Cool Temp was recommended to me by my friends who not only used Luis for their own house but he also did work for their daughter. Luis replied to my phone call for help immediately My daughter moved into a new house and the back of the house just wasn't getting cool enough. Turns out the HVAC system was really meant for a 2 bedroom 1200 sq ft. house which it was before it was remodeled to a 1900+ sq ft house. Luis recommended a 3 ton to replace the 2 ton one. He was very upfront about the cost and the time is would take, 1 day. He installed a brand he was familiar with and had installed many times. He said if it broke parts are readily available. The crew came at 9 am and was done by 5 pm, just as Luis said they would. Victor and Elie completed the work. They put down drop cloths on the pathway from the front door to the unit installation. Luis also worked on the outside unit. They were vacuuming and cleaning up by 4:30 pm. The price was exactly as quoted. It was a very fair and reasonable price. The AC is now cooling all of the house, just in time for summer! My daughter has signed up for the maintenance plan and I am certain she will always have a fair and honest AC person to work with her. Called today (Monday morning) and Ryan was here by 2PM in the afternoon. Turns out our condenser coils were totally clogged up so they couldn't do their job. Cool Temp Heating and Air provided excellent service on heating/cooling systems at both our residences. Their tune-up service is reasonable and very thorough. The company men are informative, honest, and don't try to up-sell unnecessary repairs. The owner, Luis, was great at trouble-shooting why our one heating unit kept shutting down. He found lots of corrosion in the circuitry, and tracked it to a water leak on the second floor which was tripping the safety switch every time water dripped into the system. He did a complete tuneup, which included removing the corrosion. We followed Luis's suggestion to immediately have the leak found and repaired before using the heater, and the heating system is working perfectly now! The tuneup completed by Travis on our other heating/cooling system, was very thorough, including a good cleaning on the outside fan unit. Travis checked every aspect of the system, and also was very informative on going over everything he had done. We highly recommend this great company and feel lucky to have found them. read more
