I would highly recommend Sea Beast Construction and Design Group. They completed the following jobs for us: *replaced our deck stairs, retaining the railings and front panels as requested *removed our old retaining wall, and replaced it with a new retaining wall *replaced our crawl space door *scraped painted our front porch ceiling, and painted the trim *reinforced the deck with an additional board These are the reasons we would recommend Sebastian and his team: *They came out right away to give us an estimate, and shared helpful AI-generated images to give us a rough sense of what the finished job might look like. *They complete the job on time. They worked quickly and did all work within one week as requested. *Their initial estimate was accurate, and there were not surprise expenses. *The cost was reasonable for the services performed. *They were flexible, adjusting the scope of the painting job and the retaining wall job as requested. *They were willing to come back and stain the deck stairs and adjust the positioning of the crawl space handle as requested. We feel good about our decision to use Sea Beast Construction and Design Group. We will likely use them again for future projects. read more

Great work, incredibly professional, very responsive...I would definitely recommend using Seabeast in the future

Had a great experience with SeaBeast Construction. My roof sprung a leak during the hard rains that we experienced recently. The damage affected the ceiling and a wall in one of our bedrooms. After looking at reviews of businesses that do roof repairs I gave Sebastain a call, left a message and he called me back very quickly. We spoke and he came out that day to look at the problem, I had a proposal that evening and I approved it. The work was completed in 2 days, and his crew was professional and polite. While they were working on the roof, I decided to get a quote on a deck railing replacement that I had been putting off, Sebastain measured the area and I received that quote that night. I accepted the proposal. Both jobs were completed in two days; his crews were professional and polite, and Sebastain stayed in communication with me during the work. I will have him back for additional work on my home and I highly recommend him. read more

This is a very good business. They just replaced my gutter. down pipe gave me a reasonable price and came over right away. Highly recommend.

I hired Sea Beast Design & Construction (Sebastian Barbagallo) as General Contractor for a residential project in Fair Lawn, NJ under a written contract in March 2026.. I paid Sea Beast $68,190 against the contract and separately paid $17,176 directly for materials I had no contractual obligation to pay -- $85,366 total -- yet MULTIPLE major scope items remained incomplete or not meaningfully progressed with only weeks left on the schedule. These included the porticos, exterior brick samples, simple framing and finish details, unable to install simple door hardware, the HVAC condenser pad (the condenser itself was paid for but not on site), step repointing and masonry, main electrical service, exterior hardware, interior doors (despite a $3,000 advance for them), and the kitchen, which was never properly coordinated, ordered or released. Sea Beast also failed to provide the conditional lien waivers, a simple bill that wasn't a demand for money that needs to be today which was required with each progress payment, and continued to demand additional payment while materially overbilled relative to work completed. I issued a formal Notice of Performance Issue on April 4, 2026 requiring a written cure plan, manpower and sequencing plan, procurement status, revised schedule, lien waivers, and payment reconciliation. Sea Beast acknowledged receipt but did not provide the required cure documentation. I issued a Notice of Default on April 8, 2026 under the contract's default provision, which required cure commencement within 36 hours. The required cure was not provided. I terminated the contract for default and am pursuing damages. I would not hire Sea Beast Design & Construction again and would not recommend them for residential general contracting work. I've filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the NJ Division of Consumer Affairs. read more

We had a great experience with these guys. The quote was accurate, they rearranged the work schedule to meet our unique needs, and the work exceeded our expectations. The owner Sebastian was responsive and worked closely with us to formulate a plan that met our budget and renovation goals. He even made some very creative design suggestions that we would have never thought of that ended up making our home look better than we ever imagined. We have since recommended him to 2 friends who have had similar experiences. I highly recommend this company. Thanks again Sebastian! read more

I hired Seabeast Construction from Yelp to fix my roof. Sebastian was onsite to give me a free quote the very next day, before any other vendors had even reached out. He brought along an HVAC expert as well to fix my HVAC issue which I mentioned to him. He gave a very fair price, was super nice and a pleasure to deal with, provided his insurance information, and showed up the next day to complete the work. He provided before and after pictures of the roof which was very helpful. He personally supervised the work that was completed by his worker. Overall, it was a pleasure to work with Sebastian and Seabeast Construction. I would highly recommend them to anyone! read more

Sebastian is so much fun to work with. He is creative and has such good ideas. I wanted to put folding stairs up to my useless attic. There I store items not presently needed but not ready for the garbage heap. Sebastian was the first to answer my call and his ideas captured me into rejecting other later applicants. After the stairs came the wonderful suggestion of reconstructing one section of the attic. In this space I could walk standing up and a beautiful bedroom and office was constructed. The work was done quickly and professionally. By Christmas I had an extra bedroom to accommodate my many overnight visitors, particularly grandchildren. The transformation is magical. Here is a picture of before and after. I am hoping to continue with this construction in some months under Sebastian's visionary supervision read more
