Well here in the SFV this October turning as a hot one, due to Super El Niño on its way. So Friday night my ac starts to run warm air. 100* outside, 87* inside. So we toss and turn through a sweaty night. Called my installer but they don't work weekends. Called my BF and he recommended Zephyr. Called explained my situation to AI voicemail. Worked great actually was able to relay my info and issue quickly. Within 10 mins I rec'd a call back with a rep who had my info. No need to repeat. Said a tech was in the area. With 20 mins there was a knock on the door. Then Robert ( I Believe), appeared. Clean work clothes, and appearance. Tool bag in hand, and ready to check on the issue. Went up on the roof to the compressor. Checked it electrically and determined one capacitor and 2 starter switches were the issue. Causing the compressor to not start up to run the Freon pump. Must say the A/c was installed 10 years earlier. In 45 mins later parts installed, a bit of Freon. The AC was up and running cold as normally would. The value was as stated in the estimate. Most important was they were prompt , courteous, and Professional. And we're getting a good night sleep tonite. Thanks Zephyr read more

A huge thank you to Ruben, Francisco, Eddie, Dan and Chester. My central air and heat has not been used in over 14 years. I don't know why I waited so long to fix it, but it was long overdue. I'm grateful to the Zephyr team for their honesty, kindness, transparency, quality of work, professionalism and urgency. I'm telling everyone about you guys! read more

Kris has been an excellent help to me when I needed it. On time, very polite, very knowledgeable, & more.

Have installed multiple AC units with this company over the past few years in different properties. Fast, reliable service. Competitively priced. Highly recommend! read more

Curtis, with Zephyr stopped by my house to do a regular inspection of my AC system. Curtis was rude, condescending, and reluctant to answer simple questions, such as "what are you doing " I wasn't doubting. Curtis' skill(s), I was just simply curious. Besides that, as a homeowner I have the right to know. With all of the other HVAC service providers in the Valley, I would not recommend Zephyr. Unfortunately, Zephyr's lacks even acceptable service. Homeowners should take their business elsewhere. read more

Zephyr inspected my home as part of a purchase. They missed that the wiring for one condenser was not properly attached, which later led to a short with that unit, which kept blowing fuses as a result until another company fixed it. They also failed to discover a disconnected duct, which the termite inspector later observed and told me, so we got that fixed. They also failed to mention that the "downstairs" AC unit in fact also blows air to one upstairs bedroom. Not knowing this led to a failure to properly ventilate that room at night (since it was controlled by a cooler thermostat downstairs), and resulting higher VOC and CO2 values. We only discovered this when I bought an AirThings sensor to investigate a cough, lethargy, and other symptoms my partner was having. Stay away. read more

I had Zephyr do HVAC for a house we bought back in 2015. We moved last year and needed HVAC help again. Our furnace needed complete replacing, we needed new ducts, and needed AC. Kevin's team came out and took care of everything and we have been loving our heating during winter and super cool AC during the summer. Our AC is so cold I can't keep it on too long I start to freeze! His staff is super friendly and knowledgable, I have referred him to several friends and family members over the years and they all rave about how great of a job he has done for them too. Highly recommend reaching out to Kevin if you need anything done with your HVAC read more

Zephyr is just great. Second time I've used them and this time it was an emergency for my mom whose AC stopped working in middle of heat. They came out quick and on a Saturday morning, took the time to carefully check everything and were able to figure out and fix issue. My first experience was just as good. Highly recommend. read more

Kevin and his techs are the best! His teams of Pancho/Eddie and Chris/Ernie came out to our place and upgraded our 27 year old HVAC to a much more effective Lennox system. We recently purchased an American Standard unit. It was defective. Service calls from zephyr were outstanding in dealing with refrigerant replacement, fan motor replacement, and coil replacement, which was leaking. All the techs, Ernie and Moris, provided outstanding service besides being friendly and patient in sharing all their explanations. Owner Kevin also came by at the beginning of all these issues. Dan, who handles customer service, is simply the best. So responsive and quick in setting up service calls. This company answered all my service needs in a timely manner. I can't imagine ever working with a different AV company. Zephyr, from top to bottom, provides outstanding service. Hire them and you will never be disappointed! read more

Stay as far away from this company as possible. One of their tech came out to diagnose the problem I was having with my AC. He told me I need a new AC due to the fact it was 20 years old. He crack one of the plastic seal under my bathroom sink and stated that happen before he ever stated working. He charge me 125.00 for the diagnose, but never provided the paper work in regards to the issue of my AC. I made numerous call to the company but they never responded. read more

Ernie and Gio were terrific. Personable, helpful, very capable, and fabulous at what they do. I can't say enough good things about this company! Kevin literally saved my life today when my home's entire HVAC unit shut down in the middle of a 110 degree heatwave! We called this company in order to determine an issue with our heating system. A service person came and gave us an estimate. He was probably in the house for no more than 5 minutes to look at our heater and give us an estimate. We received a $145 service charge which seems excessive considering nothing was done. Plus...we we not advised there would be this service charge read more

Kevin and his team were recommended to us by neighbors last year. They were efficient, professional and well priced in installing a whole house fan for our home. The product has worked well and we will recommend them to others. read more

What can I say this is the second time I am Happy with Zephyr's quick and efficient repairs to our air conditioning unit which btw was for different reasons and both times their tech Moris came and did an amazing job not only with a great attitude but an honest and prompt service. They are the best! Don't bother with other companies who don't call you back or give you the run around. The owner Kevin is a professional and his team represents him very well. Congrats for being a great company especially during a tough time for many small businesses that are struggling to stay open your prices were affordable. I highly recommend Zephyr! Thank you! read more

Our heating furnace was blowing cold air and we decided to call them as our home warranty service provider was taking longer. Reviewing yelp the high ratings made be believe they would deliver. Spoke to Dan, service coordinator about getting somebody out and he was prompt. The tech was great too, it was clear there was a 145 fee to diagnose. The tech arrived and reviewed the system and suggested a gas valve and board replacement would cost 1500.00. Speaking to Dan the next day the feedback was that costs are high to replace 2 pieces and the best they can do is 1300. Our home warranty company A/C tech arrived today and the first thing he said was the components are ok but looks like somebody shut-off the gas. He opened the gas valve and lord be hold we have heat. The diagnosis was botched and boy am I depressed to even pay for the invalid diagnosis. read more

Zephyr Heating and Air are phenomenal! We called to have our unit from 1994 replaced. When Kevin arrived, he ran diagnostics, examined the unit, and suggested we try something more conservative first. He replaced the anti-freeze and cleaned and serviced the unit. It began working at 100% and is still going strong. Zephyr is not out to make money; they truly care about their customers. Kevin saved us, at least, $1,500! We will use no other heating and air company other than Zephyr. They are, hands down, the best! Thank you Kevin and Zephyr! read more

It was 112° and our A/C gave up! Kevin from Zephyr AC and heating came right away we didn't have to wait, and we really appreciated that he came with a mass considering we just lost a loved to to COVID19. We were sure that our unit was going to have to be replaced come however Kevin opened it up he did what he needed to do and saved us money in the process. He also saved our dog is life. Our dog stuck his nose in underneath them and almost electrocuted himself to death. Kevin grab him quickly and pulled him back this guy's a Saint nonetheless! We had a whole new hvac unit installed in our Cheviot Hills home in August 2023. Kevin, the owner, walked us through the process, never tried to push or up-sell us and gave us a very fair price. The job went super smooth and was completed in 3 easy days. Job site was immaculate, workers were polite, friendly and clearly very knowledgable. Kevin stopped over and checked things out a few times and we had god communication throughout the whole job. I can't say enough good things about how easy the job was. I read the reviews and decided to get an estimate. Kevin, the owner, gave us a good price so we decided to have Zephyr do the job of installing air/heat in our home. The crew showed up on time, answered all questions and cleaned up every day before they left. This was important to me as I have a dog. Our job was completed when promised and we are VERY happy with the results and seriously how often do you see every review with 5 stars? Thank you Kevin and your guys for an job well done!! read more

Jessie was so helpful and honest! He came on short notice during a heat wave and fixed the problem.

Several months ago we had our A/C serviced by Mediterranean Heating and Air. They came out for a regular routine service and recommended that we have the Contactor changed. We did it and that's when everything went down hill. They messed up our unit. They were here for 3 starlight days. It wasn't until I was fed up with them that I reached out to Zephyr A/C and Heating. Kevin scheduled an appointment right away and within hours he had someone over fixing my unit. I took about a day to have my unit back to normal. Not only was Kevin and his technician amazing and full of knowledge, there pricing is very reasonable. I will ONLY use Zephyr from now on!! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THEM!!! read more

Hands down, the best experience we've had with an A/C company in the last 25 plus years! Our A/C systems were dated in our latest home. We decided to purchase two split, four ton A/C units after receiving multiple bids. The Zephyr installation crew was on-time, courteous, & cleaned up after each day's worth of work. You could tell they truly enjoyed their jobs and cared about the customer. The owner Kevin made multiple trips out to our home during the bidding process as well as installation day to make sure we were happy. To top it all off, the Zephyr installation crew fixed an issue that five other A/C providers insisted would require a massive duct replacement project. We highly recommend Zephyr! read more

Thanksgiving morning woke up to no heat in the house. Called Kevin at Zephyr and he was willing to send help ASAP. Tech (Tony) was on time, fix the issued by changing out a blown transformer.
