WORST DUTCH IN SALEM - the flavors are always off - drinks are watered down. - they don't fill drinks all the way - they wont serve you in order of wait time. Another car and I were waiting for 15 minutes in line. Instead of asking the next person in line for their drink, they went to a car that just showed up and then me. The person ahead had to order at the window because no one took their order the whole time we were waiting.when I asked them why they didn't go in order of who was there first, they said "that's just how it is". Day shift has cool and nice people. Evening is the worst. Your drink will most likely be wrong. read more

At the walkup window, a sign told customers to get in line with the cars. I do not think that this is safe so I stood off to the side where they could see me from a window. After 3 cars passed, they asked if I was waiting. I said yes, and that I am behind the blue car that was currently at the window. Nobody came out to ask my order. I guess they don't want walk up customers, as it is not safe to ask their customers to stand amongst the cars. After another 5 cars pulled through and I still didnt get helped, I left. Came up with no real expectations only than some family members saying this was the coffee place to go in Portland. Went there and we were met with a smiling man to walk us through the process. Had some dietary preferences that he was able to take and highlight what we could get. Even better for the first time it was free! We pulled around and while we were waiting for our drinks the baristas struck up a great conversation and really tried to get to know us for a short while. It was a nice change of events for us, and since we were visiting the area, they gave us some nice options on what to do and where to go. The drinks we bought were so good. Would recommend the cold brew coffees with a shot of vanilla and Irish cream. Topped it off with some soy and coconut milk. Would definitely come back to try more options and to experience the great customer service again. read more

This is the best coffee around! I remember dutch brothers when they first opened in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We use to go there to see which cute boys where working (just an added bonus). But the coffee really is my favorite. I like the white chocolate annihilator. My friend Nina loves the milky way. And ps if you don't want coffee try to apple cider- it's also really great. I've been to several locations- Salem, Florence, and Klamath Falls... always great service! This place beats starsbucks easy! I used to come here all the time when I was in Oregon, but even though I do love the coffee, I have to give it 3 stars because there's just too much chit-chatting than there is coffee making...and well..when you have a line of cars and you spent 20 minutes chit chatting with the first car...it's just too long of a wait, and the worst part is, you can't get out because there's cars in front of you and behind you. read more

This place is every high school girls dream and every adults nightmare. Today I desperately needed caffeine to get me through the day, and so about 2 pm I stopped at Dutch bros. I've actually never been before, but it's the closest to my office so I decided to give it a shot. I rolled up and there were about 6 teeny boopers in that little building, dancing and twerking to missy Elliot at a volume which can only be described as mind consuming. I honestly didn't even think the girl behind the counter could hear me. They were super nice, don't get me wrong, but after being handed a milk with Carmel sauce (their version of Carmel macchiato) I bailed out of there at light speed. Next time I'll drive the extra two miles to get real caffeinated beverages, from nice grumpy girls who don't talk to me. read more

That is saying something. If you want real coffee, go across the street to Break Point. I give 2 stars because the idea of Dutch is good. It was just not executed well. I live a block away and I never go there. Again, their drinks are just way too sweet, the smoothies separate and are gross, and the music is too loud. I would not recommend. read more

Went here just before working days in that area and enjoyed the variety of coffee. Not a fan of the straw in with the coffee. I enjoy a richer flavor of the coffee bean from the mocha coffee that was offered. Very friendly staff and quick service. read more

First timer to Dutch Bros. I'm from So Cal so I'm used to Starbucks. I'm hard to please. I ordered a blended Cocomo. I had it sugar-free, non-fat and lactose free. It was DELICIOUS! The guy at the window was "earthy" and just so adorable and friendly. I highly recommend this alternative to any coffee hut. I've been looking for another store since we hit the first one.
