This review is long overdue. It's hard to find good/great help. The employee (Tony) has been to my house on to replace the water tank. I must say he is always prompt, polite, and he makes sure he protects your flooring due to the comings and going's. Tony is definitely a valuable asset to the company. Tony works very very hard and I feel someone should hear about his efforts and work ethic because you're lucky to find individuals that don't cut corners. Instead he is able to fix the issue at hand... each & every time!!! He goes above & beyond!!! What a value your company possesses!! read more

AZ Air and Heating, LLC, was our first choice to install our new HVAC system. They partner with Home Depot to give you added peace of mind. They have a professional team of certified HVAC installers. Work is completed in one day with plumbers, electricians, and inspections at a later time. They might be pricey, but their work speaks volumes for the price you pay. Our journey began with Mario, he walked through our house taking measurements, checked our old unit, and provided us with several options. His presentation was thorough and informative. The pictures of their completed installations sold me! You have to see them for yourself. The following day Marlon arrived to check our old systems water line. With that information we decided to upgrade from a 2.5T unit to 3T unit. They installed all new ductwork and registers to increase air intake, added a Lennox filter to reduce pet dander and allergens, and installed a new smart thermostat. Marlon's follow through from beginning to end was incredible. He was reliable and professional. The team was quite and left all areas they worked in like new. After installation, I had an issue with a light switch. Not a problem, Marlon sent his team to my house to investigate the issue, after a long day of work. Luckily, it was a simple fix, which his team resolved. You can't go wrong with AZ Air & Heating, they're worth every penny. read more

Costco contracts with this company so I thought maybe I would give them a shot . The person kept asking me if I need my husbands permission to make a decision. No this is not the 50's anymore. Women can make their own decisions!!! read more

AZ Air just spent one hell of a long day upgrading our out dated 1960's furnace, old ducting and no AC to a beautiful 3ton Lennox system in preparation for summer. Initiated through Costco, AZ air couldn't have done a cleaner, more complete job, the large crew of 7-10 workers throughout the day were all hard working, professional and polite. Their care for all items and cleanliness of our home while working was so appreciated and never asked for. They knew it's a home as so treated it as such. The methods used to install everything perfectly without a trace of construction afterwards made this a stress free end to an exciting day. The result is a powerful HVAC system to keep us cool while appearing as if it's been here all along. Our consultant and rep, Johnathan from AZ Air did a great job from our first meeting and consultation all the way through the purchase process, during install day and continued to see us through the required inspections that followed. His multiple visits from the long reaches of LA and clear communication made this all so smooth. We couldn't be happier with the product, appearance and complete end result. We are ready for the hot weather now, so bring it global warming. read more

I wanted to write my great experience with AZ air. Requested a full upgrade on my AC unit since my unit was over 20 years old. Had it installed in June of 2022 glad I did right before summer time! The AZ team came and installed it in one whole day. AZ air did a clean and thorough job. Had a little delay on my shop card but with just a quick phone call to CHRISTINA S. had my shop card the next day. Thanks CHRISTINA with being so patient and courteous. I highly recommend this company for all your AC needs. read more

They installed our new HVAC unit in one day. They did a great job. They did everything we asked. There had been a duct going to the garage, they closed it off as requested. Explained the unit to us and told us when to change the filter and have it serviced. Good warranty through Costco. So glad we got this done. AZ did a great job. read more

Mid August, our AC system decided to call it quits after 18 hrs of life. After shopping at Costco, they referred us to AZ Air Conditioning. With this in mind, we couldn't go wrong if Costco is partnered with them and gave us peace of mind that our new AC system is backed by Costco. When we met AZ Air Project Consultant (Mike), he evaluated our AC system and he made us feel so comfortable and not pressured about how much a new ac system and duct replacement would cost. We decided to replace the duct system too, since its still the original since our house was built in 1973. AZ team are true professionals all the way down to the installer level. Pedro, their lead installer, and his crew of 5 are top notch, hard working professionals. I had to leave my wife alone while the work was being done due to my duties at my office. But Mike, being such caring project consultant, reassured me that he would stay and oversee the whole installation. That speaks volume. Pedro kept my wife updated at all time, as well. When the job was completed, Pedro explained all the paperwork and showed their work to my wife all the way up in the attic. Boy, was she impressed. Being a quality manager for an aerospace industry, I know what good work looks like when I see one. Pedro and his crew did one hell of a job! I would highly recommend AZ Air Conditioning & Heating to anyone needing repair, cleaning, or new install. read more

I'm happy with the equipment and the installation but their customer service is the worst. They don't return calls or emails. I'm trying to get a rebate from the DWP and I need additional information from AZ. I have left multiple messages and emails to the "team " and no calls back. read more

I absolutely would return to AZ for any installation of a system -- they were brilliant ... SIX stars as the work people were thoughtful, clean, helpful, and terrific. Why only three stars? Because accidentally, one of the window handles was broken and I only saw it after the job was completed. Initially, they were terrific: someone came, took the broken part, and photographed another of the 3 identical handles and said they would replace that one as well. That was 4-5 months ago. I call, their customer service person, Monique, does not return my call and nothing is resolved. Why don't I forget about it? I'm 83. I did offer that -- if they couldn't find a replacement I would pay for the 2 new ones that were needed. No one responded to that either. This review would not have been written if I could have determined who was the CEO. I'll bet I would have gotten a response! read more

AZ Air Condition company is by far the best in California or anywhere worldwide, Their employees are highly trained, dedicated and professional, They came from Van Nuys to rancho Mirage,Ca due to extreme heat weather, they replace two air condition units and left after cleaning and organizing the house , all this with a smile on their face, The temp was over 100F. No complain just good professional and reliable service, The owner Mr Zaki is a rare find, Through the project he call multiple time to check that all is well, The following day even it was weekend he personally spend hours on the phone with me going over all the systems, I rarely see this kind of service anywhere in the world, I give them 100% read more

Professionally installation, hard working and they cover all area in my house, left no trash behind. Also, no one can beat Costco's price.

Very upset with this company. They installed our mini splits and that whole process went fine but then I keep getting calls from rapid duct testing. I think it's just a scam and they want more money so I ignore them. Finally, I answer and it turns out they were hired by AZ to come do duct testing. First off I got DUCTLESS MINI SPLITS, so make it make sense with the DUCT testing. Next, AZ didn't inform me that I would need this "DUCT" testing to pass final inspection. The guy came, and he was late, literally took two pictures and left. Like, what was that even about? There was no communication from AZ whatsoever. read more

This company pulled a bait and switch. I was approached by one of their reps while leaving Costco. I explained that I needed a whole home water filtration system. The rep assured me they offered that service after I pointed out that it was listed on their list of services. Within ten minutes of leaving Costco I received a phone call, text and email from AZ air. I spoke to another rep in charge of making appointments. I asked this person all the same questions and she assured me that whole water was part of the services they provide. The morning of the appointment I called AZ air to confirm my appointment. At this time I asked about the whole home water filtration system and again was assured that was a service they provided. Later that morning I met with the service rep at my home just to find out that is not a service they provide and that I was mislead. I would never trust a company that misleads you just to get their foot into the door. Personally I would avoid at all costs. I gave two stars because the rep that came to the property was professional and was direct when I asked him. read more

I found this company through Costco and I could not have been more disappointed by their sales tactics (borderline high pressure) and will not move forward with this company. Honestly, I felt like I was dealing with a car salesman who was talking over me, spinning bs, and not listening to my needs (he tried to sell me a 4-zone system when I only need a 3-zone system, and also tried to rush my decision making to get me to sign immediately). His pitch seemed forced and scripted, and ultimately I was left with a negative taste that told me "don't trust this guy." Frankly, I'm a disappointed in Costco for associating with this vendor and am posting this review to make sure others are aware of my experience and their sales tactics. read more

I have had good dealings in the past with AZ air conditioning and unfortunately, this last experience left me very angry to say the least. It took them 3 weeks for them to come out to even look at our system to see what the problem was. So after about 3 weeks of waiting with no AC, they did come and fix the problem. They told me I should flush my system and that would probably fix my problem. Which cost 4x what the initial fee for them to come out. Fine. They had fixed the problem so I paid it. But 3 days later, the problem happened again and my AC was out. I had called for the technician to come back since it was obviously a temporary solution. When I called back to make an appointment it was another 3 weeks for them to come to fix their problem. The person scheduling had ZERO sympathy or recourse and their only response was, well if that appointment does not fit your schedule I have another appointment 6 weeks out. There was NO feeling of responsibility of fixing what they did. Unfortunately, I would NOT recommend this company at all anymore. read more

Had to get a brand new HVAC for my condo and AZ Air Conditioning and Heating were listed as one of the best companies in my area. Tal was my point person and he was so helpful and explained the entire process step by step. It was a little pricey but the warranty more than makes up for it and the installation was so smooth and the unit works flawlessly. They also cleaned my ducts and did a beautiful and thorough job. Would highly recommend this company. read more

Mike was our sales representative he was friendly. We were doing acooling system for our parents, we were not able to put in a full AC system due to lack of space in their attic. Mike gave them other options and was very mindful of my parents age, he was patient and made sure they understood their options and the process of installing the cooling system that met their needs and was suitable for their home. Overall we are very pleased with Mikes presentation the company's workmanship in during the installation of the system. They arrived on time and completed the job in one day. read more

After checking out a few local companies to replace my A/C, I decided to go through Costco, and I couldn't be happier. Everyone involved is very considerate, respectful and professional. The work done was incredible and I can't believe I put up with a battered old, energy sucking A/C for so long!! Juan Padilla, the rep that came out was friendly and knowledgeable, and I felt all the power was mine to choose what to do or not do. Financing was easy, the crew was top notch, and after the work was done, not a single piece of trash or debris was left behind. I'd recommend AZ A/C & Heating in a heartbeat! read more

First time writing a review. I'm not sure why this company has 4 stars. Did a heating installation with them through Costco a few years ago and I have not had any issues. I recently worked with Christine who went above and beyond in getting me the best price she could for my upcoming AC unit. Tito was also great to work with. I would highly recommend AZ air. read more

I was connected to AZ Air & Heat via Costco...long story short I was given ONE unit as an option for my home and after they started was told by Tito that they had to bring in a roofer to "do the job right" to build a platform and then seal it. The installation team built the platform and the roofer came the next day to seal it...all for an extra $2300. I asked to speak with Tito's boss and was told that "Marlin" would call me back...well, "Mike" called me back introducing himself as "Mike from COSTCO Air and Heating." Costco or AZ? He asked me if I wanted them to finish the job - which was just to seal the roof - for $1500 or not. Unbelievable! Rip off artists. Don't trust them! read more

Bad experience with AZ servicing our HVAC unit. It was not blowing warm air. The tech from AZ came and after opening up the panel and check a few things he says a motor in the unit needs to be replaced. Even though the unit is just 5 years old. It is going to cost $1600. I felt it is a fairly new unit so that part should not break so early. I got another vendor to come and they found there is some debris felt inside of the motor causing it not to spin. After poking the debris out of the motor the unit is working again. It took less than 5 minutes to find out what's wrong and fix. I was not even charged for the service. So beware of AZ air. They are a rip off. read more

Well as Zach requested, I called AZ several times to resolve the matter "in good faith". First we played phone tag, then someone at AZ hung up on me for asking to leave a message for Zach, then I asked for the customer service manager and left a voicemail. And there was never a call back. More time spent and lost with AZ for no good reason. The reason why I'm not in the system is probably because my wife was the one in our household who was most in contact with AZ. read more

One of our two AC heat pumps died before summer, so we've got a referral via Costco to this company. Mr. Jesus Pimentel helped us with the assessment, budgeting out the systems and aftercare. We had an army of workers replaced and install the Heavy duty Lennox systems. The project was little pricier than the other bidders, but we went with AZ as they guarantee their work as well as cost backing them up. Jesus was great along the way with getting the signatures for the work permit as well as answering my novice questions patiently. We have a reliable AC system now & we are super happy with the results. We've got a nice rebate from the Costco too. Thank you AZ team. read more

Very good service, responsiveness and helpfulness. Called Zack and he had someone to the house the next day. The communication is excellent with text confirmation and our service person was pleasant and resolved our issue in a very reasonable amount of time. The flat service fee is fair and our cost of repair fortunately fell within the service fee range. I highly recommend this business. Hopefully we won't need them again any time soon but when we do a full replacement, I'll call Zack. read more

They did a great job. I recommend them to everyone. Call Mario for any question and assistance. He is a great person and very friendly.

This company is a joke! I got their contact details from Costco, they came to look at my place, the rep promised to email me a quote within a couple of days. I got no quote whatsoever but 10 days later their customer service emailed me to ask why I didn't purchase with them. Well, maybe because I never got a quote... then they sent me a quote just for one of the options I requested completely omitting my request for the second option. Either way the cost was ridiculously high...$19,000 to replace heating/AC unit, 70,000 btu for under 1,300 sq.f. condo, you can do the math... Very unprofessional... they never responded back when I asked what the cost would be if I just replace the furnace without getting the AC unit. So I never heard back from them... read more

AZ did a great job of installing a new Lennox Heat Pump two zone HVAC system in our home. The experience started with Juan who did a very professional job of quoting the system. The installation guys were awesome. We feared that the installation would take multiple days and we would be without heat for those days. The team arrived on time. We had 7 installers and an electrician plus helper. Everyone had their job and we're well experienced. There was a concern with the operation of the controller and the temperature sensor. Harry did a great job of explaining the system and making adjustments. Overall, we're very pleased with AZ's performance and would recommend them. read more

Let me start by saying I am a complete perfectionist and because of that, any vendor that works with me should beware! I got quotes from 4 different companies to do a complete replacement of two HVAC systems, upgrade ducting, install air purification system, and add 3 zones. I chose AZ because of Edson Ramos, lead sales manager for the company after our 2nd visit. I used Costco and took advantage of their 15% rebate (which came very fast after the job completed). AZ was not the cheapest; but Edson's expertise in zone mapping, duct reviewing, and his personal assurance to make me happy no matter what is what sold me. So here's what happened after I signed the contract and we set installation: 1) Install Day: 6 guys showed up at 8am sharp and went to work. Other than an hour lunch, they worked non stop until almost 8pm that evening. They tore out almost all the ducts, added all the dampeners, and installed the equipment flawlessly. The city inspector even said it looked fantastic. 2) Next day I noticed the airflow was weak in a few ares of the house. AZ came out within 48 hours to adjust the dampeners, and we were back in business. 3) A couple days later, the condenser outside was making a high pitch squeal that just didn't seem normal. AZ came out and tried to adjust it, but with no luck. This was a Lennox issue, not AZ. Edson again promised me he would make me happy and make sure this was addressed. After his consultation with Lennox (manufacturer), they decided to 'warranty replace' the condenser with an upgraded unit to their top of the line model as a courtesy for my trouble and time spent. 4) Today, condenser has been replaced. The system is working flawlessly and the house is extremely comfortable with clean fresh cool air. What I couldn't believe in all of this is that AZ, (even with a pandemic in the world!) came to finish the job. Unbelievable service level and effort. Thank you Edson and thank you AZ! read more

We were impressed with the focus and attention to detail demonstrated by the installation crew. We were expecting the job to take TWO DAYS (as advertised by the Mike Mendoza our sale rep) but the crew finished the job in one long 12-hour shift. Our family decided that it was time for us to have central heating and air conditioning in our home. We reached out, via Costco, to AZ and a representative promptly responded and set up the appointment for an estimate. Jesus, AZ representative, arrived to the appointment on schedule and he proceeded to evaluate the house and put together system options. He was quite thorough and friendly, open to answering all our questions. We decided on an option and all the necessary planning was taken care of by Jesus. The system installation took only one day.
