposed to be opening it, basically mocking me. I've never felt insulted like that in a retail store. I put the pair of glasses down and said "ya know what, I'm not buying glasses today". I was so mad I even cussed under my breath on the way out. Of a sunglasses store. In my neighborhood. I get people have bad days, or get tired of telling people the same thing over and over, but this young lady will cost the store business. Like she did today. To the owner: please respond once you've brought this up to the employee and I'll take down this negative review. Thanks. read more

Cool spot for cheap, "designer" knock-off sunglasses. Many styles and big selection to choose from. Most, if not all, appear to be polarized. 3 pairs for $20.99. Woman at the front definitely appears to hate life, but don't be put off by it. Just enjoy the cheap shades! Pro-tip: bring cash for parking as parking is tight here and the lot next door only accepts cash. read more

I have never been in until today cuz i have always been the snob sunglass wearer, but, since I am short on cash nowadays, decided to check it out - Autumn helped me and she was sooo great and I got two pairs of great sunglasses for $15.00 buck that are total designer knock-offs and they look great! I highly suggest Dziner Eyez! read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE! I went in about 30 minutes ago to grab a cheap pair of sunglasses. I had bought a pair before and lost them, so I was looking for the same pair. Upon entering the store I told the guy behind the counter what I was looking for. He did not even look up from what he was doing, he just said, "you are aware of our pricing, right?". I would have appreciated a little bit of help, but no biggie. Well, I searched to no avail and finally just found a similar pair to purchase. If you have been in here you know they have display glasses sitting on a box and the wrapped new glasses are inside the box on which they are sitting. The glasses I wanted to purchase on top of the box were scratched, so I opened the box to grab a wrapped pair. The worker literally SHOUTED at me, "don't touch the boxes!" and came running out from behind the counter. I said, "I'm sorry, I just wanted a new pair." He took the display glasses from my hand and literally tossed them on the purchasing counter and said, "that's not the way we do things here, we sell the glasses on top of the boxes. You don't touch the boxes!" UM WHAT? So I have to buy a scratched pair of sunglasses or I can't buy them at all? He acted like I had just committed a felony. I cannot express to you how rude this guy was, I was absolutely stunned. I know they are just cheap $10 sunglasses, but regardless of what someone is purchasing from you, you should treat people with kindness and respect. He didn't have to yell at me, he didn't have to rip the sunglasses from my hand, and he didn't have to make me feel like sh*t. Needless to say, I informed him that I wouldn't be purchasing the sunglasses and that he should be a little bit nicer to his customers. I won't be going back and neither should you. read more
