    Had a problem when a nail from a roofing project punctured a hole in the refrigerant line. The roofing company contacted Airmatix and Carlos responded quickly. The repair was made and a complete inspection of the system prior to recharging refrigerate that was empty. Our system is working perfectly now and I was totally pleased at Carlos's professionalism and informing me on each step he was making. I will switch my current yearly HVAC service to Airmatix simply because I feel more confident.

    We recently decided to install a split system in my studio. We got three quotes, Oscar was the by far the most prompt returning our call, coming out to look at the job, most comprehensive in designing the installation, and sending our quote. We were convinced he would do the best job and be there for us if we had any concerns in the future. Oscar and his crew, Hugo and Manuel, arrived on time, were professional, clean, respectful, and detail oriented. It's been 2 weeks since the installation now and we're thrilled with the Mitsubishi system they installed. It's amazing! It's even more efficient and quieter than Oscar assured us it would be. We'd definitely recommend Airmatix!

    Outside unit

    Airmatix went above and beyond replacing and installing the Bryant 2 speed Air and Heat unit! Oscar was a pleasure to deal with and he and his crew did an Outstanding installation! I was so impressed from installing insulation in the air intake under the furnace to adding insulation above the furnace so we won't get a cold draft from the attic in the winter! Our furnace is in the hallway! Again, thanks to Oscar and his crew!

Leave another message talk to somebody they made an appointment and then they changed the appointment. It was from 12 to 4. They didn't show up till about 3:45 PM when the guy gets here, I had already told them several times that there was roof access. I had spoken to the maintenance ahead of time roof access in a building. Well, the guy sends a picture of a glass access with a brick on top and I told him there is a door he decides to not bother looking and just leaves does not come back to the unit does not say anything just leaves the job and I'm on the roof waiting and wondering what is going on they don't answer their cell phones. They just don't even know How UPDATE AFTER BUSINESS RESPONSE Thank you for your response, but several key points in your reply are not accurate. The appointment was originally difficult to even schedule, as I had called and texted multiple times over the course of about a month with no response. When I finally reached the owner, we agreed on a 12-4 PM window, which was later rescheduled by your team to the following day. Your technician arrived at approximately 3:45 PM, which is within the window, but what happened next is the issue. Roof access was clearly communicated multiple times in advance and again in real time. * I informed your team ahead of time that access was through Building A * I confirmed this with maintenance before your arrival * When your technician went to the wrong access point, I immediately texted and called explaining there was a standard door access in the same building These messages were ignored. Instead of making any effort to locate the correct door (which was nearby), your technician sent a photo of the wrong access point and then chose to leave. I was actively trying to reach him while physically at the correct access point, and even had a neighbor assist. There was no attempt to meet me, no knock on the door, and no communication that he was leaving. I later saw on camera that he left around 3:57 PM -- meaning the total time on site was only about 10-11 minutes. I have ring video to prove this exact time Your response states that you could not proceed due to unsafe access and that you were asked to force entry. That is simply not true. At no point did I ask anyone to force entry -- I directed your technician to a normal, accessible door that he chose not to locate despite being told multiple times. This was not a safety issue. This was a lack of effort and communication. Additionally, after multiple calls to your office during this time, I was told I would receive a call back, which never happened. I understand things can go wrong on a job, but the way this was handled -- from lack of communication, to leaving without resolution, to misrepresenting the situation in your response -- is why I left my original review. I'm sharing this so others understand exactly what happened and can make an informed decision.

    I came across an offer from an affiliate of Home Depot for an AC tune-up for $8.88. Thought it was…read morea great bargain, and I'm sure many of you would too. So I'm going to give you a forewarning, it's a classic bait-and-switch (i.e get your foot in the door and then upsell). I was recommended a hard-start kit (aka compressor saver) and an air purification system. The cost? $1,800+. I told the tech that that's a bit steep for me, so he said, how much could you afford? I said maybe closer to $1,500. The tech called his manager and inform me that they would do it for that price. Initially, I was happy to receive a 20% discount. That is of course, until I googled the PlasmaPure 600 Series and the hard-start kit they sold me after the technician left, and discovered I paid $1,200+ for 2 hours of labor. This was back in June 2025. Give or take 10 months later, my air conditioner stopped working. Normally, I don't turn the AC on during the winter season, but as luck would have it, Los Angeles is having record breaking heat. I haven't used the AC for several months, and I only had a tuneup a few months before that. So I called the same company to determine why my AC wasn't working (hoping that they would stand behind their work). Upon opening the equipment, the hard-start kit they installed in June had exploded. The cause, according to their tech, was that my AC compressor was grounded. The good news? Because my Lennox unit was less than 10 years old, it's still under warranty. The cost to install and repair it? Over $5,000...yikes! :-z But the $88 you paid us today to inspect the unit will go towards the cost of the installation. That's how they get you by the way, by offering you a lower inspection charge. Since this company pulled a fast one on me last time, I decided to get a second opinion. I called Around the Clock considering it was them who initially installed my Lennox unit. They sent Oleg Stopsky out the very same day (I should mention that the other company took over a week to schedule a tech to come out). He confirmed that the compressor is in fact grounded. But because I'm a repeat customer, the cost of labor would be less than 1/3rd of what this other company quoted me. Additionally, the $125 I paid to have them come out to inspect, would be discounted from my total cost. I wanted to get a 3rd opinion just to make sure. I hate to say it, but when you're a solo female, you can easily get duped. When it comes to mechanical stuff, most technicians just assume you don't know any better...and in my case, it's somewhat true. That's why finding an honest company is so important. I contacted a company that was affiliated with Costco. They said they would give me a complimentary inspection. They too said that the unit was under warranty but their quote to repair was more than double of what Around the Clock offered me. I was glad that Around the Clock was the lowest because they were the most expedient and pleasant to work with. So as soon as Lennox sent Around the Clock the compressor, the contactor, and the capacitor, they scheduled Oleg to come out the very next day. I felt really bad because my AC is located on the roof of my building and we had record breaking heat today. But despite the unbearable heat, he remained jovial throughout. He did a superb job and was kind enough to install a permanent dryer filter when he learned that I had weak lungs. And just to show how honest they are, I asked Oleg if I should install a hard-start kit as recommended by the last technician, (because the previous one they installed in June exploded), he told me no. That since we replaced both the capacitor and the contactor (which were also under warranty), it's no longer necessary. This is probably why he's been with this company for over 25 years...because he's honest. I also like that I'm supporting a Ukrainian business. No more paying technicians from multiple companies to come out and inspect in the future. My HVAC company of choice is now Around the Clock. I'm so relieved to have air conditioning again...hallelujah!!

    After 26 years it was time to replace our old Lenox HVAC system. I hired Around the Clock Hearing…read moreand Air Conditioning again. I had a great experience with them 26 years ago. This time we chose an all-electric Heat Pump and will not be burning Natural Gas to heat our house anymore. They are based locally and have been in business for over 26 years. They sold us our old system and we had another positive experience this time, as I'm sure you will too if you are thinking of switching to a Heat Pump I recommend these good people. If you are a Costco member there are occasionally incentives offered as high as 15% of the purchase price in addition to other incentives available for a limited time that help offset the price of a new system.
