Appears the store has closed. I was interested in the Dyson trade in event. I checked the Dyson website and saw a store at Tyson's Corner about 40 mins from my house. I called the store to check inventory but no one answered. I waited a little while and called back with no answer so I left a message with my number. No one called back. I thought they might be busy. I decided to pack up my vacuum I wanted to trade in and drove to the mall. I went in and the gates were closed when the mall was open and their hours show open. Costumer service from David was very good. He was very informative and, with the hair dryer specifically, understood what my specific needs might be. They let you test the vacuums with small amounts of salt or cereal to pick up. I forget the specific vacuum but the floor was wet making harder to get salt up. The prices consistently surpassed $100. Buying the product was easy. The customer service in store was great. The process of getting the product is a nightmare. I have waited over 20 days for my dyson blowdryer because they were out of stock. I called customer service and they said the item was canceled because it was out of stock. They did not bother to notify me what's so ever. I even searched in my email to see if I missed that email. But nope. There was no email. Then I called them again and they are claiming it was delivered when it still HAS NOT! Now I'm out of $400 and no blowdryer and have to deal with claims to see what happened to my product. The communication, the shipping, and the phone customer service is the absolute worst. I If they don't have it in the store. DO NOT EVER ORDER ONLINE WITH THEM. Make sure accessories and full product is in your hands before you leave the store. Otherwise , it's a major pain to deal with them later. read more

Randomly stumbled upon this store during a visit from out of state. It was so nice to see all the products to truly compare and of course demo. David went above and beyond in helping us with our impromptu shopping experience. He is very knowledgeable about the devices and made it easy to understand the comparative differences and unique features. He was fully transparent throughout, polite, very patient, had excellent communication and time management as it became busier and busier with more people. I needed a filter for my Dyson's Air Filtration System, so I called the Tyson's Corner store on Saturday and Justin set one aside for me. I then drove there, not familiar with Tysons at all on Sunday. I discovered the store was in the mall and the mall is closed on Easter Sunday. I called the number and the staff was working. Called me back, came out to my car, looked at my unit and went back in, grabbed a filter. I asked if I could call in on Monday with my credit card since the store was closed. The rep said this one is on us and thanked me for supporting their store. That's first class, above and beyond service. I seldom write reviews, but after this service, I had to. The man is definitely a genius inventor. My earliest memories of his inventions is the red Dysons Red Wagon. I remember looking at it, but not knowing who he was. There a number of his products out there, the Dyson's vacuum is what really got my attention. The vacuums were so good, I recall seeing people stealing them from a Kohl's Department store. Loss Pervention was never around to stop them...(store associates were not allowed to stop them) The hair products I see are something I am interested in. They might make a nice gift for someone for Christmas. I also found the store associate to be helpful with the products they were selling. read more

Grant it i get the pandemic stores are closed but the chat and phone lines customer servixe no one is answering the customer service lines . I called /chatted 4-6 x and no answer regarding help onlines Then as soon as the malls opened i called the mall half a dozen times and no answer. I was trying to call to avoid going in person but with no success so i went to the store and 3 employees are in the store with no customers . I just needed assistance on what part the vacuum needs since i attempted everything to fix it . ! Then to make matters worst after driving 30 mins to get there and they tell me due to covid they are not touching machines. Well im not sure why but last time i checked most stores opening or who have been opened use and masks to help prevent most contact. Especially that the stores pretty much never get crowded and it is essential because i use the vacuum 3 x for my daughters severe asthma Even the small dyson repair shop in fairfax is closed until next week after 4th of july. After a few minutes of not being greeted, I approached her very nicely and said "hi, I have a quick question" To which she decided to respond with a devilish look and a pointer finger in my face. I recently brought my sleeping toddler and my broken Dyson to the store and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Anya and V, short for Vito i think, did everything they could to help us with the lengthy warranty look up and return. When my little guy woke up and became irritable, they were super helpful. In the DC area, it's unusual to get service from people who are calm, knowledgeable, and friendly. At the Dyson store, it felt like I was talking to staff at a 5-star hotel or a Michelin restaurant. UPDATE (9/30/2019): I went to the Dysons Demo Store at Tysons 1 again today because my AirWrap styler was having an issue. It had already been almost year since I had bought it but since it was still under the warranty they replaced it with a brand new one and even gave me an extra filter. They taught me how to clean it properly. I hadn't been cleaning it properly before which was why I had the issue so they were just helping me so I wouldn't have any problems in the future. They recommended to clean the filter of both the air wave and hair dryer every 5 uses which I"ll be doing from now on. It's really easy, you just need water. Guillermo the manager was there and was super helpful and kind as usual. He had one of his in store professional hair stylists Justin give me a refresher lesson on the Dyson AirWrap and Justin showed me how to do some of the things I had already been doing in a more effective way. He explained everything really thoroughly and in a simple way that I could understand as a normal non-hair professional. He was so humble and fun to interact with and very knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend to ask for him next time you go. But really all the stylists I've met there in the past were helpful. While I was there I also took a look at the new cordless vacuum cleaners and may buy one in the future. They have a smart sensor so you don't have to change the head when cleaning between carpets and hard wood floor and the LED display tells you how much battery life you have left. These new vacuums came a few months ago. They also had humidifiers and cool looking space heaters and fans. And they had cool looking lamps there that turn on and off automatically depending on the time of day and switch from warm to blue light depending on what you are doing to help with your natural circadian rhythm. Anyway, highly recommend this store check it out! You will have fun and anything you purchase there will be super high quality. Just make sure to ask for a lesson on how to use it and how to clean the filters. read more

We happen to be at Tysons and stopped in to inquire about the part and ask why and when this part would be available. V told us how the supply chain was affecting Dyson and would take our information. He momentarily excused himself and returned with canister in hand, then handed me the canister after testing it out. visited the Dyson Tysons Corner store the other day to ask for assistance with my girlfriend's Dyson hair dryer that I purchased a few months ago. This was the second time I had an issue with the hair dryer and I wanted advice from their product specialists on how to fix the hair dryer. The sales associate looked up my account while I was explaining the issue and then brought the hair dryer to the back room. The sales associate returned with the store manager. Immediately the store manager aggressively told me that the filters were not clean and that is why the hair dryer is not working properly and that he would not be refunding me or offering me a replacement; which was never my question. I calmly explained that I was not intending to return or asking for an exchange but I just wanted advice on what might be causing an issue with the hair dryer. The store manager would not listen and continued to aggressively say and then got into my face saying again that he will not be refunding or exchanging the product. He then rudely told me to leave and said he will be escorting me out of the store. I will never return to the Dyson store as I have never experienced that kind of treatment before in my life. I will be escalating this to the Dysons corporate team as I find this type of "customer service" completely appalling. read more
