Your quote was $10,000 over my next highest quote, and I got four quotes. I've done four bathrooms and know the process. With materials, your total would have been over $32,000. Again, for a 5x8 basic bathroom, keeping the fixtures in the same place, the cost was exorbitant.

Efrain is amazing!! He is a good listener, very patient, and really takes his time to pay extra…read moreattention to detail and make sure the customer is completely satisfied, which is rare today. I interviewed several drywallers, painters, and contractors before choosing EC Painting & Home Maintenance. Efrain's verbal communication and English is EXCELLENT which was very important to me when choosing a contractor to make sure everything went smoothly. I knew my project had unique challenges--unlevel floors, walls and doorways that weren't square or plumb, nail pops, and large settling cracks from a 49+ year-old building. I was very concerned no matter what I did things would never look "straight," but Efrain worked with me diligently to get things "picture perfect" so that the crooked walls and floors disappeared and became invisible to the naked eye when finished. From the start, Efrain listened carefully, answered all my detailed (often technical) questions, and worked with me to find the best approach--for example, reframing bifold doors so they would look straight and close properly when one side of the floor was nearly 2" lower than the other. I know I'm not the easiest customer since I like to understand exactly how things will be done, but Efrain was patient, explained everything clearly, and was flexible as we figured out solutions along the way. Also, unlike some contractors/owners who show up for an estimate but then send different workers to do the job, which often results in gaps in communication, he also did most of the work personally (adding 1-2 additional crew when needed) and was always available and responsive to calls, texts and emails, so there were no communication gaps. Whenever something wasn't "just right" and needed a little tweaking or change, he never complained once and made sure I was completely satisfied with the finished result. Efrain is professional, patient, communicative, and genuinely a pleasure to work with. His crew works efficiently and respectfully, and he goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks right. I highly recommended EC Painting & Home Maintenance for your next renovation project. Five stars!!!

He took the time to discuss the work, offer recommendations, and explain the best approach for each part of the project. They answered all of my questions throughout the project and were honest and transparent about timelines and project completion expectations. While many contractors can perform masonry work, I appreciated that GNC specializes in it. Their expertise was evident in both their craftsmanship and attention to detail. The quality of the finished work was phenomenal, and the results exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend GNC to anyone looking for skilled, reliable masonry professionals who take pride in their work.
