We've reached out multiple times simply to schedule a vent cleaning, yet for one reason or another, Susan repeatedly brushed us off and never followed through. If scheduling a routine service is this difficult, it's hard to imagine how an actual emergency would be handled. This company installed my tenants mini splits in Sept of 2025. However in July two of the units where not operating. After numerous phone calls they sent out a Tec whom seem more interested in my religon than repairing the system. Needless to say he was not qualified to do any repair. I believe they sent him out to appease me. Prior to him coming out they had made 3 appointments with me and they were a no show. They than stated they would send out a engineer when they could find one available. After several weeks they sent this so called engineer out who told my temant to just turn down the thermostat to 61 degrees. I spoke to the manufacture of the mini split and they stated that the engineer should call their support engineer and he will walk them through this. I relayed this to Eco air two weeks ago and am still waiting for someone to responed I have called the owner Eli twice and no call back. I have also called the sales person who sold me the system no call back. It is now running into October and I am still waiting. And will post a update. read more

This company has no respect for other people's time. They are not dependable at all!!! They have waisted 4 days with confirmation that they will be at my home to look at my air conditioning that they installed, my compressor outside is making noise and I wanted them to come out and look at it before my warranty expired and do a maintenance service while they were here. Susan set up appointments 4 times and they continue to just not show up even with her promising they will be here. The most frustrating part is I received 4 bids for my new H Vac system and believe me they were all over getting back with me to get the job. But now I can't even get them to come out and do a maintenance or look at their warranty on their work. Be AWARE they will take the business to install but once they are finished you will never hear from them again. I want to talk to the owner to let him know how upset and frustrated I am but of course he's not around out of state or other excuses. I will have to find a reliable new company to maintain and do my maintenance on a systems they installed. I'm sure if I would have picked one of there competitors to do the job in the first place I would not be treated this way. Lesson learned!!! I'm sure they won't even call me back. I was the one that had to call them when they stood me up every time they were a no show, they don't even have the curtesy to call me to discuss or help in any way. I'm so upset that they treat there customers that spend good money for new systems with no regard for there time and no respect. And do it 4 times in a row with your word and promises that for sure they will be here to just waist my time on waiting on them? That makes no sense. Oh and don't forget about the appointment that I did make during the day on my lunch break that I came home and waited three hours for your technician to show and he never did also another no show that makes it actually 5 appts with no show, no call nothing!! If you promise a customer that you will show up and let them down without a phone call or text to cancel, at least show some integrity that you do care about your customers. There is absolutely no excuse on how I have been treated by your company. It's inexcusable. I'm not sure what's going on with this company, but surely there has to be something, Maybe going out of business or something not sure. I'm not sure what I can or cannot do but they are not living up to their part on the warranty, if they cannot make it to their confirmed appointments to check on the problem how can it be fixed? I contacted this company to provide an HVAC estimate for my home and also obtained quotes from several other contractors. Out of all the bids I received, this company's proposal was the most expensive. Unfortunately, my experience went beyond pricing. During the site visit, the contractor struck our HOA entry gate and caused damage. I asked for his account of the incident and shared it with the HOA. After reviewing their security camera footage, the HOA advised me that the events shown on the video did not match the explanation I had been given. When I attempted to resolve the matter professionally, the contractor declined to accept responsibility and told me not to contact him further, stating that his attorney would become involved if I did. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I value honesty, professionalism, and accountability when hiring contractors, and I did not feel those expectations were met. --- 8/6/26 In response to the Business owners response: I find it unnecessary and unprofessional to mention the value of the property in your Yelp response. The property's value has no relevance to the experience I shared or the incident itself. From the beginning, I was courteous and patient. I asked for your account of the incident and submitted your explanation to the HOA so they could consider your side before making any conclusions. After reviewing the security camera footage, the HOA informed me that the video did not support your version of events. According to the HOA, the footage showed your truck driving between the lanes and striking the gate that was not assigned to your lane. That is why I updated my understanding of what occurred. I reached out afterward in an effort to discuss the matter and resolve it professionally. Rather than working toward a resolution, you told me not to contact you again and that your attorney would handle the matter. There was no attempt to discuss the HOA's findings or resolve the issue. My review is based on my personal experience. In addition to providing the highest HVAC quote of all the contractors I contacted, I was disappointed by how this situation was handled after the incident. Highly recommended! Eco recently replaced our aging AC and gas furnace with a new heat pump, as well as new ductwork and two new vent cut-ins, and we couldn't be happier heading into a hot Valley summer. Working with Brandon on getting several estimates for different options was extremely smooth. He was friendly and responsive as I asked for either clarifications or new wrinkles to the plan and a pleasure to work with from start to end. The estimates were all very competitive, even generous considering the amount, quality, and extra detail of the work. On that note, the installers, Richard and Sergio, were true rockstars and deserve special mention for their meticulous attention to detail and all the little extra touches! Our attic looks MUCH nicer than how they first found it. This review is long overdue for what was a pleasant and memorable experience. I wanted a mini split installed on the second floor in my master bedroom due to poor insulation between my garage and master. Creating a "hotspot." I had been on the fence about it. But I couldn't tolerate the uneven heating and cooling of the master anymore. So, I did a qoute search on Yelp and at the end of it all, Eco Heating and Cooling came through with the most competitive price for labor! I had a budget in mind and they matched it! The owner personally came to my home and discussed my needs and plan for the project. We agreed on price for labor if I provide materials. Within a week of meeting, his crew of two came to my site and installed the mini split over six hours! The project was a massive success and I couldn't have been happier with the professionalism and ease of doing business with them. Everyone from the admin assistant to the owner all the way down to the laborers, I was exceptionally pleased. Word of advice. If you plan on hiring only labor for your project, always get more supplies than what you think you will need. At no fault to the crew, I was unprepared for the amount of material I would need. Due to the distance between the ground and the second floor, the mini split didn't come with enough condensation tubing as well as connection wire. So I had to track those down day of to get the project done. If I hadn't underestimated materials, the job probably would have got done sooner. In my defense, this is the first time I have ever done a project like this. Nor am I an HVAC expert. Nonetheless, the job got done! After about two weeks of research and reaching out to four HVAC companies - two local in Ventura County and two from San Fernando Valley, we decided to go with Eco Heating and Cooling. Not necessarily going for the cheapest one (because you get what you pay for) but was after the following factors before making our decision: (1) Company reputation - Has to be a company who's been in the business for a long time but at the same time has great customer feedback and reviews. (2) Reasonable Pricing - Not cheap but obviously not too expensive as well. Eco's pricing came out to be a reasonable one with the system that we wanted. The other two were too expensive while another one who came in as the cheapest was home-based so we were concerned about future support. (3) Presentable, Professional and Not Too Pushy Company Rep - In fairness all four reps who came to our house to do the free estimates were professional and explained the pros and cons based on what we needed. Brandon stood out because he spent time explaining our options and he was flexible and was keen on offering a better package than the others. Eli, who I first talked to over the phone, also sounded very keen to win my business (we did not feel that from the other companies, its like they dont care). (4) Clean and Orderly Decom and Installation - The crew came on time and went straight to work. Protected our carpet with rags, did not damage any wall during the decom and installation. They also cleaned up after their work and hauled away the old unit as well as all the trash. (5) Quality and State/City Compliance - The work quality is great, the lines were neatly wrapped (see pictures) , the units were leveled. I'm still pending inspection so we will see if its compliant but having a recent install on my other house, I'm confident this will pass inspection. Overall, we highly recommend Eco Heating and Cooling to anyone having AC or heating issues, repair or installation of a new system. Our conversations and communications with Brandon from initial estimates, scheduling and installation were free of any headaches. He even called us during the day of install to check with us for any concerns. Update from my last review, from last year, I haven't had two consecutive days of my ac unit working properly. During the cooler months, there were no issues with the heating from the unit. Now this year since the temperature has warmed up and it's time to use the cooler, the unit switches from cold to warm air by itself within hours of use. After much frustration, I reached out to another company to view my unit. Come to find out, Eco Heating and Cooling over sold me with the size of unit that I needed. My duct work in my attic is too small for this size of unit. They did not evaluate the size of my home correctly. Therefore, the installment of the unit was done poorly and may not be up to code. So as of today, we are working with a reputable company that will rewire, re-pipe, and install the correct size conduit for this 5-ton ac pro inverter unit. Stay tuned for further updates. read more

Hire these people! From first contact to final handshake as they were leaving, the entire crew at Eco was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. I was upgrading my old gravity furnace to a full heat pump system, and knew very little about how the equipment worked or what I actually needed. They sent out Ziv, their salesman, who did a whole lot of explaining and answering questions, with very little selling. His explanation (complete with sketches!) and willingness to answer every question I had made me feel like a real partner in the process. On the first day of install, the crew doing asbestos abatement arrived on time, got to work and were done practically before my coffee finished perking. I called a company on Friday afternoon that used a camera to check the inside of my gas-leaking furnace, then decided to get a second estimate. Eli was very responsive and sent Lance over to my house quickly. (He was on a job nearby.) This review is purely on my experience in the intake process. Very unhappy with the way they treated me as a prospective client. We were scheduled for an inspection estimate, and they never showed up within the 3-hour window. They used the old "we got a flat tire" excuse. After 3 hours, I was told they were still on their way but waiting for another job to finish. I wasted my time and gas as I drove two hours to meet them at my investment property. If this is how they treat their prospective clients, I can only imagine what their timeline completions must be like.
