The condensation pump on our HVAC failed on a Friday afternoon leaving water dripping on our floor. After leaving a message with Premium Air. They were able to schedule a service call for Monday early afternoon. James came, diagnosed the problem, and ordered the failed condensate pump and parts. James and Isaac returned on Wed and took out the old parts, installed and checked all working parts within an hour. So glad to have them to call upon with any emergencies. read more

Although the dual zoned system was older (Package /Split using R22) Alan explained what was needed to tighten up the old units, replaced all intake filters, cleaned interior filters for a third mini split. Premium Air installed our HVAC system when we built our house in Camarillo 8 years ago, and we have been using them for service ever since. They do a great job checking our units and replacing the filters twice a year. Our most recent service technician, Isaac, was courteous and thorough. He explained everything he was doing. He diagnosed a few trouble spots and did the repairs. We also had a team that cleaned our ducts today for the first time (Alex and Jason). They were also very professional and kept everything really clean while they were working. We will breathe easy now! The office staff is also very responsive and polite. Premium Air came to service an error code on my thermostat which prevented it from working. I now realize how cold the nights get in January with no heat! Isaac came by, a bit later than the scheduled time, but since I work from home it was no problem. He was able troubleshoot and identify the issue and fixed my thermostat within an hour and a half. Isaac was very polite and also fixed the network communication issues which I forgot about (using the thermostat on the smart app), as well as cleaned out the drains and now everything works perfectly again. In lieu of an extra cash tip, I sent Isaac off with an alkaline water and a fresh, delicious chocolate Costco muffin. Better than nothing! Excellent service, fair prices, and it's nice to have heat/AC again, just in time! read more

He was able to replace it quickly and patiently worked with us through the troubleshooting, settings, and configuration process to make sure everything was working properly. I just finished an HVAC install with Premium Air and would highly recommend them. Tomer, Rafael, and the entire crew were professional, friendly, and thorough. I was referred to PA by a friend and Tomer came out for an estimate. My place is over 100 years old and I needed to upgrade from a through-the-wall unit. Originally thinking my only option was mini splits, Tomer recommended a central air plan that I hadn't considered. The quote was really reasonable and they took care of everything end-to-end. Additionally, they worked with some requests on my end to ensure I can access LADWP and federal tax rebates making this more affordable for me. I evaluated 5 different companies to do the job, and Premium Air came on top by my criteria: 1) full understanding of what I want and what I don't want, clear pricing, no efforts to up-sell; 2) clear explanations of what will be performed, and why, useful advice; 3) competitive price; 4) overall no bullshit approach. The crew performing the job was very professional, and the job they performed was very accurate, we immediately felt improvement in performance of our system. There were a few small issues, but Tomer, a man of his word, promised to fix everything to my satisfaction. Next day all remaining issues were addressed. We moved into a new home recently and used another company to fix our A/C at that time. Now our upstairs compressor just went out last week we called them for an estimate - which seemed very high. We went with Premium Air back in July, 2020. Everything is still working great, so 5 stars eight months later now. It was a big one day job, 3 or 4 workers, everything went fine. It was a complete replacement, so around $8,000 or $9,000 was about what we expected. We did not shop around, just said "let's do it" and kept our stress level down, they did the job, we are now cool in summer and warm in winter, what more could you want? We are in SFValley.
