UPDATE 4/7/2026: Dan Cannizzo said he used a bad concrete mix and he is not responsible for it. He assured me that he will not be doing anything at all to fix it. He was extremely rude and completely unprofessional. This company is a scam. Stay far away. We hired GNC General Construction to pour a new concrete patio and to redo our front steps, which were very uneven. They also replaced our old, rotted support columns. They initially did what I thought was a fantastic job. They work hard and everything went pretty smoothly. Even after the bill was paid, I noticed a minor issue that they came back to resolve very quickly. They gave a 10-year warranty on the patio, which it turns out is useless. Fast forward a few months and after the snow, there are lots of areas where the concrete has started delaminating and coming apart in pieces. I called and initially spoke with Fabio Giordano, who claimed that Dan Cannizzo bought that part of the business and is responsible for fixing it. I then called and spoke with Dan Cannizzo about the problem and he assured me that he'd be in touch in a day or 2 to come and see it. Since that time, he hasn't contacted me or responded to a single call or text. I feel this business is scamming me, since I can't get in touch with anyone to repair the damaged caused by shoddy workmanship. read more

This past month, I had three sidewalks slabs that needed to be replace due to roots from a tree planted in the township owned section of land in front of the house. GNC came out a day after being contacted and gave a thorough explanation of the costs and process required.
