This review is particularly aimed to their office staff. Their techs are good but the girl in the office has no idea of what she is doing because she quoted me $95 for the service (my first annual inspection) for the technician to tell me it is 85 per unit and I have 3. When I called she said "I assumed you knew"..How am I supposed to know how much the inspection is when it is my first time doing it and you quoted me $95 for the service and it only took 45 minutes but now my bill is $255 ?? Needless to say that you lost a client and several referrals right on time for your busy season. read more

Im a bit late in writing this review. September of 2024 we had a brutal heat wave roll through the San Fernando Valley and my home AC went out. Despite the number of service calls he was getting, Aldo found a way to make it to my house to get my AC operating again that same day! He also could've taken advantage of the situation and charged me an exorbitant amount but he was very reasonable given the situation. Just messaged them this morning and they were out this afternoon! Have a very old home AC system that I am not financially ready to replace quite yet. Last month, my wife and I had Aldo, owner of Campos Heating and Air, service our Heating and AC units. And my previous review indicated excellence with his work. Recently, we hired Campos Heating and Air to install much needed insulation in the attic of our single-story home. Aldo met with us after he inspected our attic and made recommendations regarding the materials needed to complete the project. After addressing some of our questions, we proceeded to have him complete the work. The team he sent comprised Miguel, Sabino, and Pascual. They worked tirelessly, carefully and competently. They even laid cloth sheets on our carpet to protect it from the materials they were bringing in and removing. Aldo arrived to accept payment and to inspect the work that was done within one working day as promised. We are now enjoying a more efficient AC system thanks to Campos Heating and Air. These guys did a great job for us. They arrived when they said they would, worked quickly to diagnose the problem, got the parts and repaired it and also did a cleaning and annual service. Price was fair and no hard sell on replacements or anything like that. Perfect experience all the way. We had ongoing issues with heat from our rooftop unit for a while. Another company came out and replaced a bunch of parts and it worked ok for a while but then the trouble came back. Campos H&A came out and diagnosed the problem (correctly!!), picked up the needed parts from the distributor and got us back up and running. Great communication as well. I hope we don't have any more problems but if we do we'll use Campos again. Happy to recommend them. read more

Our air conditioner stopped working on the weekend during a heatwave while my husband was incapacitated. I made a request on Yelp from another highly rated company and checked the box allowing other companies to respond. I got a lot of responses, but Aldo was the only one who said he could come as soon as Monday. No charge for diagnosing the problem (the company I selected couldn't come until later and quoted a diagnosis cost of $85.) He was very efficient, friendly and informative. He needed to replace a part in order to fully diagnose the problem, got it and came back and fixed everything the next day. Cost was $755 for breaker unit, new capacitor and servicing the system which was about 30 years old and hadn't been maintained. I can't speak to how competitive the cost was, but it would have been easy to convince me that I needed a whole new unit since I know nothing about it, and I suspect that many companies would have tried to do that. Aldo from Campos did a wonderful job in replacing the entire AC unit for us. We had been to two other service providers earlier (Real Cozy and Sahara Heating & Air - both of them have a 5 star rating). While Real cozy, service was taken last year, it was expensive just to get them come and take a look, and all that they told was its tripping out and you need to replace the unit. Fair enough, but the quote given for their in house unit was 9500$. While Oren from Sahara came in to check (again for a cost), also did the same thing, and provided a quote just to replace the unit. Was also quite pushy. Campos came in to check and provide an estimate for free, and did a completely thorough job in checking the vents in the attic. Their estimate was certainly reasonable for the amount of work they did and provided a detailed quote and coverage. Will recommend them highly. read more
