I can't describe what an amazing experience I had from Avi. My mother's unit has a 25 year old carrier unit that went down over the weekend. I needed a new 2 ton air conditioner/ heat pump electric at my moms house, so i hired Avi and AOL again for a second time. The unit was in the very back of my moms house and the crew got it back there, without needing a crane. They took some of the the old connecting ducting back to the shop where they refurbished it. New unit is great. they removed the old one, and gave me a week to get a tree removed that had grown under the old air conditioner. Will always be thankful for AOL HEATING & AIR, they replaced my entire AC UNIT in less than 48 hrs from when I initially contacted them. I have a one year old baby girl and does not well with heat. So why am I giving AOL a 5-star review? It's really because the Yelp system won't allow me to give them a 7-star review .... or even a 10-star review. This review is fresh off the grill. Let me explain. About 5 hours ago, my wife and I felt that the A/C in our house was blowing warm air. This may sound like a first world problem, but yes, we're that family that can't handle the SF Valley's 105 degree heat with no A/C. We also have multiple gatherings coming up this week, so we were dropping buckets of sweat thinking about this week. Did I mention that today is Sunday? Amazing how many companies don't have weekend services. I reached out to my home warranty (American Home Shield), and I got a message saying that they don't work weekends and will have someone reach out to me on Monday. I then called a couple of other places that had high reviews, but the call didn't get picked up. So I went down the list and found AOL Heating & Air. A guy named Avi picked up the phone and listened to me. Can you believe that? He took time to listen to my situation. He then told me he would be at my house between 2pm and 6pm, depending on how quickly he could get through his queue of client calls today. He texted me a confirmation right after our call. He then called me again at around 2:00pm, saying that he would be at my house in an hour. Lo and behold, he was at my house exactly an hour later. Avi came uniformed (which is really actually nice from a security standpoint), and brought an assistant with him. Together they listened to my circumstances one more time and then took apart my A/C unit. He took time to thoroughly inspect A to Z before letting me know what he believes is the problem. He kept me informed throughout the process and never try to sell me a thing. He didn't try to up sell me something. He simply wanted to do what was best for me given my circumstances. He was respectful to my family members as he entered the house. Heck, he was even nice to my dog. He was respectful, at times, it felt like I was the guest entering his house. He completely fixed my A/C problems. His price was reasonable. He was kind and courteous. Both he and his assistant were respectful and professional. By the way, he received several calls while working on my A/C. He was gentle and professional with each of them even while sweating through my project. One caller noted that he was a prior client. I had a great experience again with AOL Heating & Air. I schedule a tune up/maintenance service on my central air unit to get it ready for the upcoming summer. Joseph was the AC tech who came out. He called me asking if they can come earlier than the scheduled time but since I was still at work, I asked to stay with the scheduled time. When they arrived, they went straight to work. Joseph made me aware that the wiring were bad due to old age and that my ac unit needed a chemical wash since I haven't used it since last summer. I decided to go along with the additional service after verifying it with my wife. He also also told me about my freon level which wasn't that bad but also wasn't that good either. Overall they did a great job and kept me in the loop on what they were doing. He also sent me the before and after pictures as requested by me. Called AOL on NY Eve for my Dad's house in Granada Hills (I live out of town) ...he's elderly and his Caregivers told me the Heater comes on but the house isn't getting warm.
