It is an introvert's nightmare to go to Dutch Bros Coffee where everyone who works there is overwhelmingly friendly and rather nosy asking very direct questions and wanting to know about your day and upcoming weekend plans. Fortunately, I'm an extrovert, and I eat it all up! I enjoy the experience of going to Dutch Bros, especially when I feel like a hot chocolate and some positive energy. That's how I felt this morning when I arrived to the ASU Tempe Campus, and as expected, I had a great experience! With so many college students at this particular location, I feel that it is loaded with some wonderful personalities and energy. When I arrive to the walk-up counter, I typically expect a line of students and staff, but today no one was in line around 8:15 AM. I ordered my medium hot cocoa, and it came out just right in temperature and very tasty. I love the stoppers, which I got one to help it last a bit longer as I walked to my office. There are many flavors of hot cocoa, 23 in fact according to their website (https://www.dutchbros.com/menu/hot-cocoa). My favorite is the tuxedo, which I ordered today. That has a mix of white chocolate and dark chocolate. I have a feeling that will continue to be my regular drink order for a long time. First let me say I am probably outside their target market as it is next to the ASU campus. I do not drink all the what I call foo-foo coffee drinks. I like coffee and all I wanted was a large drip coffee as I am an old-school coffee guy. When I ordered the counter person looked at me like "what do you want, what is drip coffee?" Well, they do not have just a "coffee." So I ordered a Americano instead after the girl tried to explain to me what they were and before she could finish my reply was I make them every day. Well the Americano was supposed to be hot with cream and they gave me an iced. They corrected it to a hot but did not add the cream. Once I got it right it was a solid Americano. They do offer a nice selection and make good drinks. They have a drive thru and walk up window. This is really just a grab and go place. Do not plan to sit and enjoy a coffee to visit with friends or work. This location does not have a lot to offer except coffee drinks, there is no "ambiance." I will be back to other Dutch Bros with the correct expectations on what they have and I order. read more

I love Dutch bros but not this location, I've given this one a chance 4-5 times and my coffee always tastes watered down. I usually get the iced golden eagle from the mill location which they make perfectly and for some reason this location never makes it right, they always make it as a darker brown color with no caramel and is gross. Also one time I tried a seasonal drink, something with cinnamon and I felt sick to my stomach the whole day after it. Service is nice though. read more

This is my favorite Dutch Bros to go to for sticker days. It's located right on the ASU campus (basically) and not too far from my wife's workplace. Easy to swing by first thing in the morning and grab our drinks and a pair of stickers. My go-to drink is a large iced peach ring lemonade and my wife usually goes with the large hot cinnamon spice tea. The service is quick here in a Dutch-style of asking you some questions which we never mind. "How are you?" "What do you have planned today?" Nice things like that really get you thinking early in the morning and begin to actually look forward to your day. Love that they'll come out and take your order before you get to the window as that really speeds things along. Our drinks always come out right and are respectively cold and hot and delicious. Definitely stop by when you're in the area. If you've lived here long enough, you'll recognize the spot as the old SNOW location. read more

I love the choices of drinks on the menu. I think it is much better tasting than its major competitor. The coffee drinks are not bitter and my stomach doesn't get upset like it does at the other large chain. The creativity of coffee drinks is really cool. They come up with some very good combinations. As far as convenience, the drive through is not well organized. The parking lot is a bit difficult to navigate. The walk up is much more convenient and faster. We had to park on the side at another business but it was still much faster than waiting in the drive through. The service, though I don't frequent this place, has always been very friendly and helpful when explaining the menu options. A bit expensive, but most coffee shops are. I think mine cost nearly $7. Ugh I do recommend this place if you need that coffee fix! Especially over the competition. read more

This drink includes coffee and was perhaps one of the most delicious drinks I've ever had. So good. The cashier was very very friendly and tolerated my confusion at the register. Usually this place is awesome. This evening, however, I ordered the Cocomo with oat milk. I'm nearly 100% certain they made it with actual milk. I am severely lactose intolerant. I thought it tasted off, but my sense of smell and taste have been muted ever since I contracted covid. My wife and I had an evening planned, but we ended up having to go back home. For those who are not afflicted with this "intolerance," the symptoms, for me anyway, are intense and painful abdominal cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea. It's exceptionally uncomfortable... This was a great place! We are from out of town and have never been to a Dutch bros before - we don't have them on the east coast. I would compare it to a bougie Dunkin Donuts. The drive thru attendees are so polite! And welcoming! Their service is what really made the five stars! The coffee options are mostly big calorie bombs but if that's what you're looking for this is the place! Limited food options, but also fine. Don't expect to find a whole meal here but they do have pastry sweets. The coffee was okay but the vibes were great, take that as you will. There is usually a long drive thru line so if you are looking for a quick stop this is probably not it. They do have an app though which is always a perk. read more

So took a drive out to Dutch across from asu. I ordered a light ice rebel. Annnnd this was it, no I haven't even sipped on it yet, a little heads up that over a third of my 8 dollar beverage would not be included would've been nice. It seems like they purposely tried to rub it in my face for getting "light ice" this is a bit ridiculous, especially for AN 8 DOLLAR RED BULL, with some syrup in it. Even the people behind me in line laughed their butts of when old girl served me up. I've never had an issue with other Dutches across the valley when asking for a hit less ice, will not be returning. read more

Dutch bros is great and the coffee is good. The employees were super nice as well. My only concern are the mother freakin' bees! They were flying around everywhere in this location. I think they're actually coming from INSIDE the store, because the side window has a bunch of bees flying around in it as if they have a hive there. I feel really bad for the employees. She wouldn't tell her name and said she didn't know her lead's name, so we don't have that info to give. She wouldn't even look or talk to us, let alone stay on the window to interact with customers. This is not Dutch culture at all, as DB employees we came to visit another stand and they ruined the experience. When ordering my drink I added modifications, when i got to the window and i tried to clarify that's how it was being made there was attitude given and she was mad even though i had already communicated that with their LB. It also took me 4 times to get her attention because again she had her back turned and was talking inside rather than paying attention to DW. I used to have a complaint that all locations had a horrendous habit of having employees nearly crawl into your car and have an uncomfortably close rapport building session by brute force.
