Robbie was great and helped us get in and running again. Due to the amount of work needed for our vehicle, he helped us prioritize what needed to be done urgently and what could wait a bit. He also provided quotes for future work as well. Communication was great, and we were kept updated on the progress/issues as it happened. The place may not look impressive from the outside, but these guys know their stuff and prioritize cars and people over appearances. I have been going to Tire Country since early 2000. Since Danny and Fred left- the business is not the same. They don't communicate with you, my car was there 1 day short of 2 weeks for a repair. I asked if they could handle this electrical issue-they said yes. $1123.00 later.... my car is not repaired, my license plate was stolen and I have to pay another knowledgeable mechanic to find out what further damage they created!!! It was a fiasco- I usually don't post stuff like this, they are truly not qualified if you have an electrical issue with your car. Save yourself the aggravation that I went through- go somewhere else. I guess the empty parking lot should have been the tip off. When Danny and Fred owned it- you couldn't get in the lot. Danny is a very disrespectful man. 1st issue: We had a fuel leak, that turned out to be a fuel line issue. While "fixing" this issue, they broke the top on fuel pump. (Just the top cant be replaced, the entire pump has to be bought.) Now gas is pouring out of the fuel pump and he wants to charge us over $200 to fix it! I told him I didnt feel we needed to pay for this.... An other issue: Fred another guy offered to come out to our home to get the vehicle since it wasnt drivable, and after going around in circles, Fred just stopped returning my calls. When i mentioned this to Danny, he basically told me that I was a liar and i could call back on monday to talk to fred or not to call back at all! I feel that if he is the owner of this company then he needs to be a man and consult his employees, not just say "call back." Obviously there is a lot to this story, but I do not recommend these people at all. I believe they are careless intentionally so that they can continue to get your business. read more

I had some extremely bad service here today. For the purposes of this story, you should know that I am female. Went with my boyfriend to get a check engine light looked at. Spoke with the man over the counter. After a wait, the guy asked my boyfriend, not me, for the keys. I let him know [again] that the car was mine and handed him my keys. No big deal, mix-ups happen, they're busy. He had his employee look at the car, and the employee told my boyfriend [not me, even though they now knew the car was mine] that he turned off the check engine light, and to drive for about 30 miles to see if it cut back on. Well, it only made it about eight miles and cut back on, so we turned around. When we got back, the polite guy who worked on my car wasn't there, but a different guy was, and we told him that it had cut back on. I spoke with him myself. This was the first and only time that I personally was spoken to by an employee here, instead of being ignored in favor of my boyfriend. The resulting conversation: "Hey, my check engine light came back on." "... So?" "Well, the guy told me if it came back on to come back." "Well... duh, if the check engine light is on, then you're gonna have to replace something, you can't just cut it off." "But your own employee just cut the light off and had me drive 30 miles to make sure it would stay off." "... No... you're going to have to spend something to fix this, obviously..." *stares at me like i'm an idiot* "I'm just telling you what your guy told me." "It's not HIS fault if the light didn't stay on." "I'm... not saying it's his fault, I'm only telling you what he told me." "....?" *just stares at me* ".... ok. thanks." At which point I went right out the door, because it was obvious that I was not being viewed as a competent human being, but a stupid child who knows nothing about cars. I had done the diagnostic check myself beforehand, I knew what could be wrong with the car. I also knew perfectly well that just erasing the code in the car wouldn't fix the problem altogether. Foolish me for believing what I was told by a man who works on cars for a living. All I wanted was to speak to the other man again and ask him what he thought my next step should be. Instead I got treated less than human. I could not believe how he could be so polite to my boyfriend who is standing right next to me, and then turn and treat me so rudely and try so blatantly to cheat me out of money that he mistakenly assumed I didn't know better than to spend. Coming from a career of working various customer service jobs for the past several years, I can say from experience that that was terrible business practice. Don't give this place business if you're going to be perceived as a woman, and therefore, treated like you're stupid and know nothing about cars. Tire Country absolutely lost my business today, for now and the future. I was told that this was a good place to come to. Maybe if you are male, because it obviously isn't worth your money if you are a woman. read more

It's hard to write a bad review because they are very friendly. Unfortunately the price they quote is NOT the price I paid. My wife called and explained what we needed. They quoted the part and the labor to do it, and said the part was in stock and it should take 10-15 minutes to fix. When I arrived, they said it would only take a minute. About an hour later they came out and said they had to go to the store to buy the part (we were originally told the part was in stock.) 45 minutes later they told me that the guy returned with the part and I would be all set in 10 min. Sure enough, 10 minutes later they were ready with my keys. This is where it took a turn from bad to worse. They doubled the quoted price of the labor and increased the price of the part by $15. I didn't realize this when I was paying. When I called them an hour later to ask about the differences in pricing, they immediately dismissed it and said the part was actually discounted. A quick search on AutoZone.com showed the part in stock for a retail price of $60 less than what he charged me! (and it's not a very expensive part...) When I told him this he said he would give me $10 back so I could buy a couple of hamburgers with it. Upon a closer look at my receipt, the price of the part was actually written in at Retail price, but was scribbled out to add an additional $60 to it. Again, these guys were very friendly while I waited, which is why I'm so shocked that they pulled this type of stunt. I just feel that I got taken by the oldest mechanic's trick in the book. Tire Country has always been honest in dealing with me. they are very fair on their prices. They are looking at for you. They don't do work that doesn't need to be done. They do stay busy and sometimes it takes a little bit to get it completed, but worth the wait. I guess them staying busy makes me more comfortable in knowing others feel the same way I do. read more

Great staff! Patient and kind. Helped my grandmother fix her gasoline leak and charged her very reasonably. She doesn't have much to spend and they went out of their way to make sure this serious problem was fixed before she left the shop. Highly recommend this place. read more
