We had a couple of day heat wave and the AC went out. Robert at Save-on Heating has helped me out before. I called him on a weekend and he responded to my text He said he was out of town and made an appointment for Monday. I really wish to share how reliable and dependable Robert is. Especially when you need to fix your AC. He shows up on time and give me options. He replaced an AC system that has had it life span. We are very pleased with his work and warranty that comes with it. Robert does great work! read more

When our A/C died recently, I found San-On Heating & Air online. I saw and read many of their 5 star ratings. I called Robert first thing on a Monday morning and he came out within a few hours. He presented many options from recharging the system to replacing our 30 year old unit. Because of the age of our unit, we decided to replace it with a new and more energy efficient units. He made our decision much easier. Robert and his crew came out the next day and install the new equipment. I was impressed on how quickly he got the entire job done! In addition, his pricing was very competitive. I would definitely recommend Robert and his company. read more

Guys came to check out my ac which wasnt working. I ALREADY hosed down the outside unit. They did it again. Never told them too. Told them it was the fuses. It was obvious i just did it the hose was there...then they hosed down an airfilter in the house. Took 7 minutes. They replaced two fuses. The fuses cost about $20-30 maybe cheaper. They take advantage that they think people dont know. I told them it was the fuses. I didnt ask them to clean any filters. They charged me $225. Never again. 225 for 15 minutes of work i didnt ask for and 2 fuses. read more

Update: my new AC installed! New added drain pipe! Robert is so detailed and explained everything! He also replaced my filter to keep it all new! He will be my yearly maintenance person! My AC unit went out at the most unfortunate time. Thank goodness for Sav-On! I dealt with the owner Robert: He is prompt, knowledgeable, polite, courteous and affordable and his staff are super helpful as well. For the price, you'd be hard-pressed to find another AC company that can deliver quality and timely work and other companies would quote you thousands of $ more. I highly recommend Sav-On for all your AC needs! read more

The most awful thing happened... our HVAC unit stopped working on a Friday (7/27) night of a hot weekend. First thing Saturday (7/28) Morning, I called Sav-On to see when they could come inspect my unit. I was shocked when they stated they would be there in an under an hour. Sav-On worked hard to restore the unit to working order, but it was dead. Sav-On returned Monday (7/30) morning to install a brand new unit, that was up a running in 3 hours. I had some additional questions and wanted some additional testing and Sav-On was able to return Tuesday (7/31) and again on Wednesday (8/1) to meet and address all my concerns. After this excellent service and work ethic, Its safe to say, Sav-On is now my go-to for HVAC service needs. read more

Long story short, my kitchen remodel guy switched off the circuit breaker for my ac unit, and never switched it back on before leaving. The Sav-On tech made time to come come a day earlier than expected, he identified the problem in just a few minutes, then he fixed it with the flick of a finger. A shadier person would have tried to upsell me on some parts and servicing I didn't need, but these guys are always honest, and they have NEVER tried to take advantage of me in all my years of calling them. For example, today the guy REFUSED to charge me the full diagnostic fee since it was just a silly thing that only took a few minutes to figure out. This, even though I was completely willing to pay the full amount. That's integrity, that's treating customers right, and its why I'll always call Sav-On when my system goes down. read more

My Package unit stopped working at 10am.It was almost 90 degrees in house by 1:30pm I called Robert at 2pm and he was at my house within 90 minutes. He managed to isolate issue within minutes and had the AC working in thirty minutes. This was one of the best service experiences I've had in 25 years. The price was fair. The response time was amazing and the communication was excellent. I have no issue recommending them. Their work and results speak for themselves. Thanks again Robert! read more

At the height of the July, 2018 heat wave when temperatures spiked at over 100 degrees for a full week, my 82 year old mother's A/C unit stopped working. My brother called La Canada's local go-to repair service and they told him that they would happily repair her A/C unit...7 days from now. Seven days later? As soon as I heard that, I searched Yelp and found Sav-On Heating & Air. Lots of 5 star reviews, but as with any new company, I was hesitant to try them. (You my be feeling the same way right now if you're reading my review.) Please read on: I called at 3:20pm. Robert & Romik showed up at 3:55pm. The job was done and 55 degree cool air was blowing at Mom's house by 4:30pm. It took 70 minutes...instead of 170 hours. How's that for good business? These guys are professional, polite and efficient. They smile, make you feel at ease and respect your time. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Glendale/La Canada/Pasadena area. If you need AC help right now, give them a chance and call them like I did. read more

Contacted Sav-on about installing two mini-split units in my house, and I couldn't be happier with their work. They were speedy, competitively-priced, and went above and beyond what was required of the job (I had some damaged drywall on the same wall where the unit was being installed and Robert and his team were kind enough to fix it for me without me even asking). I'll be in touch with them again for any future HVAC needs. read more

Air Conditioner stopped pushing any cold air out. Sav-on was here in 1/2 an hour and fixed the problem in minutes. Had another company out and they wanted to charge me 3 times as much for the repair. Sav-on is my new go to HAVC repair team. Thanks Guys! Highly reccomended. read more

My husband and I had an issue with our old ac system, temperature outside was about 100 degrees. We called around a few places to get a quote on a new system since we figured we're ready for a new one. We had this company come out and the guy was not really informative when looking through our system. He left saying I'll call your husband. Didn't bother to give me a price of fixing the current ac nothing just walked out. I had another company come out give us a quote and fix our ac temporary since we have kids because that's the human thing to do right. Anyways my husband decided to give this guy a chance after giving us a quote even after all that. We agreed on a price but kept pressuring us to give him an answer. We waited about a week to say yes then he replied with prices have gone up it's going to be 1000$ more. Really a week and prices go up? Save yourself the trouble go with someone else. read more

My AC started leaking water and it turned out the drain valve was completely clogged. This was during peak summer hours and no one was willing to come service it for at least a week. Stellar service. I manage a house where these guys installed our minisplit units 2 years ago and we had an error message popping up and it wasn't working right. I called Robert and he came out the next day (on a Friday), even on the early side of the time he estimated and fixed it right away. That kind of service is not typical 2 years after install in my experience with property management and dealing with contractors. Definitely will come back to them for future HVAC needs. read more

Robert is very prompt and knocked out new system as soon as we agreed on a price. New combo unit and installed a new thermostat.
