I attempted to give a review earlier and was asked to give it before realizing my car was not repaired. I understand the diagnostic was 149.08 but was charged 575.93 to set it factory settings and it was still having the same problems as when it was brought in and then told it was my turbo. I took my Audi A6 with engine throttling to this location. They said it is the oil leak, and they fix the oil leak, changed all the spark plugs for about 2000 dollars then the issue with the car persisted and they claim it is the PCV, and they changed / PCV for another 2000 dollars, they call me few days later and said the there is a misfires on Cylinder 3 and it seems either they will need to rebuild the engine or put a new one. For close to 4000 dollars, the car is still throttling, shaking, engine lights and ECM lights. Great customer service but wouldn't advise anyone to take the car there. read more

I went to go pick up my car today after two weeks of being in their possession. There was a problem with the AC and couldn't figure it out. They informed me they ordered the wrong part and would give me a call, however, no one ever reached out to me. The only reason I knew what was going on with my vehicle was because I kept having to call them to get updates but of course no one answered so voicemails were left. Long story short, AC still isn't working so I ended up making an appointment with my dealership. Simple communication could've avoided all of this. I'm not even angry with this establishment I'm just disappointed. read more

Some months ago I had Dynamic Auto Tune install a new air compressor, valve block, and front ride height sensor on my Mercedes. After installation they told me they couldn't complete a ride height calibration because the vehicle was in an accident. Seemed like a shady way to get out of completing the job so I went to an Indy shop up in Huntersville. After looking over the work they performed, they concluded the front height sensor needed to be installed correctly. My vehicle was then able to be calibrated. Fast forward to last week....and I need a new valve block again. Needless to say I won't be bringing my vehicle back here. I'll eat the cost of a new valve block before going back here to warranty out the old part. From my experience, they aren't knowledgeable enough on Mercedes, and would rather rid themselves of the job after being compensated. read more

The reviews are superlative, either 1 or 5 stars, which is why mine is smack in the middle. Their mechanical work IMO is 5 stars. The issue for me is the communication and assumptive services performed without authorization. I've been a loyal customer since they opened and have been bringing in our BMW's and Audi for services and repairs. On more than one occasion they performed repairs without consent. This is unacceptable. However the work is superb and they do stand behind the repair and service. I really hope this isn't some kind of clandestine business model but it needs to be articulated to the general public. Scott and the younger gent at the desk are superb. I give credit where deserved. I took my Porsche in the hydraulic pump went bad. Ted told me the price of the part from.the dealer was $1900. I called the dealer and was told it was about $1550 for the part. I called ted back and asked him was the price for the pump alone or maybe some added hose it was the pump alone. So the next day I had my car towed to MpMotorwerks on south Blvd. These guys did the job for $1800 where ted told me it would cost me $2500. I asked the guys at MpMotorwerks how much they paid for the part and he told me $1400 so Ted upcharge $500 on the damn part. All trust is gone because I looked this guy in the face and he lied to me I told all the guys in the neighborhood cigar shop to stay away I told my neighbor and landscaper to stay away from this shop. They did work for me once and I was satisfied but once trust is lost I can't do business with you anymore. read more

Shitty service. Took almost 6 weeks to get my brake calipers painted and still had chips in them. No clear coat and on top of that my tag got mysteriously stolen but they have yet to file a police report on thier end even though they claiming 9 other tags got stolen. I will never spend another dime with them. If you want to get ripped off then go to them. They use to be a good place to go but now has turned into another shady garage. read more

I paid $2500 for oil leaks only to get my car back and it's still having oil leaks. They over charge for work that's not quality.

I see where the bad reviews come in. I've been to the shop a couple times now for a unitronic tune, brake work, oil change and new ignition coils. Being new to Charlotte I thought I'd found a place to take my cars. I decided I was ready to jump up to the stage 2 and have been waiting on a quote for that work because once purchasing stage 1 you should get a discount on your stage 2. After four days and two trips to the shop in person I've still not heard from the shop for a simple quote and have decided I'm going to have to bite the bullet take my car to another shop and pay full price for the tune and pulley install. It sucks because that's going to be a few hundred dollars more expensive but damn I'll pay extra for customer service. It is what it is. They seem knowledgeable but perhaps once you are a customer you're not as important as new business. read more

Took my Audi there to replace my chains and tensioners they told me the job would take 3 weeks it took them 2 and 1/2 months when I got the car I drove it for 15 days and it started leaking badly return the car to them and they let it sit outside in the driveway for two and a half months without even touching it after paying them $8,000 they care nothing about their customers they can't do the job and actually destroyed my car a one-of-a-kind vehicle which was only produced 10,000 units in the world 2000 only came to the United States between 2007 and 2008 it was my dream car and now I can't even get a fair price and trade in do not trust these people they overcharge lie and couldn't even fix a bicycle if you value your car you'll stay away read more

These are the exact types of people you think of when someone says "grimy Mechanic"....had a bmw that needed a timing chain, we were quoted 2700. Go to pick the car up is 3900.... They'd done of slew of bs that was never verified by us, various "cover replacements"... they take 700 off, we pay 3200 just glad that it's fixed and over with... drive two miles down the road, same light comes on and doing same thing from before. Take it back, now all of a sudden it's the turbo "a 3-4K job" he says nonchalantly. I plead with them to put themselves in my shoes and how that looks and sounds, no one EVER said anything about turbo they said replacig the 3200$ chain would fix the problem and immedaitely they turn around and tell me it's another 3-4k and that "it wasn't doing that when WE did the final test drive" as of to imply I had somehow made the turbo go bad in two miles immediately after leaving their lot. Then proceeds to tell me "oh we have one that's 12k to fix ..." as if that's going to somehow make me feel better rhat they're screwing everyone that walks through their door. I am very careful with who I let repair my car because of past experiences.
