It started about 2 months ago when my engine seized and I was stuck at the Infiniti dealership in Charlotte. They told me it would cost approximately $18,000.00 for a new engine and my heart dropped. I asked Infiniti who would they recommend to do an engine replacement and they said Christian Brothers. I called Christian Brothers and spoke with Logan, he was able to give me some good information on my situation and based on our conversation, I decided to have my vehicle brought to t he eir shop. Logan was able to confirm what Infiniti told me and offered several options on how to move forward. He was in constant contact with me every step of the process of replacing my engine. However, come to find out that not only did I need to replace my engine but also the transmission because it was damaged due to the seized engine. It was news that I hated to hear yet I did trust that Logan was being honest with me and he did work with me on the price. Also, other issues came up with the repair but instead of charging me for certain repairs, they decided to take care of the cost. When I finally received my vehicle back, there was some other issues that came up and when I called Logan, he was responsive and had the issues resolved at no charge to me. Overall, having my engine seize up and then my transmission being damaged was a very difficult experience and hearing bad news after bad news didn't help, however I trusted Logan and I trusted the previous reviews I read. Overall, this experience was very good and I would definitely recommend Christian Brothers for auto repairs.

The very next day, I discovered oil dripping on my garage floor. Todd brushed it off saying, "That must have just started." But after getting it inspected on a lift, the truth came out: this wasn't new at all. The oil pan had been wiped clean, but everything above it was caked in sludge and leaking oil. Now I'm facing a $1,500 repair bill to replace the rear main seal, valve cover seals, oil pan gasket, and even the oil filter housing, which is badly damaged. Todd also claims he performed an oil change -- if that's true, there's no way he didn't see these serious issues. This was not an honest sale, and he has not "stood behind" the vehicle like he promised. If you're thinking about buying from Tullock Automotive, beware -- my experience shows that their word cannot be trusted.

I do not like doing negative reviews and I share this with you as my experience, not my opinion. To anyone not mechanically inclined, be mindful. I failed my state inspection due to rear brake wear, which could have been possible as I drive alot for work. The car is 11 years old. I was quoted $300+ for rear brakes (just the pads). I've provided part of the inspection they send to you when they are done inspecting the vehicle. Also, I've provided a photo of what I found. Mind you, I'm no mechanic, but I do have common sense. As shown in the photo my rear brakes have 4 millimeters or more of braking material left. Not 2 millimeters or less as they stated. As a blue collar worker myself, I understand making a buck in this economy, however, I don't think this is the way to do it. My conclusion, I would not go back or recommend services from this establishment. On a positive note, the Service Adviser was pleasant and professional.

Yesterday, I picked up my car with $400+ worth of repairs I had approved to be done. When I tried to crank the car, it was dead, After reviewing the repairs, I noticed a comment that the lights had been left on overnight (I left the car there while they were still open-the lights were not on). No one from the shop called to tell me, and they had the keys-so, if they were on (highly unlikely) they could have turned them off-this is extremely sketchy. When they called me the next morning to go over the repairs-the lights being left on was not mentioned. When I picked the car up, they had to charge the car to get it going. They said to drive the car and it would recharge. I drove the car for thirty minutes. Got home and tried to restart-it would not. I called AAA, they came and checked the battery-it was basically dead and I had to replace it. Why did Firestone not tell me this, and let me drive off with a dead battery-fortunately I was at home ? This was a great store for the first year, but they are no longer capable or trustworthy. Stay very far away from this place.
