I gave it a try as they recommended, but it wouldn't work. I called them up and spoke to Kevin. He said he would get me the correct size and call when it comes in. A few days later I called and he said it hadn't shipped yet. Based on the conversation, I think he forgot to order it. Several days later Kevin called and left a voice mail. The message was "yeah hi Paul, just a moment" and then he hung up. After calling the number back, I realized it was Dowco. Kevin was calling to let me know my part was in. When I went to pick up my $9.50 coupler I saw he was charging me an additional $9.87 for freight. When I questioned it, he became rude. He saw my Fedex uniform and asked how much it cost to ship a package. I replied, "Fedex overnights packages, we don't take over a week to deliver them, but more importantly, if I am being charged freight because you didn't keep your shelf stocked, shouldn't I have been informed prior to you placing my order? He was obviously agitated, so I said if your really believe this is fair, go ahead and charge it, but I think I at the very least should have been informed of a freight charge that exceeded to cost of the part. This guy doesn't belong in a customer contact position. If Dowco would like to reach out to me, I can be reached at the number on my invoice. My invoice number is 80395836 Maybe Kevin was just having a bad few days, but I don't think he needed to take it out on me.

When she got home from drill, she called around to get quotes on the part and got the part and delivered it to the shop. He put the part on knowing it wasnt the right part. She finally said f*** it and paid him $1000 for car watching. The car has been sitting in the garage since. Its very upsetting that people will take advantage of others for a dollar.
