It is a pleasure writing a review for this place--it was a joy!! But before I give this place its props, I want to give my partner in dine theirs. Just like almost everyone, I have had bosses. Some have been good, some have been bad, and some have been ugly (not in appearance or physical form) but in behavior, heart, and action. That is the way of the world--not everyone can be kind and brave. We are not all Disney Princesses, after all. But I have had one boss that has turned into a friend. And she and I went to this spot. She selected it. We were celebrating an achievement in her life, and I was compelled to treat her to dinner. I did not bring this up before we went, but she knew that it would be my pleasure (and an obligation that I happily embrace) to celebrate her achievement with a meal that I would treat. She chose this place, I think, because she did not want me to spend too much on her celebration. That is the kind of person she is, undeniably considerate to a wretch like her. So if there is someone in your life that you want to impress but you are comfortable enough to not have to take them to a place with white linens and micro-greens, then go to this place. I cannot imagine this place doing wrong, at least not in a blunderous way. There was one hiccup--our food took close to 40 minutes to bring. I had a plate with chicken, salmon, hummus, and a salad (trying to lose weight again--this place lends itself to it), and the food took that long. I later asked John, our server, and he explained that salmon takes 20 minutes to cook. Once I enjoyed my composed plate with pita, hummus, and all that, the wait was long. Moreover, I am going to choose to believe that the wait was intended by the universe, for it gave my former boss and me a chance to connect on a deeper level. Meals like that are awesome. Places that offer meals like this are awesome. For they combine great food at reasonable prices with patient and attentive service, which all translate to opportunity for connection. To be specific, the chicken, the salmon, and the bread were all simple yet well done. It was flavorful. Obviously, you are not going to have food that redefines the word "delicious" in a place like this, but not every place carries this responsibility. Go to this place, and you will be satisfied. Again, it is clean, serves good food at reasonable prices, and, in general, cannot be described as anything but solidly good. Sometimes all you need is something stable and accessible, and this place is both these things, in a way that does not dazzle you, so you can go here in sweats and no one will bat an eye. Visited this spot for their viral Dubai Chocolate Cookie. I shared my dessert with a friend so I ordered my ice cream on the side (usually it's on top but I'm dairy free). The dessert was delicious but I was expecting more of the pistachio filling to come through in the cookie. There was a very small portion at the center and barely any sprinkled on top. So still yummy but it could definitely be improved in my opinion. The baklava was hard and tasted different than others I've had, I was personally not a fan. This place completely took us by surprise. Hidden gem, for sure! It is fast casual, so you order at the counter and then your food is brought out to you. That being said, they still check on you and refill your water, so it is almost a full restaurant at fast casual prices. I got the falafel pita with a tabbouleh side salad. It was plated so beautifully with a little garnish and sauce drizzle and all that. It was served on a ceramic plate. Everything just felt top notch, but we paid almost exactly or less than we would have at a Chipotle. My falafel was crispy on the outside and steamy on the inside. The hummus and tahini was awesome, and the veggies were fresh! You can really notice if they aren't, but they had the pickled items in there and everything. Everyone at my table got something different and we were all pleased. My only regret was not getting dessert, but I definitely will next time. This place rocks. read more

The chicken shawarma is my staple... I unfortunately haven't tried anything other than this because I will have a case of FOMO. The chicken is tender and flavorful, served on a bed of flavorful rice, and you can pick 2 sides (my standard is baba ganoush and hummus). It also comes with pita and the most heavenly garlic sauce! Every time I get this plate, I want to finish it, but I know it's a bad idea because of how filling it hits you at the end. Unbeknownst to me, my company had their food catered at the office, and it tasted the same in the restaurant, fresh from the kitchen. We had ordered an appetizer and a main course. The team was kind to bring us a sample of their most popular dish, and the food came out shortly after. When we asked for the bill, they brought out some dessert, and my goodness was that good. The food is fresh and flavorful. I have only started going here over the last year (2025) and I always think afterwards that I wish I had found out about this place sooner. I really appreciate the warm and friendly service, as well. Once during a heat wave I was chatting with them as they packed up my to go order and when they heard I was going to pick up my kid from sports practice, they just gave me a beautiful fruit plate to share with the kids. So sweet and totally a surprise. We have tried all of their vegetarian dishes, and some chicken and fish, soups and salads. All well prepared and appealing. They also pack things well. Wrote a bad review based on the chicken shawarma. Owner responded and said everything was the same. It's not. I tried it again on his advice. The shawarma is the same. It should be grilled on a spit and shaved off. This was again, small dices of chicken and this time it was watery. Shawarma shouldn't be watery. If anything it should be a bit on the greasy side. I was planning a get together for my son's 21st birthday and he wanted Mediterranean food. I did some research to try to find the best food that would fit in my budget. The experience: Once I called DVine and spoke to Jesus, I knew I had found the right place. I called asking information on their catering options and ended my conversation with a confirmed order for 40 people. Jesus was very kind, patient, and helpful in answering my questions. I ordered beef shawarma, chicken kebabs, hummus, and cucumber yogurt salad. He was kind enough to throw in all the pita bread, sauces, and order of falafel, and grilled veggies on the house. Fast forward to Saturday when I drove to the restaurant to pick up my catering order. I walk in and am greeted by Jesus who already has a few surprises waiting for me. In addition to what we had confirmed over the phone, he also added baklava, fresh cut fruit, and rice pudding to my order. Such a kind gesture. As he's bringing out the trays with the entrees, he points to the beef shawarma and chicken shawarma. I asked him if he said chicken shawarma to ensure I hadn't heard incorrectly. He could tell by my expression that something was wrong and asked immediately if he had gotten it wrong. I said I had ordered chicken kebab, not chicken shawarma. He immediately made it right by saying, he'd have the kebabs fired up immediately and personally deliver them. He spoke to the cook and before I left, I could see that the kebabs were already on the grill. After helping me load my car, he sent me off with the beef and chicken shawarma and assured me that he'd be at my home soon with my kebabs. Within 30 minutes of arriving home, Jesus was at my house with the hot and fresh kebabs. My guests were so impressed taste didn't disappoint! The food: The beef and chicken shawarma were very flavorful and juicy and the chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and succulent - not dry at all, which could be challenging to pull off with chicken breast. The sauces were a hit, especially the garlic sauce and the hummus was perfectly smooth and creamy. The pita bread was was not too thin and just thick enough to be the perfect vessel for the sauces and hummus. I highly recommend DVine for both the service and quality of the food.
