I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Ideal Heating & Air. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time. To my amazement they fixed my AC in about 15 minutes. A part was broken and they diagnosed and replaced it quickly. My unit is an older one and I was really worried that the whole system would need to be replaced at a cost of thousands of dollars. When the bill for the part was less than $400 I was so relieved. Additionally Armand checked out the unit and told me it was in very good condition. Again, what a relief. In summary, they are prompt, efficient, courteous, pleasant and HONEST! My highest recommendation! read more

Arman came out and was immediately rude and abrasive. This was a service call provided by my home warranty company. So I think he was trying to get out of doing any work. The temperature of air coming out of my AC was measured at 68 degrees. But the second upstairs unit was measuring 59 degrees. He told me it was normal and that I needed to change my air filter. I told him I had changed it only 3 weeks ago and he called me a liar. He is a jerk and should learn better customer service. Second company came out today and found that the compressor was leaking and needed to be repaired!!!!!!! PROVES THAT ARMAN DOES NOT KNOW what he is doing. AND HIS RESPONSE BELOW tells the story. Why did the second company that came out today actually test the system and found a leak in compressor and will be replacing compressor. ??? Arman never tested for a leak!!! DO NOT believe a word he says. he will rip you off read more

Ideal Air & Heating - This was the air filter he claimed was dirty!!!! It still looks brand new. - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Chatsworth CA, California

Responded quickly and showed up when they said. Honest technicians that did a great job and went above and beyond. Thanks to Erik and armen.

We called at 6:45 and they were here before 7:30pm same day. It was quick. Arman found the issue and was done within the hour. And we thought we might have a serious issue, so what they charged us to fix a clog was great value in our eyes. We'd definitely use them again! read more

With just a quick search on Google We were able to find their company. Arman was so helpful in finding the problem with our AC malfunction and he helped me fix it. In my book he's in the top 5 with great service and resutls. Quality of service and personality are great. read more

A very professional company, took care of our AC issue immediately. Arman was very helpful and found out the solution in a short time. Specially appreciative in an L. A. heat wave. read more

"Ideal" was assigned by first American Home Warranty to repair our Air Conditioning. Within 20-25 minutes of their arrival the AC came on, blowing cool. I asked, "Are you done?" and was told they still have more to do. Half an hour later they packed up and left without telling me what was going on. I got the report back from AHW that there were parts missing and damaged wiring on my AC system and that it was excluded from my American Home Warranty contract. Now I have no AC, and no coverage to have a reliable contractor come out. I doubt if the heater will work when winter arrives, thanks to these guys. read more

Their service is always great! They installed a digital thermostat in our home and had previously done other work for our heat pump. They make sure to solve the problem you call them about. They have reasonable prices. read more

I was having a gathering at my home and we were all dripping in sweat when we realized our ac was not working. We called Ideal Air and Heating and they were able to come check it out on a Sunday evening within an hour. It took Arman literally 15 minutes to check out the issue and get it fixed for us. We could not be more grateful and happy with the service provided and at such a great cost. I could not recommend this company more. Big thanks to Arman read more

Ideal Air & Heating was contacted about the AC in my apartment at very short notice and were able to get over here the very next morning. We thought the problem was going to be the AC unit on the roof, but it ended up being the wiring of the ecobee thermostat, which they found and fixed very quickly! Very happy with them and their service! read more

Quality service! The nicest and got the job complete in a short period of time. So impressed with Ideal Air & Heating. I highly recommend you use them for your next service. You to will be happy you did! read more

They were sent out by first American home warranty to asses our AC unit. The report said that the AC was basically covered by mulch and plants and that the cement base was buried and was not visible (paraphrasing). The unit had no plants touching or even close to the unit and the cement base was clearly visible. The claim was denied! Their report, in my mind, was wrong. read more

Ideal Air & Heating - What a mess was in there - Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC Near Me - Chatsworth CA, California

So I tried using YouTube U. to service my own A/C unit and ended up biting off more than I could chew. I botched it and my house was turning into a sauna. In a panic, I called Ideal Air & Heating, and they came on super short notice, a true lifesaver. Arman and Narek took one look at the mess I made, and instead of judging me, they were super friendly and professional. They quickly figured out my mistake, got straight to work and fixed everything in half the time that it took me to mess it up in the first place. They were awesome to deal with from start to finish. If you need A/C work, don't mess around like I did. Call them. I will be recommending them to everyone I know. read more

Arman is the man! For 3 years we had issues with newly installed AC, and all other techs called to solve the problem (including the one's who installed it) were making excuses that our new AC is not going to work because of (laundry list of reasons). Arman came in, listened to the problem and all the symptoms, checked all the things need to be checked and 40-50 minutes later - AC is running like a champ, turning off when needed, cooling off the house in a reasonable time and finally we can enjoy our house even when it's a scorcher outside. Thank you Arman! read more

Arman at Ideal Air & Heating did great work in diagnosing the problem with my HVAC unit. When it appeared that a follow-up appointment was needed asap, he graciously accommodated me by setting up an appointment for the next day, even though he was booked for the next few weeks. It turned out that we didn't need that appointment after all, but I was impressed and grateful that he would do that for me. I highly recommend Ideal Air and Heating for your HVAC needs. read more

I've had such positive experiences working with Arman. Super kind and friendly and provides top notch service at a convenient price point. Very honest and did not try to add in unnecessary services, just explained the details of repairs and what to expect in the future. Always reliable and always a pleasure read more

Great experience. Used Ideal Air & Heating via my home warranty company. Timely responses and notifications. Service tech, Arman, was great! Arrived early (got an alert). He listened throughly to my issue, asked clarifying questions and in a little over an hour fixed the issue. He took pictures of before and after (my HVAC is in the roof) to help explain the issues. Professional and kind and did a great job!! I would use Ideal, and have Arman as my tech again. read more

AC started blowing warm air during a heat wave. Arman and Narek came through, diagnosed the issue right away and had it fixed in a few minutes. Went above and beyond to make sure everything was operational and answered every question we had with the utmost professionalism and care. Incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Gave me helpful tips to make sure my AC use was efficient year round. I never felt like a customer. It seriously felt as though they were doing for me what they would do for their own family. I am so incredibly pleased with the work they did and just the kindness they showed. Thank you for taking care of me and my family! read more

My AC stopped blowing air. I got in touch with Ideal Air through my home warranty. They came on time and quickly addressed the issue. I was always worried about upsell by AC technicians and heard so many scary stories. But this was the pleasant experience and I'd recommend them for anyone who is looking to get their ACs serviced or fixed through this hot summer. read more

First American Home Warranty company dispatched this business to diagnose our old struggling HVAC system. He showed up and I described the issue. When I told him two pipes going into the evaporator coil, unit seemed abnormally cold, he was dismissive and said, "they're supposed to be cold." I didn't argue and let him continue. He seemed annoyed the entire time he was in our home. My wife asked him how is was going and he didn't answer, just gave her an impolite look. His findings were an obstruction in the cooling lines from not having a line drier filter, so the txv valve would need to be replaced and the lines flushed. He didn't say this would be a denial etc. First American did nothing: they claimed the file was under review. I called this business once to follow up. He told me this was all First American's call. He was polite and asked me to text him. I texted him twice and he did not respond. This is all in the middle of a heat wave. I asked what he would charge to perform the work, no response. We had a second opinion and consulted other hvac companies. We were told the txv valve failure could not be unequivocally the result to lack of a line drier filter. I was told some of these valves have a high failure rate regardless of whether a filter is installed. This "missing parts" excuse is often an out to deny claims by warranty companies. I was told when our system was installed they probably weren't using drier filters as standard practice. Keep in mind, this system was inspected before and no one mentioned that to us. This guy had a horrible attitude, talked on the phone the majority of the time he was in our house. We had a horrible customer experience and I found his behavior to be rude and unprofessional. read more

Was referred to this company through HWA for home warranty work for an A/C that was shutting off during the day, but would run fine at night. Armon basically made every excuse possible to not actually fix/replace my A/C unit. First, it was the unit was shutting off because it was dirty. So he convinced me to pay $395 to clean the unit. This of course was not covered by HWA. He told me was absolutely certain this would fix the problem. So I paid it - this didn't fix the issue. My unit continued to shut off. Next, he tried to blame my Air Filter System. Saying the filters needed to be replaced or they were too restrctive. I had to tell him literally 15+ times they were just recently replaced and are absolutely NOT the problem. I have the exact same system on my other unit and that unit is working just fine. Then, he told me it was a freon issue. So he added more freon and billed HWA. Even though I knew the unit was not low on freon. In fact the next A/C people who came by, measured the freon and told (and literally showed me) there was 'Too much freon' in the unit, which I found out is very bad for the Unit. Eventually, he told HWA the unit was fine as this is what HWA sent me: "We have received the diagnosis for the recent claim you have submitted. The assigned technician has found that the system has no mechanical failures and has advised there are no repairs needed or recommended at this time." 'No issue' with my Unit? Even though he literally watched it turn off when it was over heating. He only said this because he didn't want to be involved with replacing the unit. Basically wasted my time (over a month) during the hottest period of the year. Plus, wasted $475 of my money on useless, unnecessary things. I eventually found a reputable A/C company (through HWA) who properly diagnosed the unit and within 2 weeks had replaced the whole thing - as it needed to be. So now finally my A/C unit is working again! He gets 1 star for being 'nice'. *If you are referred to this company by a home warranty service - I suggest you call and request to get re-assigned to someone else. Like anyone else.* read more

This is how service is supposed to be! I dreaded getting the "assigned company" from my insurance when my a/c went out, but Arman and his technician were great. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable... and, most importantly, they got the job done quickly and effectively. (I'm also giving them extra points for being careful not to let my cat out.) No drama, no upselling--just a terrific job and a happy customer. Highly recommended. read more

I'm wearing a sweater at home and it's 102 outside. Do I really need to say more? Arman came to my rescue, my air conditioner was not working a pipe was literally freezing, (ice) he came out the next day. I call at 11 pm I didn't expect him to come then, he was professional he explained what was happening to my air conditioner and gave me a sweet deal. He told me that once I corrected the issue which was minor thank goodness it would run perfectly. He didn't upset or try to throw in any extra work. I really appreciate that. He discovered how to maintain my air conditioner so I don't run into the same problem again. I'm telling you he's amazing. I hope I don't need him again but if I do I'm definitely calling him again. He's reliable and honest those qualities are hard to find in handy men. And in men in general lol. read more

Arman is truly the best vendor we've worked with. He helped us back in Dec last year when our heating system broke. Then today in the 102 degree heat he came to check on our AC out unit. He's very responsive, has a system to let you know that your appointment is scheduled, and when he's on his way and ETA! Having experienced some unreliable vendors, I deeply appreciate Arman's work ethic and communication style. And all our appliance work perfectly after his magic touch. Highly recommend! read more

I highly recommend Arman! Our AC crashed during the LA September from hell. Arman responded to my request within 5 minutes and came to our house within 3 hours. I was referred to this company from my home warranty to fix my heater. When I called, Arman responds with hello and that's pretty much it. I had to ask "is this ideal air and heating" and then he says yes and I start telling him what's going on. Then he proceeds to hang up and I get a text message telling me to text him the issue. Unbelievable. So, I text him back asking did you hang up? Then, approximately 20 minutes later he calls me back. I ask him, did you hang up? And he just says I got a missed call from this number and asks how he can help in the most annoyed tone. I'd rather pay more than whatever home warranty fee is than have to work with him. read more

My assistant contacted your company in order to repair an HVAC system. A technician was dispatched and gave a proposal to my assistant in the amount of $2,900.00. The issue we were experiencing is not related to the estimate provided. Last night, we contacted another vendor, and they determined within ten minutes the issue. The technician from your company reversed the disconnect switch to the off position and the condenser was not working. The system was blowing only hot air. The other vendor, replaced the filter, reinstalled the disconnect switch properly and the entire system began working immediately. The Freon levels were normal. The other vendor left the property within one hour and left a bill for $95 including their diagnostic charge and a new filter. The purpose of my review is for anyone to see that your company did something else and immediately provided a $2,900 dollar estimate. This is not good business practices and cannot be considered a misdiagnosis. I will be notifying the CSLB regarding this matter. read more
