The service was nothing short of exceptional. With three hungry kids in the car and a nail in the sidewall of my tire, Mary-Beth was an absolute savior. She immediately put my mind at ease and got things moving. Clayton and his team went above and beyond, staying past closing hours to ensure my family was safe on the road. That level of dedication is rare and speaks volumes about the kind of people they are. Mavis isn't just a business--it's a family-focused operation that truly prioritizes safety and customer service. They deliver it all with a touch of Southern charm, making you feel like more than just another customer. They've won my business for life. If you're looking for a tire shop that genuinely cares, Mavis Tires is the place to go.

Only 11 days old with 516 miles on it. All the tires were new. They replaced the bearings & that noise went away. The 2nd time I picked up my car the tire pressure light came on right away & I was told by the manager that he wasn't sure this was accident related at this point. Again, the car is new. They replaced the part they previously put on & it has not come on again. The 3rd time I picked up my car I told them it was shaking at 65 MPH & had a slight drift to the right & was hearing a loud "growl-y" noise coming from the center of the vehicle. I was told by the adjuster that the alignment was showing all good when they test drove it and that all cars make noises when you drive them. I took it to Honda & they found the car to be out of alignment, and it has a damaged exhaust pipe heat shield that is probably hitting the exhaust pipe. 3 times I was given dismissive answers & each time I was correct that something still was not right. They no longer wanted to deal with the car. They wanted to close it out so they could get paid and it made no difference that the job was incomplete or that my car was still not in good condition. I would never recommend Caliber Collison to anyone. Their tag line is "Restoring the Rhythm of your life". they should change this because they did not come near to doing this. They have caused multiple return trips, repeated car rentals, many times having to take off work early or come in late for drop offs or pick-ups. And now half of a Saturday spent taking it another mechanic to find out what was still wrong. I have to again wait for insurance to approve the additional repairs and then spend more time getting more work done after the collision place had it for over 2 months.

When our Q3 was totaled in an accident, we wound up going against our better judgement and buying used from carmax. Less than a year later the transmission was giving out- luckily we had purchased the extended warranty. We only went to Tuffy because it was one of the preferred vendors for the warranty service so we assumed it would make things smoother, plus it knocked a bit off the deductible. The Carmax warranty company wound up being a monumental pain to work with and tried to get out of paying for a new transmission saying they didn't think it was actually broken even though it sounded like a blender with a bag of bolts in it when you were in any forward gear. Luckily, Chastity went to war with them on our behalf, getting them to send out a second inspector and then making sure that inspector saw and heard what they needed to. She then continued to go to war with them after they agreed that it was broken but wanted them to put in a used transmission instead of a new one. She convinced them that was not viable and that they needed to cover new parts. After that, we discovered that our transmission was on a widespread back order and the earliest any Audi dealership could get it in was going to be about two months. Chastity still didn't stop there - she called all around and pulled strings with connections she had, and tracked down the new Audi transmission we needed at another (competitor) shop or a that happened to have one on hand, and arranged to buy that one from them - cutting our two month wait down to a few days. Additionally, while we had the car in, we decided to move ahead with replacing the brakes and rotors which were nearing the end of their lives (rotors were extra worn because of a dust shield rubbing on them that Carmax didn't spot) because they were hanging a sale and it was going to be about half off if memory serves. Chastity reached out to me to explain that while they could put in the store brand brakes and rotors that were covered by the promotion, she actually wouldn't recommend it because for our particular model and trim level, there are regularly issues with the car's sensors not working well with the store brand. She recommended using dealer parts, which wound up costing about double what the promo price for the store brand was, so she gave us the dealer parts at cost with no markup to make up a bit of the difference (despite the fact that the cost difference was not her fault). Chastity and Derek were both far more patient with us than I would have been, with us calling way too frequently. While we will probably never buy another car from Carmax, Chastity has definitely earned our trust and we will gladly continue to bring our car to her in the future.
